Vivian wooes Mr. Caldwell over dinner while Ivan steals the tapes of Kate's session with him, talking about whether she's really married to Victor.
Jenn goes to dinner with Peter but is still unsure about his involvement with Stefano, especially after Bill warns her to be careful, so she leaves dinner early.
Bill bumps into Marlena at the pier and tells her how worried about Laura he is. She goes to see Laura but Laura just thinks they're trying to get her committed again.
Kristen and Tony go home and Kristen is upset about Fred Harris. Tony rings Stefano and yells at him to stay out of their lives, knowing he got Fred killed. He and Kristen decide to get away and to visit some of the houses they inherited. She decides to start with Maison Blanche.
Stefano sends John a third piece of the puzzle, then he rings John. John tells him he knows he's trying to lure him to where he's hiding and that he'll get all the details of his past from Stefano, just name the day. Stefano says it'll be him, not John who says when and where, and hangs up.
Bo tells Billie he doesn't want to be like all the other men in her life who just want sex with her. He wants to give her back the past so she can experience dating and meeting someone special. He gives her flowers and tells her he wants to start over again with her. They hug.
Sami tells Marlena she'll legally divorce her if she tries to interfere in her life. Marlena tells her therapist how worried about her she is. The therapist tells her of a young man who student services referred to him (Alan) and that this guy, who wouldn't give his name is obsessed with a girl (Carrie) and he's worried about what this guy could do. He asks Marlena is she'll see this young man.
Austin goes to see Kate and she asks him lots of questions about his life. She offers him a weekly column to write for Bella about his and Jenn's show. He's excited but worried that Billie will feel rejected by him. He tells Kate if she really wants to reach out to Billie, give her Countess Willhemina back. She says it's undergone too many changes since she took it over and it would be too much for Billie to manage. He says he feels he can't do it to Billie to join Kate's company because it would upset her too much. Lucas is mad that she made the offer at all and tells her there's not room for both him and Austin in the company.
Lexie goes to see Jonah for last minute tips on her interview for medical school. He isn't at home so she goes to Wendy's. Wendy answers the door and Lexie sees that Jonah is in her bed so she goes. Wendy doesn't tell Jonah Lexie came by. She is excited they're together but Jonah tells her he only wants to be friends so she pretends she only wants that too. Lexie is accepted to medical school and her and Abe go to the pub where Wendy pretends to Lexie that her and Jonah are an item and kisses him in front of her (why is Lexie so jealous anyway!!).
Kate's IVF file is moved to Salem so she can do it all there. David Caldwell rings to make another appointment time with her because the tape of their last session seems to be blank. She goes ballistic that he taped the session and fires him.
Lexie tells Abe she doesn't think Wendy is right for Jonah but Abe disagrees. Jonah does tell Lexie that he and Wendy are just friends. Wendy pretends to Jonah that last night (the night of the party most of which he can't remember because he was drunk) he promised to take her to a movie tonight so he says oh well if I promised...
Sami gets ready for the frat party that night with Alan. Alan bumps into the therapist (in Salem square where all professional meetings are conducted) who says there's another psychiatrist he wants Alan to see. He goes off to get Marlena but when Alan sees who he's going to get he takes off.
Austin and Carrie plan their trip to the snow. Roman and Marlena meet with their lawyers to split their possessions up. They share happy memories about things they bought together. Mickey tells them they don't really need divorce lawyers they need a marriage counsellor but Roman is determined to go ahead with the divorce.
Ivan tells Vivian that he listened to the rest of the tape which she didn't bother to listen to because she thought she'd heard all the juicy stuff. He tells her it reveals all of Kate's secrets.
Bo takes Billie on a date, pretending it's the 80s. She asks him about his first ever date and he tells her about it and how he ended up marrying the girl. She feels insecure about Hope but he tells her it's the present that's important.
Lucas goes to see Bill to ask him if he knew who his mother might have been seeing when she lived in Salem (he saw Bill's name down as his Mum's doctor after Curtis had beaten her once). Bill says he doesn't know, Lucas leaves and Bill says he can't do this anymore and runs after him.
John asks Marlena to hypnotise him to see if can remember details of where Stefano is hiding. Jenn has tea with Kristen, Tony and Peter are there and they arrange to leave Jenn and Peter alone but she tells him she can't see him anymore. Kristen asks her to think carefully about this as she's never seen Peter care for anyone like this before. Kristen prepares to go away to get away from all the stress. Peter and Tony don't realise she's heading for Maison Blanche.
Marlena sees Kate and Victor at the hospital where the doctor has told them he'll only try the IVF once. She warns Kate if she's so stressed it may not work.
Vivian gives the tape of Kate talking to David Caldwell to Fisher Andrews, a reporter for "The Intruder". Bill tells Laura he can't not tell Lucas he's his father. He says he truly loves her and he doesn't see why they can't all be happy. She decides to believe him. He asks her to go with him to the party that's being thrown to thank Kate and Victor for a large donation to the hospital. She says no but changes her mind after he leaves. At the party Lucas is still asking Kate to tell him who his dad is but she tells him this isn't the time to talk about it. Kate talks to Bill on the balcony asking him not to tell Lucas the truth yet. They get locked on the balcony and while Bill comforts Kate Laura arrives. Vivian steers her to the balcony where she sees Bill and Kate and tells her Bill will never be truthful and that she should spill the beans on him tonight.
Marlena hypnotises John but he gets upset and she brings him out of it. She suggests a glass of wine to relax him. While he's getting wine Roman arrives to give her a photo he found of her and Belle which he didn't want to get smashed in the boxes. John and Marlena tell him they're trying to find out where Stefano's hiding by hypnotising John. John tells him Stefano rang him the other day and Roman finally believes he's alive so he stays for the hypnosis. John starts remembering a light in a window of a house (Maison Blanche).
At Maison Blanche Stefano sitting in a chair behind his desk facing the wall rather than the desk. He's gloating that soon it'll be just the two of them, him and John, when Kristen walks into the room calling out "Hello, is anybody there???".
