ENDUSTING!!!!
(Friday 26th September 1997 in NZ)
Jack manages to scare off Tony by flashing his press card and pretending he is a cop. Tony leaves and is apparently coming back in a couple of weeks. Jack and Billie decide that two heads are better than one and they will work on getting the money.
Bo is at the plane and wants to know why Carly sent him the blood. She says she is sick of the lies yadda, yadda, yadda. Bo tries to get the truth out of Carly about Lisanne's death but when she won't give he tells her it is too late for them. He says he is not leaving the plane until he arrests someone for Lisanne's murder as he now has proof with the blood matching the skin in the stone cat. Lawrence says that Lisanne used to sit near the cat a lot and Bo observed that she wasn't known to pick up the statue and hit herself on the head with it. (Nice visual there ;0)) Of course he wants to talk to Nikki. To save Nikki any pain Lawrence, the hero that he is (not) confesses to Bo that he murdered Lisanne. Somehow then Bo has trouble believing him, even though this is what he has been after the whole time. Apparently he thinks that Lawrence would have knifed her or shot her but not bludgeoning her to death with a kitty cat. SO anyway, eventually he arrests Mr. Alamain and takes him off to the station, leaving Carly to weep and tremble her lower lip for a few more scenes as she moans about what she has lost while Viv smirks triumphantly in the corner (if planes have corners that is).
Vic meets up with Caroline on the pier and they talk about John both are worried about him. Vic thinks he is lonely and needs to find a new woman and a mother for Brady. Caroline thinks that that will happen when he is ready. Vic thinks he is ready and there is someone but he is not at liberty to say who (wise move Vic ol' boy). But he is going to try and get them together, he just has to find the best way. Later he has one f his men deliver an invitation to the Titan party to Roman and Marlena. Then he goes to the pub and gives Caroline and John invites too ..
Roman and John have one of their little spats over John being too intrusive in Carrie's life. Then Roman heads home where Marlena has set up a lovely romantic dinner for them. Roman thinks there must be a reason but Marlena asks if she can't just have dinner with him. They talk about Carrie and Roman tells Mar about how Carrie turned to John and says he can't help but feel a little jealous of John sometimes. Marlena says he has no reason to be jealous of him but Roman says when Carrie would rather go to John and he bids $100,000 for a dance with Roman's wife he can't help it. Marlena obviously shaken says she thought that they'd been through that. Roman says he knows but sometimes he can't help it. Well they decide to stop talking about it (Mar's usual avoidance tactics). They get an invite to Vic’s party for the relocation of Titan publishing, they discuss that over dinner, Roman very *unkeen* to grace the event with his presence, and then they head upstairs to bed.

Starts with Marlena in the shower. John steps in behind her and begins to nibble on her earlobe. She thinks it's Roman - 'til she opens her eyes and sees John's arm. She tells him she can't do this but he says that she can't resist this, just like he can't resist it and it seems like he's pretty well on the mark. She surrenders to his kiss just as Roman's voice wakes her up. He says it must have been a pretty great dream and she says she can't tell him about it. Anyway he heads off to work and she gets a call from Vic asking her to come down for a meeting. After talking to Sami, she goes to his place and arrives just as his PA shepherds John up the stairs. Vic offers her a job writing a column for Bella and she tells him she'll think about it. She leaves and John comes back down and smells her scent, letting Vic know that he is on the right track. She goes and has lunch with Sami and meets Roman later. They argue about the job, she thinks it would be good, Roman doesn't want her to take it.

All I can tell you is that Jack and Jenn were in it, as was Billie. Carrie, Austin and Sami - Carrie and Austin are going to the Titan party and Sami has grabbed Caroline and Shawn's invite and is going with Jonah. Oh yeah - Carrie is freaking out over the whole sex scene after Austin told her he went and had a blood test and was HIV negative. She even asked Jonah about it. The Carly/Bo/Vivian/Lawrence/Nikki saga continues but frankly I am sick to death of the whole thing and just wish they would go away.

Vic talks John into joining the board of Bella, telling him he hasn't finalised the other members yet.
There was more Lawrence/Carly crap - Lawrence tells her to get the kid to Europe but as she's preparing to leave I think it's Roman who asks her to come down to the station as they need her help.
In the main portion of the show (for me anyway ;0) Carrie tells Marlena that she is going away for the weekend with Austin. She seems to be not totally sure about the whole thing and tells Mar that she is afraid that she is not good enough for Austin. Marlena tells her that every young girl feels like that on her first time and that if she is just herself that will be good enough. She tells Carrie that no birth control is 100% effective and that she has to be aware of the risks and responsibilities of an unplanned pregnancy. This is one of the all-time *great* Marlena and Carrie scenes. Unfortunately Roman arrives home just in time to hear them agree that they don't have to tell him where Carrie is going. He and Carrie have a big fight and she leaves. So then he and Marlena have an all-out fight which is something else. He is paged by the office in the middle of it and Victor calls her to ask if she will accept the job. She tells Roman she wants to and he tells her he doesn't know why she's asking him - she'll do what she wants to do anyway. He goes to the station and Marlena calls Victor to accept his offer. Of course this means she will have to go to the Titan Party......

Billie and Jack do their manuscript thing....too tired to summarise.
Austin gets accosted by Gus once again, but tears up the contract and gets into a scuffle with Gus and his lackey. John breaks it up and tells Austin that if he has any more trouble with Gus to come to him. Later Gus gets hold of some acid...if he is going down, then so is Austin.
Lawrence confesses to accidentally killing Lisanne and makes bail. Carly tries to tell Bo she never meant to hurt him.....blah blah blah....
Carrie goes to check on Marlena and meets up with Sami outside. Sami asks Marlena if she and Roman have made up yet. Marlena says no but they will. She explains to them about the job and the magazine and that she's going to the party tonight. Carrie leaves and Sami tells her mother that it scares her when she and Roman fight. Marlena says she knows but there's nothing to worry about - it's perfectly normal and she and Roman love each other very much. They decide to go to lunch at the pub.
At the pub itself Carrie arrives to meet Austin and they head off to get ready for the party. John heads over to the jukebox and selects a tune - Anita Baker's Rapture. Marlena divests herself of Sami thanks to Jonah on the way to the pub and walks in to hear Rapture filling the room. She turns immediately to the source of the music and is shocked but not surprised to find it is John. She walks slowly to the back of the pub but when she drops her purse John instantly knows she is in the room and turns to face her. Her face slightly flushed, she turns away from his insistent gaze and drops into a seat as thought her legs will no longer hold her. Her mind takes her back and she visualizes a night when she and RoJohn lay in front of a fire....they are kissing (and boy are they kissing) until Marlena breaks it off to pick up a strawberry from a dish next to them. She gently places it in his mouth but before he can bite into it, she places her finger over his mouth, wanting him to wait. With a smile she dips her fingers into the whipped cream which accompanies the strawberries and sensuously wipes it around his lips. Leaning towards him she slowly licks the cream from his mouth until she envelops her in a passionate kiss. His mouth disappears down her neck as she moans and calls out Roman before a final whimper. Their kisses become more and more heated as the memory fades and John and Marlena's eyes are drawn together across the pub. As John lifts his fingers to his mouth, Marlena rises and hastily leaves the pub, only stopping once outside to lean on the pillar to catch her breath and her strength.
She goes straight home but is surprised by Roman who is already there. He wants to make up and have a quiet night together, but she has to tell him that she took the job and must go to the party. He walks out on her before he says something he will regret, leaving her hurt and angry in the living room. Later She comes down the stairs in that glorious purple gown to tell Roman she is leaving. He tells her she looks beautiful and she says she'd feel even prettier on his arm. He won't go however and even when she leaves him an invitation he screws it up after she leaves......

ENDUSTING!!!!
Everyone heads off to the Titan Party. The finalists are announced for the face of the nineties and Carrie is shocked to discover that she is one of them. Upon introduction to Austin Sami discovers her crush is actually Carrie's boyfriend and disappears to the lower levels of the Titan building. Carrie and Austin decide to head out to the cabin but as they are leaving the party, Gus rushes up and throws the acid. Carrie pushes Austin out of the way and catches up in the face...
Meanwhile Bo actually manages to put all the pieces together (after how many months?) and realizes that it was Nikki that killed Lisanne. Meanwhile Carly is none too thrilled to discover that Lawrence set her up when he arrives at the plane, but she decides to go anyway. Hero that Bo is he chases after the plane that is taxiing down the runway. The plane eventually stops, Bo pulls open the plane door and Carly leaps into his arms as he tells her that he knows the truth and slips the ring onto her finger.
Marlena makes it to the party and calls Roman. He tells her again that he won't be coming and cuts her off. She runs into John, who is surprised to see her without Roman. She tells him that Roman is coming but he tells her that she couldn't lie to him when they were married and she can't lie to him now. He tells her she looks beautiful and wants to talk to her, but all she wants to do is get far away and she tells him that if he loves her he won't touch her....ever again. She heads up in the elevator to the party but John soon catches up with her and spends most of his time trying to pursue her around the room without much success. Finally, when the photographers mistake them for Carrie's parents and husband and Wife, Marlena loses her cool and rushes from the room. John finds her down in the conference room. She says she needed sometime alone, he says he'll go but first there is something that he wants to say to her. He gives her the Zen speech and tells her that 'that's how it all started, with one man that woke up'. He tells her that's how she makes him feel, awake and alive and if nothing else comes out of this he just wants to thank her for that. He tells her that now he will go if she wants him to. He is so close he reaches out and touches her face. She is flushed, her chest rising and falling as she tries to steady her breaths. He asks her again if that is what she wants. Does she want him to go? Slowly she shakes her head, her eyes glittering with tears as he leans in and kisses her. They separate moments later and, her eyes wide, she leans back on the conference table, John lowering her carefully down to the polished surface. He joins her on the table for a spot a serious dusting (and moaning) as the door of the room slowly opens......
