Peter gives some lame excuse to Jennifer and then tells her he loves her. Doctor tells Kristen that Tony must not be stressed, so she puts off telling him about her and John. Billie befriends Gina. Doug and Julie return to Salem. Alice tells them about Gina and they go to see her at the hospital. Alan stops Sami from telling Roman about the rape. Gina doesn't recognise Doug and Julie. Hope's fingerprints where thrown out.
Kimberly, Melissa and Marie Horton all return to Salem for the funeral. The Hortons reminisce. Jennifer takes Melissa to see Gina, but she doesn't recognise her. Bo visits Hope's grave. Doug visits Gina and shows her photos of Hope. Gina finds out that Hope had a son. Funeral starts and Bo and Alice share a tender moment. Gina goes to the funeral.
The funeral starts with Doug sing "Danny Boy". Then one by one they get up to speak about Tom. (Alice, Mickey, Marie, Maggie, Bill, Jennifer, Tony (who has bandages around his eyes and weak), Roman, Kimberly, Marlena, Doug, Julie and Bo). Billie sees Gina at the funeral. Bo recalls a time when he and Hope where young and how Tom gave him advice. Gina watches and says to Billie, she now realise how much love Bo had for Hope. Doug sings "Amazing Grace", then close family go to cemetery. Gina goes back to the empty chapel and Shawn D sees her. She asks him "Are you my baby?" as Bo and Billie walk in. The doctor again states to Kristen that Tony mustn't be put under stress, so she must put off telling him about her and John. John asks her not to make love with Tony. Kate and Vivian are having their usual cat fight. Kate fantasies about pushing Vivian down the stairs and tells Vivian in a fit of rage. Kate orders Vivian to leave her house and as Victor walks in the door, Vivian falls down the stairs.
