Vivian is at Titan and Ivan comes in and asks what is wrong. She is upset because her letter to Nicky Alamein has been returned marked address unknown and she doesn't know where he is. Ivan is reassuring her that they will be in contact again.
In his office, Victor is worried about Bo losing Hope and looks at Kates photo.
On the boat Kate is asking Jose when she will get away. He assures her that it will be tonight.
At the trial everyone is watching Tony's tape about how evil John is and how he believes John will kill him. Peter turns the tape off and offers the motive for John killing Tony. John believes it is a mistake and Kristen believes John killed Tony.
John tells Kristen it is untrue and Marlena believes him. Mickey is trying to say it is prejudicial and they can't use the tape because they can't cross-examine Tony. The judge rules the tape to be allowed as evidence.
Stefano is delighted about the tape but Celeste doesn't believe John did it. Stefano thinks Kristen will doubt John's innocence. The Woman in White listens and says she must get the diary.
Peter calls Kristen to the stand.
Vivian comes in to see Victor and he tells Vivian that Hope is still lost. Vivian is sympathetic and then leaves tactfully. Ivan asks what is wrong and Vivian tells him what is wrong with Victor. She is going to try to help him.
Kate is looking forward to escaping and accepts a dinner invitation from the Captain. When he leaves, she stands talking to herself about the revenge she will get at Vivian.
Peter asks Kristen about how Tony seemed on the tape and if he was sound of mind. Kristen says she believes so. Peter asks her if she believes if John was capable of killing Tony and after a long hesitation and pressure she cries "Yes - it is possible". Everyone is stunned and Stefano is delighted and Celeste agrees sadly. Kristen apologises to John. Peter claims to have proved his case. Kristen leaves the court room.
Vivian brings in Philip to see Victor to make him happy. She then takes Philip upstairs to bed and Victor comments on how nice it was of her to have brought Philip. Ivan says especially as Vivian is suffering herself and tells Victor about Carly and Lawrence moving and not letting her know where to. Victor is impressed how Vivian has changed.
Mickey requests an adjournment of the trial and gets it. Marlena is still supporting John. John can't believe that Kristen didn't believe him but Marlena defends Kristen and hugs John and tells him to talk to Kristen. John asks Marlena to go to Kristen and ask her to go and see him.
Stefano is happy and is looking forward to seeing Marlena and asks Celeste to help him get ready for her visit. Celeste tells him to do it himself and leaves. Stefano is bewildered at her reaction and chases her. The Woman in While comes in and Stefano comes back and catches her. He keeps asking her who she is and why she is haunting him. She pushes him and runs off. He sees Kristen in the corridor and tells her to come inside.
John is fuming in jail and Mickey is trying to reassure him.
Kristen tells Stefano how much she wanted to believe John and Stefano comforts her and then she leaves. Celeste comes back in and comments that he looks strange. Stefano turns and says he remembers the Woman in the painting.
The Woman in White is in the garden moaning that she was so close to helping Johnny and tries to run away from Marlena. Marlena tells her she needs her help to save John.
Jose comes in to tell Kate that it will be soon.
Victor thanks Vivian for her kindness and they talk about losing loved ones. Vivian says she will always be there for him and they kiss.
Stefano says it all came back and Celeste tells him to forget her and how he can't forget anyone who rejects him. Stefano says the Woman in the painting is dead and Celeste says the Woman in White is her ghost. He says she is real and Celeste is worried about all the secrets coming out. Stefano believes the Woman in White is a crazy woman and she had better watch out.
Marlena asked the Woman in White what she meant about the dead man speaks. The Woman in White says "it is in the house - find it" and runs off. Kristen then comes into the garden and Marlena tells her to go to John and that he loves her.
Kate is still on the boat and Jose comes in and tells her that the escape is off and it is too dangerous. Kate is extremely upset.
Victor breaks off kissing Vivian and tells her he wants a relationship and he wants to start anew by romancing her.
John is in jail reliving Kristen saying "Yes" at the trial. He is stunned and believes she won't come to him.
Marlena goes to Stefano and tells him about the Woman in White and that there is proof and that it is in the house. Marlena goes back to the garden to hopefully see her again. Stefano is freaking out about what is happening but determined nothing will come between him and Marlena.

Carrie and Lucas return from New York and go in to her apartment. Austin and Sami arrive soon after and Austin wonders if Carrie is back and they go into their apartment. Carrie comes out and Lucas asks what is wrong - she says nothing and goes back inside again.
Peter is writing his summation and then looks at the flyer of Jude St Clair. Peter tries to convince Abe that he is wasting his time looking for Jude. Peter sees Jennifer passing out the flyers in the pub and asks her why she is doing it. Jennifer says she believes John is innocent. Jack walks in and says how much he appreciates her helping with the flyers.
Hope is dreaming about Bo and calling out to him. She thinks she she's him on the bed and tells him that she loves him - but it was Jude.
Peter talks to Jack about the flyers and that John in the murderer. Jennifer states that she believes John is innocent and Jack and her confront Peter about having a problem with them looking for Jude. Jennifer claims that finding Jude would be a positive move after Hope's death.
Bo is outside the Aremid pub and Jack comes out to check up on him. Bo tells Jack that he can't believe that Hope is gone. Jack supports and sympathises. Bo believes that she is not gone.
Hope is in bed shivering with fever and asking for help. Jude stands looking at her and says he wants to get her back but she has to be awake.
Jonah is at Austin's and Sami goes to Wendy's to borrow some sugar. Austin is looking at a Titan company magazine article about Carrie being Young Executive of the Year. Jonah asks Austin if he is still in love with Carrie.
Carrie finds out that she is the Young Executive of the Year for Titan. She thanks Lucas for nominating her and for letting her handle the business in New York. Lucas says he wants to be a friend and then leaves. Carrie stands at the door and says she has to have a life without Austin.
Jack and Bo are still talking about Hope. A State Trooper interrupts them and Bo goes inside. Jack is determined to find Jude.
Jennifer tells Peter that she has to help John. Peter apologises for the lack of honeymoon and leaves to prepare for the trial. Jennifer goes to Bo, who is sitting at the bar ordering a drink, and asks if she can help. He says "not unless you can bring Hope back".
Hope's fever is down and again Jude says how she must get better but she will wish she was dead. Hope thinks Jude is Bo. Jude wants to learn about her and Bo.
Lucas sees Sami in the hallway. They start moaning to each other about the connection between Carrie and Austin. Sami thinks Lucas should say that he loves Carrie. Meanwhile, Jonah tells Austin that he still loves Carrie.
Austin tells Jonah that he saw Carrie in bed with Lucas. Jonah says that maybe it wasn't what it seemed - like him and Sami. Austin also tell Jonah that Carrie and Lucas shared a room in New York because Lucas had told him on the phone.
Bo is at the bar drinking and Abe told him that they have found someone who know something about Jude. A State Trooper brings in Harry Wilcox. Abe questions Harry about Jude. Bo gets upset when he says he doesn't know him. Harry admits he talked to Jude and after being pressured he tells them that he had asked Jude for a light for his cigarette. Bo pins Harry to the wall.
Peter is practising his speech for the trial. Peter asks for the death penalty. The phone rings and it is Deke worried about the cops looking for Jude. Peter tells him not to worry and that he should be in the Cayman Islands.
Jennifer is worried about Bo and they think they should find Jude. Jack calls the overseas bank (the number from the match box). He asks for the name of the account holder but the bank hangs up. Jack is determined to go to the Cayman Islands.
Abe takes Bo off Harry and tells the Trooper to arrest Harry on outstanding warrants. Abe tell Bo to calm down and accept that Hope is gone. Bo says he misses her.
Hope is dreaming about being buried in the avalanche and wake up. She looks around and asks "where am I?"
Jonah keeps telling Austin not to give up on Carrie but Austin won't listen as usual. Jonah tells him to talk to Carrie before it's too late and then he leaves. Lucas comes back to Carrie's apartment and knocks on her door. She answers and asks "did you forget something?" He says "yeah" and kisses her. Austin comes out from his apartment and sees them - so does Sami.
Jack and Jennifer go back into the bar and ask Abe if he has heard anything on Jude. Abe isn't sure whee Jude is. Jack and Jennifer believe the match box is connected with Jude. The phone rings in the pub and it is Peter for Jennifer. He tells her that they have to talk.
Hope calls for Bo. Jude comes in with firewood and tells her Bo isn't there but not to worry as he is going to take care of her.
Austin goes back inside and Sami hides around the corner. Lucas apologises but Carrie says she in not over Austin and wants to go slow. Lucas says that's okay and they hug goodnight and he leaves very happy. Sami comes and stares at Carrie's door.
In her apartment, Carrie says "Austin". Sami goes into her place and sees that Jonah has left and asks Austin if he is having regrets about her and Will. Austin reassures her that they are the reason he gets up in the morning. Sami still believes that Austin will love her.
Peter tells Jennifer he is really busy with the case and is sorry they aren't together. Jennifer hangs up and goes to Jack. Jack is on the phone booking a flight to look for Jude. Jennifer tells him she will go with him.
Bo is outside talking to the heavens saying he believes Hope is still alive and how much he loves her. "Please God, let her know how much I love her".
Hope is scared and asks Jude to let her go. Jude taunts her and she says she won't tell anyone that she saw him. He agrees and handcuffs her to the bed so she can't escape and that he has plans and they are going to have a real good time.

John is in jail and Marlena comes to see him. She asks if he talked to Kristen and John says no. John says he is not giving up on being found innocent and Marlena believes in him.
Stefano and Celeste argue about whether or not John is innocent. Stefano is worried about the judge hoping the court of appeal will overturn the video evidence.
Hope is wondering where Jude is and heard Bo calling. She calls out and he comes rushing in.
Kristen overhears Peter talking to his clerk about nailing John with Kristen's testimony. The clerk leaves to get the car and Peter defends his position to Kristen and how sorry he is but that the verdict is fair.
Stefano phones the judge and pressures him about a guilty verdict and then demands it. The judge doesn't believe that John murdered Tony. Stefano threatens the judge and hangs up. Stefano is determined no one will get in the way. Celeste reminds him of the Woman in White. The Woman in White wants Stefano to leave Aremid so she can get the diary.
Bo and Hope kiss and he says he will get her out. Hope wakes up from her dream. Jude tells her she will not be rescued but Hope believes Bo will find her.
In his hotel room, Bo wakes up and someone is at the door. It is Laura. She is worried about Shawn-D becoming withdrawn and thinks Bo should take him home.
Kristen sees John at the trial and apologises. John tells Kristen he is shocked but he never laid a hand on Tony. John can't believe that Kristen doesn't believe him. Kristen said she had lied to him and that she had had doubts about his innocence and couldn't get them out of her head. The judge comes into the court room and everyone sits down. The judge says that he doesn't think he will hear Mickey's expert witnesses and asks Peter to comment. Peter says they won't add anything so the judge rules that the witnesses are not allowed. Mickey asks for some time.
Bo says he will take care of Shawn-D. Laura says he needs to go home and be with his friends and family but Bo won't leave. Laura says that she thinks Bo is staying because he believes Hope is alive.
Jude keeps telling Hope that she can't escape and is going to show her what he wants from her.
Maggie is on the witness stand saying what a great guy John is. When she has finished Mickey starts to call his next witness when Stefano comes in and asks to speak on behalf of John.
Bo is pressuring the State Troopers to find Hope. They tell Bo to go home but he won't. Laura rushes outside and tells Bo that Shawn-D needs him. She tells Bo that Shawn-D had overheard someone talking about a lady frozen and alone in the snow. Bo tells Shawn-D that he will take him home and that Hope is safe where she is.
Hope tells Jude he will be charged with kidnapping. Jude says he doesn't care and starts kissing her neck. She tells him to stop. He stops when he sees she is still sick with a fever. He doesn't want her illness and she tells him to leave her there but he says that they will have some good times together when she is well.
Mickey is protesting that Stefano is not on his witness list. Stefano says to the judge that as the father of the victim, he wants to be heard. The judge allows him to take the stand. John, Mickey and Marlena are surprised by this. Stefano gives a big heart-rendering speech about Tony's death and wants to speak about John. He says that he thinks John is good person and of unimpeachable character. Marlena mouths "thank you" to Stefano. Peter questions Stefano and asks him if he believes if John murdered Tony, Stefano says "Yes". Mickey objects and asks the testimony to be stricken from the record. Judge agrees. Mickey tells John there are no more witnesses and John insists to be put on the stand.
The Woman in White is in the hallway outside Stefano's room. She is disturbed by a maid taking lunch to Stefano. Celeste tells the maid that he is out and she is going out too. The Woman in White goes into Stefano's room and finds the diary.
John is on the stand and tells his story. Peter tries to trip John up but John declares his innocence and the judge asks John to step down. The defence rested and the judge adjourned for 10 minutes. Kristen told John she was moved by what he said. John realised that Kristen has always doubted him and nothing will be the same between them.
Jude helps to cool down Hope with a face cloth on her forehead. He still goes on about revenge. Hope begs Bo not to give up on her. Meanwhile, Bo is packing to leave and realises he has to take Shawn-D home.
Peter is giving his summation to the trial and asks for the guilty verdict. Mickey gives his closing statement. Marlena is supportive to John.
Stefano goes back to his room and Celeste spots a piece of lace on the floor. They realise the Woman in White had been there and wondered what she was looking for. The Woman in White is clutching the diary and going on about John being innocent.
Bo and Shawn-D go to leave and Laura gives them a hug. Shawn-D notices the bird that they had released while they were camping. Hope is lying sick and begs Bo to find her. Bo turns to Laura and asks her what she wanted - Laura says that she didn't say anything. Bo and Shawn-D leave.
Mickey is in court giving his summation about how good a guy John is. Kristen glances at John during this. Mickey asks for the verdict of Not Guilty. The judge places the court in recess. John congratulates Mickey and says that they need a miracle. Kristen asks to speak to John but he is upset at her for not believing in him. John asks her if she thinks he is lying. She doesn't know but tells him she still loves him. They kiss and then she leaves. Marlena goes to John and is supportive again.
Stefano is angry about the Woman in White interfering with the case. He and Celeste look around the room when he realises that a book is missing - Stefano wants to know why it was so special. The Woman in White is back in her room and says that she must give the diary to Marlena and rushes out.

Victor has sent Vivian flowers and she is watching her step with him.
Jose tells Kate the plan has changed and the escape is on again.
Marlena tells John that if there is anything she can do to help to let her know. She is convinced the judge believes John and not to give up hope. John is called back into the cell. Kristen is outside the pub watching them. Jennifer comes up and asks Kristen what she is doing and tells her that she should go to John. Kristen tells Jennifer that she can't and leaves. Jack then comes over to Jennifer and she tells him that Kristen feels so guilty for letting down John. Jack starts in about Peter and Jennifer tells him to stop. They then discuss plans for leaving and Jack tells Jennifer that she isn't going.
Stefano is worried about the Woman in White and both he and Celeste try to work out what the book was. He is determined to find the Woman in White and the book.
Jack tells Jennifer she needs to stay for John. He admits he doesn't want her involved in the search and they argue about Peter being involved with Jude. Jack agrees to Jennifer going but tells Jennifer she can't tell Peter where they are going. She agrees only to help John and prove Peter's innocence.
Marlena is with John at the jail and they discuss Kristen. John is still upset with Kristen.
Stefano is worried the book will clear John. Celeste maintains the Woman in White is a ghost because she can vanish. Stefano remembers something Peter's father once told him - about the house having secret passages. He then starts to look for the passages.
Kristen and Peter are in the garden and Peter drags Kristen back inside where it is warm. The Woman in White is hiding from them and wanting to find Marlena to give her the book.
Vivian is wondering how she can keep Victor. Ivan tells her that Victor will find it hard to forget Kate. Vivian has a plan. Victor comes in to invite Vivian to dinner but she declines on a personal matter. Ivan asks her what she is up to.
Kate tells Jose that he will be rewarded for freeing her. He leaves and the captain comes in and tells Kate he has to go and says he will miss her. He asks for a kiss and Kate makes him close his eyes and let him kiss a fish. He then leaves. Kate gets ready to leave.
Jennifer is on the phone to Alice and tells her goodbye. Peter comes into the pub with Kristen. Jennifer tells Peter that she has to leave. When Peter asks why, she tells him that she is off to a clinic that is being named after her grandfather and Alice can't make it and asked Jennifer to go. She tells him that she should be gone for a couple of days. They kiss and Jennifer leaves to meet Jack outside. She tells Jack that she didn't lie to Peter and that she had spoken to Alice. Jack was worried that Jennifer had told Peter about Jude, but she hadn't.
John and Marlena are still discussing Kristen. John is hurt by Kristen's not believing him. Marlena tells John that she saw the Woman in White and that she had proof and something about "dead man speaks". John tells her to find the Woman in White. Marlena tells John she has been trying to.
The Woman in White has gone back to her room and is scared that there are too many people around. She is scared Stefano will find her and hurt her. She needs to give the book to Marlena.
Stefano is banging on the walls to his room. He finds a secret door and goes in. He tells Celeste to cover for him while he's gone.
Peter and Kristen are discussing the trial. Kristen feels guilty and wants to meet with the judge. Peter talks her out of it and tells her to go and see John.
Jennifer and Jack are on the plane discussing Peter, Jude and the trial.
Vivian is at work when Sergio comes in to se her. They go into her office and Victor comes out and asks Marie if Vivian is in. Marie tells him that Sergio is with her. Victor goes to the door and listens before he walks in on Sergio and Vivian laughing.
Marlena and John are still discussing Kristen when she arrives. Marlena tells John that she is going to find the Woman in White and leaves. Kristen and John discuss the Woman in White. John says he is hurt and disappointed in Kristen. Kristen tells him that she loves him but John tells her to go.
Stefano bursts in on the Woman in White and asks for the book. He searches the room and finds the book. He starts to read the book and realises it is Tony's handwriting. When he turns around the Woman in White has disappeared so he leaves.
Victor asks Sergio to leave for a moment. Victor then accuses Vivian of bringing her new boyfriends to the office under his nose. Vivian tells him that Sergio is a caterer and that she is planning a huge benefit gala in memory of Kate. She wants to raise enough money to build the Kate Roberts Paediatric Wing at Memorial hospital. Victor is grateful and hugs Vivian.
The Captain catches Kate and Jose trying to leave. Kate realises that it was all a set up and that the Captain wants Kate for himself and will keep her for another 2 years. Kate vows to escape.
Jennifer is on the plane phone to Peter. Jennifer is worried about Kristen. Peter apologises to Jennifer for the hectic time since they were married. She hangs up and declares her love for Peter to Jack.
Stefano returns to his room and starts to read the diary. They discover that Tony was dying. Stefano is stunned. He reads some more and says he now knows who is responsible for Tony's death.
Jennifer and Peter arrive at the Grand Canyon.
John and Kristen are still discussing her evidence and John is talking about her lack of trust. Kristen goes on about their love and how it should survive this. John is not sure.
The Woman in White is in the garden and freaking out about Stefano and talking about Marlena getting the diary.
Stefano tells Celeste that the diary has every detail about Tony framing John for his murder. Celeste is surprised that Toney would do they but Stefano said he would do the same. Celeste reminds Stefano that John didn't murder Tony but Stefano is going to honour Tony's dying wish to send John Black to his death. He picks up a lighter.

Bo and Shawn-D arrive back at the boat. Shawn-D finds a magazine that he had got for Hope and says how much he was hoping they would be a family. Bo agrees.
Jude is getting angry because Hope keeps calling out for Bo. Jude is hungry and there is no food in the cabin.
Jack and Jennifer at the Grand Cayman bank. There is a sign advertising Teller Training and they agree to pose as Trainee Tellers. They hope it works for John's sake.
Kristen and John are at the jail and Kristen is hoping John will forgive her. John is still hoping for a clue to clear his name.
Jack picks up a Trainee name card for himself and goes over to the Tutor, Mr Billings, who asks where Jennifer's name tag is. Jack says she doesn't need one because they are married but Mr Billings says she does and writes one out for her.
Celeste tells Stefano not to burn Tony's diary. They argue over John destroying Kristen's marriage to Tony. Celeste doesn't want Stefano to burn the diary when Marlena knocks at the door and calls out to him.
Kristen is still going on about being sorry and John is still going on about there being no trust between them. Mickey comes in to tell John the judge has reached his verdict.
Bo is on the boat going through the mail when Shawn-D come in and asks what they will do without Hope. Bo says they will look after each other. Shawn-D says again that he was hoping they would have been a family again. Bo asks Shawn-D if he wants to go to school and Shawn-D replies that he does because he doesn't want to let Hope down. Bo tells him that he has to be brave. Shawn-D says he misses Hope and Bo agrees. Sawn-D says that Hope knew Bo loved her and Bo tells Shawn-D that he loves him and Shawn-D tells Bo that he loves him too. Bo then lets Shawn-D go to a friends place. When he leaves, Bo plays back the answering machine and hears Hope. He plays back the message.
Marlena is still knocking on the door and eventually opens it and goes in. Stefano hides the diary behind his back. Marlena asks if Stefano heard her knocking. He lies by saying that he was going to surprise her by walking without the cane but he couldn't. Marlena apologises for not being there because she has been busy with John. She tells Stefano and Celeste that she thinks about the Woman in White and how much the lady wants to help John. Stefano tells her not to be upset. Marlena tells them there is proof but doesn't know what it is. She says she has to find the lady and asks Stefano if he knows where she is. He says no. While Marlene's back is turned, Stefano hides the diary in a drawer and Marlena turns and asks what the noise was. Stefano and Celeste say they heard nothing and that she is imaging things. Marlena comments that she has been trying to help John and that she is going to search the house. Stefano tells her the police searched the house already and found nothing. The phone rings and it is Peter letting Stefano know the judge has made his decision. He tells Marlena, who rushes off to go to John. Stefano decides to ring the judge.
In the courtroom Maggie, Mickey and Kristen are discussing the judge's decision. John comes in. Mickey is hopeful the verdict will be in John's favour but will fight it if it is not. He goes off to see a clerk and leaves Kristen with John. She sympathises with John.
At the bank Mr Billings is going through the trainee's duties. They are told they need to know the basics.
Bo is still listening to the answer machine and is talking to himself about whether or not to let Hope go. Shawn-D is listening at the door.
Hope is trying to remove the handcuffs whilst Jude isn't looking. Jude then tells Hope he is going to look for food and not to try to escape. He leaves. She tries to unscrew the bed railing.
Celeste is trying to get hold of the judge but his Secretary won't put her through. Stefano takes the phone off her and is put through to the judge. He threatens the judge but the judge doesn't want to pronounce the guilty verdict and hangs up on Stefano. Stefano and Celeste go to court.
The judge comes into court. He prepares to give the verdict.
Bo looks at photos of Hope and then walks out into the galley. Shawn-D is there with Alice. Shawn-D leaves them together. Alice tells Bo to have faith and that he will find Hope. They hug.
Jude breaks into another cabin and starts to fill a bag with food. Hope is still trying to get the handcuffs off the bed railing.
Marlena comes into the court room. The judge assures John that he gave him the fairest possible hearing. Stefano and Celeste arrive in court. The judge gives his verdict as guilty. Marlena cries 'no". Stefano says "at long last". The judge allows Peter to be heard before sentencing. Mickey tells a stunned John he will start an appeal.
Hope is still struggling to be free. Jude throws more food into the bag and then spots a Valentine's Day card on the table. He reads it then opens the present and takes it with him. He realises he needs money and sees a phone and picks it up.
Peter asks for the death penalty. Mickey gives his speech and asks the judge to show mercy and that there are people still trying to find evidence to set him free. John rises and swears before God and everyone that he did not kill Tony. He asks for the judge's leniency. Stefano shakes his head. The judge adjourns the case. Stefano is worried the judge will not give the death penalty and goes to make sure that he does. Marlena is positive and John is hopeful.
Stefano goes to the judge and tells him what to do. The judge accuses Stefano of concocting the whole thing. Stefano says he didn't but he is not believed and wants to know why he wants John dead. The judge doesn't want to pass the sentence but Stefano says "it's him or you" and leaves. Kristen is wondering what the sentence will be. Stefano comes back into the court room. He says to Celeste that the only thing he is certain of is that Marlena will be his.
At the lecture room at the bank Jennifer wants to leave but as part of their training they must answer the phones. Jennifer picks up a ringing phone and realises it is Jude.
Bo is telling Alice how busy he is. Alice wants to know what is really going on.
Hope manages to release herself from the bed.

Back in court, Mickey tells John he will appeal. Kristen hugs John and says she is sorry. Marlena holds his hand and then he is taken back to his cell.
