[missed about 10 min due to a special news report]

 On Monday, Hope tries to convince Jude that she's interested in him both personally and professionally. Of course she is only doing this to get Jude to trust her, and once he does, Hope's going to make a break for it. [Seeing her in the bathtub, he starts coming on strong.] Unfortunately for Hope, Jude wants her, and he wants her *now*. [She convinces him to unchain her. They are on the bed when Jude realizes that he's supposed to meet Peter. Hope tries to find out who he's meeting, but he won't tell her. He chains her up again and leaves.] Meanwhile, Bo, who is bedridden, can't bear the thought of Hope being out there alone. Even though everyone else thinks she's gone, Bo doesn't and he won't, not ever [not even if he finds a body?] Obsessed with this, Bo has a vision that Hope is alive. Desperate to rescue her, Bo struggles to get out of bed and back to that mountain [Bo's 'escape' happened on Friday's show, actually.] Bo has no idea that another deadly storm is on the way and in his weakened condition, it can only spell disaster. [Jack is pleased when Jennifer shows concern over him going out to search for Hope (and then Bo, when they discover him missing). She says it's because he has a cold and she doesn't want Abby exposed to it when he takes her this weekend, but Jack knows she genuinely cares. She emphasizes that she's married to Peter and she loves him. Speaking of Peter, he is conspicuously absent. Jenn explains that he 'needed some air'. He's actually meeting Jude to give him the money he demanded. Through Peter, Jude learns that someone is looking for a woman who was caught in an avalanche. Jude figures out that it's Bo looking for Hope. A man stops by the pub and says he saw Jude St. Clair and another man in the woods. Jack is sure it was Peter, and interrupts Peter and Jenn's romantic evening to confront him. Jude returns to the cabin and starts coming on to Hope, who puts him off by reminding him that she wants champagne and caviar. Feeling frustrated and selfish, Jude decides that he's not going to spend *his* money on that, and ransacks Hope's belongings. He finds Hope's badge and realizes she's a cop. Meanwhile, Bo's brain has defrosted and he guesses that Jude has had Hope all this time. Finding tracks in the snow, he follows them.] Believing there is no chance that Marlena feels for him the way that he does for her [and because of her encouragement to repair his relationship with Kristen], John agrees to move in with Kristen. He's also ready to start on the family they once hoped to have. [Per usual, their potential sex-fest is interrupted by the lady in white screaming. Kristen had given her the old Blake family album to look at, and something really freaked her out.] Marlena has returned to the penthouse, alone and unprotected from Stefano, who is patiently waiting to claim her for himself. [She spills something on herself and hops in the shower.] John and Kristen cannot calm the lady in white and call Marlena. There's no answer, prompting John to rush over there. She doesn't answer the door either, so John lets himself in. Marlena is relieved to see that it's John and not an intruder. He brings her to the lady in white, who is too shaken to speak. When Kristen announces the happy news that John is moving in with her, Marlena feigns happiness. John then learns from Abe that Stefano was spotted in Salem, but Marlena insists that everyone go on with their lives (including the romantic evening John and Kristen had planned). Marlena promises she'll leave her security system on constantly. Won't do much good, since Stefano has his own code for it.]

Tuesday 19March96

On Tuesday, Jude finds out that Hope is a cop. He confronts her about this, and accuses Hope of having been on to him all along. Hope tries to deny it [saying she was working on a case at first, but then really fell for him], but this time Jude doesn't believe a word she has to say. In fact, Jude is so angry with Hope for having duped him that he intends to get revenge, and he doesn't intend to stop at rape. [He intends to kill Hope. Her cop skills finally resurface and she injures him, giving her enough time to run off. Unfortunately, Jude soon catches up with her.] Meanwhile, Bo is once again searching for Hope. He takes his time, not knowing that Hope is more danger than ever before. [Jude gets Hope in a chokehold, and she passes out. Then Bo shows up and gets in a fist fight with Jude. After Bo knocks Jude down, he checks on Hope, who comes to and tells Bo she knew he'd come for her. Jude recovers and aims a gun at the two.] In the meantime, Peter is in shock when Jack tells him that a witness has come forward, claiming to have seen Jude with another man. Jack says "I strongly suspect that you were the other man." Forced to go along with this or risk losing credibility in Jennifer's eyes [since she's certain it wasn't him], Peter sweats bullets as they wait for that witness to arrive. As he stands there trying to act calm, cool, and collected, Peter wonders if this time, his connection to Jude will finally be revealed. [Lucky for him, the witness says he cannot positively identify Peter, since he only saw him from behind. Back in Salem, when John hears that Stefano is back in town, he insists on staying with Marlena to protect her. Marlena insists that she'll be fine, but John refuses to take no for an answer. Kristen comes up with a solution: Marlena will move in with her and John in the DiMera mansion. Stefano is lurking outside and is not pleased with the change in events. Tension rises as John runs into Marlena wearing a borrowed nightgown from Kristen, who later asks John to make love to her. He says they still have things to work out, but agrees to spend the night in her bed. Eluding the police, Stefano keeps an eye on Marlena and vows to have her all to himself soon.]

Wednesday 20March96

On Wednesday, Bo is reunited with Hope. Jude is furious, and if he has his way, their reunion will be a short one because he intends to kill them both. Bo suspects Jude is planning to do something sinister [No! Really?] and is already working on an escape plan of his own. [Hope is confused when Bo 'surrenders' to Jude and says he has won. Bo requests that he be allowed one last kiss with Hope. While holding each other close, Bo clues Hope in on his plan. They distract him and Bo and Jude struggle with the gun. Bo is injured, and Jude runs off. Meanwhile, Jack and Jenn hear Hope's screams and are astonished to find Hope and Bo together. Peter, who took another trail to search for Bo, runs into Jude. After each makes threats on the other, they agree to call it a 'draw'. Peter lets Jude go, and Jude will keep his mouth shut about Peter's illegal dealings. Bo is brought back to the pub and cared for. Hope stays by his bedside. Though weak, Bo insists that he has something he must say to Hope. He wants to tell her he loves her, but succombs to his exhaustion before he can verbalize it. Peter panics when he learns from Jenn that Jack has gone out looking for Jude. Saying it's for protection, Peter borrows a rifle and goes after him. Meanwhile, Jack has found Jude, who tries to bargain with Jack. Jack refuses to listen until Jude offers him info about who he's working for.] Ivan finds Vivian at the Salem inn, distraught at being thrown out of Victor's life. Ivan hates seeing his beloved Madame like this, and with heartfelt emotions whispers "Fight for what you want, and if it's Victor, go for it." Ivan's words motivate Vivian to do just that. Step one is getting back those divorce papers before Victor's lawyers have a chance to file them. There is just one snag -- the papers are in the mansion. Vivian decides to take the risk of breaking into the mansion to retrieve the document. Unfortunately, there is a party going on. Ivan is worried about that and asks "Do you think you can get out of the house with the divorce papers without Kate finding you?" [Nope. Kate finds Vivian as she is sneaking out. She claims to have stopped by to pick up some of her belongings, but Kate doesn't by it and the two have a cat fight and Kate wrestles the divorce papers away from Vivian. Victor tells her to leave now while she still has a shred of dignity left. Outside, Vivian tells Ivan it's not over yet. She still has some people on her side (I believe she's referring to Sami, who at the party is ingratiating herself to Kate in an effort to get closer to Austin). Kate talks privately with both Carrie and Austin, and sees that they still love each other even though they are apart. Carrie agrees to go away with Lucas to go skiing. Though Victor says they must respect Austin and Carrie's decision to stay apart, Kate doesn't seem willing to sit back and do nothing.]

Thursday 21March96

On Thursday, Peter goes to look for Jude, leaving Jennifer at the pub with Sarah. [She tells Jenn that she's really lucky to have two men who love her so much. Jennifer emphasizes that she is with Peter, and Jack is dreaming if he thinks they'll ever get back together. Sarah defends Jack by saying that he is going after Peter because he wants to protect Jennifer.] Sarah voices her concern for Jack saying if Jack is right and Peter is working with Jude, then Peter could be apt to try to cover his tracks, and Jack could be in danger. Although Jennifer tries to cover, she's shaken by Sarah's words, but she defends Peter by saying Jack is wrong. "If you're right," snaps Sarah, "then why would Peter feel a need to take Lou's rifle?" Jennifer didn't know about that, and now she's really worried. [Actually she did know about it,and tells Sarah that Peter only took it for protection. In a really bright move, Jennifer decides to go after him.] Jack has captured Jude. He is ready to bring him in when Jude says "I will give you the name of the man who is working with me, but only if you set me free." Jack is very tempted by the offer, not knowing that Peter is watching, ready to shoot the rifle if he has to. [Looks like he's aiming on purpose to me. He wants Jude out of the picture once and for all. Jude tries to strike a deal with Jack, saying that if he lets him go, when he's safely out of the country he'll send him the name of the man he's working for. Jack won't go for it, and wants the name *now*. Jack says he already knows who it is -- Peter Blake. Jude won't admit to anything unless Jack lets him go. Jude knocks the gun out of Jack's hand and the two have a knock-down drag-out fight in the snow. With all the movement, Peter could very well shoot Jack instead of Jude. Jennifer approaches and she screams as Peter pulls the trigger.] Kate and Victor attend the opening of the Salem Club [a very original name for a dance club, and a rather lame one at that.] They are not happy to see Vivian there. Vivian is keeping a low profile for now, but she thinks that she'll be able to use Sami as an ally to help her with her scheme. [Sami, meanwhile, has schemed to get Austin to take her to the club. He's needs to cover the opening for Bella magazine anyway. Everybody's bosoms come out at this club. Vivian's wearing a sheer lacey black number, Kate's breasts are shoved up to _there_, Sami's wearing a red dress with a plunging neckline, and Carrie's little white number couldn't be much lower-cut. She's there with Lucas. Earlier she was touched to find a scrapbook that he has made of all their time spent together. She reminds him, though, that she's not ready for a serious relationship. Of course Carrie ends up dancing with Austin to 'their song'. Kate tries to think of a way to prove that they still belong together, and becomes suspicious when she spots Vivian talking with Sami. She's asking for Sami's assistance, but she refuses. However, Vivian can tell Austin all about how she schemed to keep Carrie and Austin apart.]

Friday 22March96

On Friday, a shot rings out and Jennifer runs to Jack, thinking Peter has shot him. [Both men go down, and Jack is covered in blood.] But the shot hit Jude instead, killing him. Jack goes to Peter shouting "You killed Jude to keep him from squealing." Peter denies it, claiming he was just trying to save Jack's life. In the end, both men leave it up to Jennifer. [She is disgusted that after all that has happened, they are only concerned about who she believes.] Meanwhile, Hope is keeping a vigil at Bo's bedside. When he begins to improve, Hope calls Alice and Shawn-Douglas to let them know that she's alive [how thoughtful!]. When she voices her doubts about Bo's feelings, Alice cries "Bo never once believed you were dead, and that's because he loves you." [She says he deeply regretted not telling her that he loved her.] Hope is not convinced [she wonders if he said that because he thought she was dead], and prays Bo will wake up soon so he can tell her how he really feels. [Bo awakens and overhears Hope thanking God for having Bo find her. He pulls his battered body out of bed and tells Hope that he loves her. He always has, and he always will.] John and Kristen try to have a night of passion [well, they're sleeping in the same bed], but the fact that Marlena is at the penthouse alone has John very worried [No, Marlena is staying at the DiMera house with them, but John won't feel comfortable until Stefano is caught. Kristen feels that John really doesn't want to be there with her, and pleads with him to tell her what she must do to get things back the way they used to be. John says he can't make a commitment to her and raise a family like she wants until they straighten out their relationship.] When Abe calls with the news that they are closing in on Stefano, John joins in their hunt. [Of course he eludes the skilled Salem P.D. Back home, Kristen tells Marlena that she is the reason she and John aren't back together.] In a fit of despair, Vivian agrees to go to bed with Ivan [gee, I wouldn't have to be in despair to go to bed with Ivan ;) Vivian is really drunk, by the way.] Ivan is so excited that he rushes off to get the room ready. Vivian stays at the club for a few more drinks. She sees a man in her bed and assumes it's Ivan. But when she pulls the covers back, she's shocked by who she finds there [Stefano!]
