Salem's Annual Picnic day, sees Lexie still making eyes at Jonah whom is corvorting around with a nurse from the hospital. Billie is very much looking forward to the Countess Wilhelmina board meeting. She tells Carrie and Austin of her good fortune. She is still awaiting news from Bo, who's in Washington awaiting the DNA tests. Vivian is up to usual tricks to keep Vic and Kate from enjoying the picnic together.
Peter meets with Daniel to confirm that their plan is underway, when Daniel had Laura's office decorated, the paint has toxic fumes. It's Laura's first day back at University Hospital. Later Jennifer tells Peter about her concern that Laura may have a relapse. Abe catches Leo picking up his cash that Peter had hidden in the park for him. Sami bumps into Alan at the Health Club as he is picking up his stuff. He taunts her that if she testifies against him, he'll tell everyone what a tramp she is.
The day of the Countess Wilhelmina board meeting. Bo comes back from Washington and finds Gina at the boat. The results of the DNA test are expected later that day. They both rush to the hospital when told Shawn D has had an accident at school. Tony announces Billie as his representative. Carrie finally decides to go back to work at Countess Wilhelmina.
Lucas protests about Billie's appointment. Kate, Victor and Tony discuss the issues in private. Shawn D is OK after mistaking Gina for his mum. John speaks with the Bishop, who confirms a John Black was a priest in his diocese. Unfortunately, the photo in the files is missing. While Kristen prays at the retreat, Celeste comes upon her disguised as a nun. She tries to convince her that John is a priest. Kate is torn between Lucas and trying to give Billie a go. She decides on the later. Gina sings "Twinkle Twinkle" to Shawn D, while Bo look on amazed, (Hope used to sing it). Billie tells Bo her good news.
As Laura has spent all day in her office, she starts to feel the effects of the poisonous paint. John goes to see Kristen, he is convinced it's all an elaborate plan by Stefano, but Kristen is not so sure. The DNA results are in and, of course, though not conclusive, do not deny that Gina is Hope. Billie tells Bo he must make a decision. After speaking with a priest who she knew many years ago, Kristen feels ready to follow her heart and tell John that she will tell Tony about the annulment and marry John. Later the same priest sees John and recognises as Father John Black. He taught John in the seminary and advised him when he was ordained. Bo has made his decision and tells Billie he has to let her go.
