Roman refused to believe that Belle may not be his. He told his parents that there was no chance of this. They told Marlena of their suggetion that belle may be John's. Marlena sought Roman and explained that she had tests run to confirm that Roman was the father. She also told him the details of the affair. Roman ordered Marlena to leave the house and called her a slut.
Marlena encouraged John to win Kristen away from Tony. Kristen told Tony that she wanted to continue searching for the truth about John's past. When John and Kristen met in the park, Kristen refused to talk to him. John tried to convince Kristen that Stefano is the cause for all that happened to the Bradys and she said that there is no way that her father could ever cause that kind of pain to people.
Vivian is now in a catatonic state like Laura and she fantasised about getting revenge on Kate. She dreamed that she was living in the Kiriakis mansion and that Kate was her maid. Ivan tried to get into "sector H" to see Vivian but he couldn't get in with out permission. He later succeeded and told Viv that he was sleeping with Ann to get access to her ward and he noticed that Viv did not take her medication. Nurse Jackson told Ann that Ivan was visiting Viv and that she was suspicious of his motives.
Kate told Bo she slipped and fell on the ice and was not beaten. Lucas, Kate and Vic assured Bo that they were hiding nothing. Bo did not believe this and told Vic he could never think of him as a father if Vic had lied to him. Vic was quite distressed but relieved that Bo had no way of connecting them to the murder. Bo said to Victor that he had many chances to get close to him but he blew it.
A cop told Bo that the trace on the $100 bill showed it came from a cash payment to Titan.
Roman again ordered Marlena to move out of the house. She refused saying that she was not ready to give up on their marriage. She asked him if he still loved her and he answered: "god help me, I do". Roman returned home and was angry to find Marlena still there. He told her he wanted Sami and Belle to stay with him and for her to leave.
John confronted Stefano in his hospital room saying that he was not giving up on Kristen. Stefano warned him to stay away. John attacked Stefano but was pulled away by Peter. Later John noticed that the guard outside Stefano's room was gone. He questioned a nurse who explained that Stefano had been discharged. Peter explained that he had the charges against Stefano dropped and that Stefano was leaving the hospital. Stefano told John top stay away from Kristen or his next bombshell would cause more pain.
Billie visited Kristen and Billie told Kristen that she was afraid Bo would reject her if he learned about her past. Kristen confided in Billie that she was in love with John but she was putting that behind her. Kristen asked Billie to be a bridesmaid at her wedding.
Bo questioned Victor's accountant who confirmed that the 100 note came from a large sum of money requested by Kate and that the money came back one hundred dollars short. Kate said the money was for a business deal and Lucas claimed he stole some money from the safe. Bo was suspicious of their explanations.
Jennifer was awoken by noises downstairs. There was an intruder in the house but was scared away by Peter who came to visit. Jennifer was grateful that Peter had stopped by.
Tony and Kristen had diiner and Tony surprised her by telling her that Stefano was joining them and was out of hospital.
John tells Roman and Marlena that Stefano is without a police guard and out of hospital. Marlena leaves and goes to restaurant. In near hysteria she tells Stefano to leave her and her family alone. While Tony and Kristen are ringing Roman to collect Marlena, Stefano threatens her and Belle. She falls to her knees and begs Stefano not to hurt Belle. Kristen sees this and is confused by the expression on Stefano's face.
At the brady house, John trie to apologise to Roman but Roman attacks John. They are broken up by Sami. John goes to retaurant. Roman tells Sami that he wants custody of her and Belle. ami is upset by this news. John takes Marlena from the restaurant and tells John that he wishes Stefano were dead. Stefano tells Peter that he is worried about what Kristen saw while he was threatening Marlena.
Vivian, who has regained the ability to talk, told Ivan that Ann drrugged her and told Ivan to find out more about what was happening at Pinehaven. Ivan overheard Ann and Nurse Jackson talking about over medicating patients to get more money from the patient's families including Laura's family. He also overheard their plans to give Viv shock therapy. Jenniferr, visiting her mother, saw Ivan and told Jackson that he worked for Vivian.
Mickey told Bo and Billie that the trial was scheduled to start the next day. Bo asked Mickey to talk to the judge to postpone it and later he told them it was moved back 48 hours.
Peter and Stefano moved into Shane Donovan's old house. Stefano is still worried that kristen may have seen him smiling at Marlena's pain. Tony questioned Stefano as to why Marlena had behaved so strangely. Kristen confided in Billie that she was unsure about Stefano after he seemed to be enjoying Marlena begging.
Stefano told Marlena to get John to back off Kristen or else he would go after Belle. Marlena told John of Stefano's threat and that he must choose what to do.
Jennifer rang Jack's lawyer and asked for Jack to ring her. Peter invited Jen to go skiing.
Ann told Vivian that she knew that Ivan worked for her. Ann had Jackson send Ivan on an errand away from Pinehaven and prepared Viv for shock therapy. When the equipment short circuited, Ann told Jackson to get the doctor to perform a lobotomy. Ann began shaving Viv''s head for the operation.
Alan invited Lucas to go skiiing. Kate encouraged him to go. At Salem Place, Sami told Lucas that Carrie was skiing at greenmount and Lucas convinced Alan to go there. Sami had also told Lucas that Austin and Carrie had broken up.
Kate detroyed all the clothes she was wearing the night of Curtis's murder. She was about to destroy the shoe but believed that no one notices shoes so kept them in the wardrobe. Mary, the maid, was suspicious of Kate's actions.
Bo told Billie that he had tried to get Pat Hamilton to move the trial back but he wouldn't. He invited her to spend the night on the boat. They fell asleep on the deck.
Austin told Carrie that he loved her and convinced her to give their relationship another chance. She agreed and decided to go skiing. Alice aked Jennifer if she was prepared to give her marriage another chance. She told Alice that she was expecting Jack to ring her. Peter again invited Jen to go skiing. Final divorce papers arrived from Jack. Jen was angry and took off her wedding ring and told Alice she was going with Peter.
Billie awakens on the beach not realising where she is or how she got there. Bo tells her that uring the night the boat drifted and they were washed up on this island. Bo and Billie spent the day frolicking on the beach and swimming. Bo gave Billie a shell. At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Billie had dreamed the whole thing but she seemed to think the shell had something to do with Curtis' murder.
Jen surprised Peter by turning up at Green Mountain ski resort. They spent the day skiing together and Peter invited Jen to go moonlight skiing with him. Carrie and Austin arrived at Greenmount and were surprised to find only one bed in the room. Carrie told Austin it didn't matter and that she wanted to make love with him. Lucas and Alan got into a fight over Carrie.
At Pinehaven Vivian, with a shaved head, was about to be lobotomised when A power failure distracted Ann and the doctors. Ivan gave Laura some medication to restore Laura's speech. Laura and Ivan rescued Viv as a fire started in the wards. Viv instruccted Ivan to help the other patients, leaving Viv and Laura trapped inside. Laura and Viv fought Ann and Nurse Jackson but were still trapped by the fire.
Jen rang Pinehaven and heard about the fire. Unable to find Peter, she asked Austin to take her to the airport. Leaving Carrie alone, she was visited by an unknown person in a ski mask.
