Alan has a knife to Carrie's throat, he drags her to his apartment. With Austin in tow, Lucas realises Carrie needs him and rushes to her apartment. Lucas tells Austin about Sami's rape and Carrie's plan. Austin finds a tape-recorded message from Carrie giving her whereabouts. Kristen and John are hard at it. (No guilty feelings there!) Billie keeps Tony company while the chauffer goes for help. Someone mysterious creeps into the girl's apartment and hides when Bo drops Gina off. While Gina is out of the room, the stranger puts some powder in her glass. As Gina sleeps from the drug, the stranger comes out of hiding and it's Celeste and she says to Gina that she has been sent by Stefano to help Gina win Bo's heart. Austin and Lucas arrive at Alan's apartment to find she's not there. Meanwhile back at the Titian Towers carpark, dangerous fumes are flowing through the vents and Jonah and Lexie must lie low to avoid them. Abe and Bo, (think Billie might be in the carpark) try to get the door open.
Abe and Bo rescue Lexie & Jonah. John and Kristen are STILL at it. During a break, John asks Kristen to move in with him. Back at the cabin, Jack still watches Jennifer and Peter, who are about to leave. As Tony is desperate to get back to Kristen, him and Billie start walking home. When they arrive at the house, Billie is astonished to see Kristen & John together. Tony, of course, is oblivious to what is happening. Billie is disappointed in Kristen. Bo finds Billie at the Di Mera's. Alice and Laura tell Jennifer Jack is back. Kristen starts to tell Tony she's leaving him, but he's asleep.
Jack goes back to Jennifer's house, but hides when Jennifer comes rushing out. She is furious and yells out into the darkness at Jack. Jennifer realises that he saw her and Peter at the cabin. Bo tells Billie what happened while she was away. Alan hides Carrie from Austin and Lucas, but Austin finds an earring that Carrie dropped. While Gina sleeps Celeste speaks to her about Bo and implants the memory of when Bo carved their initials in the tree. Austin and Lucas finally go to Abe. Angry with Carrie for dropping the earring, Alan ties her up. In desperation, Carrie gets him to talk. She lies to him that she has feelings for him and Alan wants to make love to her. Carrie still has the wire attached and turns it on so Austin and Lucas can hear her.
Finally the morning after the blackout! Marlena comes home from Colorado and finds out about Carrie. Lucas and Austin wait impatiently for Carrie to say where Alan has her. Lucas tells Sami that Alan has Carrie and she has a flashback to her rape and recognises a sound she heard on the tape and realises Carrie is at Alan's apartment. Alan finds the wire on Carrie.
Victor asks Kate to marry him. Sami rushes to Alan's apartment to save Carrie. Alan ties up both girls and leaves. Lucas and Austin race after Alan as he tries to steal a car. Kristen tells John she hasn't told Tony. John still trying to crack the computer password.
