Bo and another cop searched Billie's apartment and found a gun in Billie's drawer. Bo had no choice but to take Billie to the station for questioning. The gun had Billie's prints and no one else's on it. Billie had no memory of ever seeing the gun before and had no idea how it ended up in her drawer. She told Austin of her dream where she shot Curtis but he told her to forget about it.
Kristen fell and landed on a ledge a few metres lower down. She was fine, except for a twisted ankle. John went back to the cabin to get some rope. He climbed down and saved her. Kristen was grateful but told John that she was going ahead with her marriage to Tony. John seemed to accept this and asked if he could kiss her one last time. She agreed and they kissed passionately. He picked her up and carried her to the bed.
Carrie ran into Tony for the first time since he arrived back in Salem. He was pleased to see her and amazed at how much she had grown up. He wanted to buy her a coffee but she was on her way to Roman and Marlena's for Thanksgiving dinner and asked him to join her there. At the Brady house, Shawn was in the middle of talking about Stefano and how evil he is when Tony walked in. Marlena managed to convince Tony that their feelings for Stefano were different to their feelings for him and they still wanted to be friends with him. Tony stayed and later Marlena begged Tony to talk to Stefano to ask him to leave her, her family and John alone.
Caroline told everyone that a neighbour, Mrs Potter, had commented on the fact that Brady and Isabella looked like brother and sister. Caroline said that she had told Mrs Potter that they were not related. Sami panicked, knowing that they were related and that if more people saw this resemblance someone may figure out that John was Belle's father.
Kristen pushed John away saying she could not make love to him and that she was going to marry Tony. She made a deal with John, where if he could prove that Stefano was responsible for Curtis's murder and had lied to her, she would call off her wedding to Tony.
Jonah had a hearing before the medical school board. Wendy came along for moral support. Abe told the board how Jonah had broken the law and acted irresponsibly. Lexie spoke on Jonah's behalf, further estranging her from Abe. Tom Horton told Jonah the board would consider everything and let him know when they reached a decision. Later at his apartment, Lexie gave Jonah a supportive hug, which Wendy saw making her jealous.
Austin and Billie hired Mickey as Billie's lawyer. Mickey told them he would need to know everything about the murder. Billie told Mickey that she was on heroin that night and remembered nothing. Austin would not let her tell Mickey that Curtis gave her the heroin or that Curtis was their father. Later Billie realised that Austin did not have an alibi for the time Curtis was killed. She became determined not to say anything, afraid that if the truth came out, Austin would be a suspect.
A drug dealer told Roman and Bo that he sold two lots of drugs to Curtis that night. The first was cocaine ( which was in Curtis's system according to a toxicology report) and the second buy was heroin. Bo remembered the needle marks on Billie's arm. The initial ballistics report was inconclusive and a more accurate result would arrive in a couple of days.
Victor told Kate and Lucas that his sources had told him the police consider Billie to be the prime suspect in the Curtis Brown murder case. Victor told Kate that he wanted to help Billie but Kate was unimpressed. Vic also told Kate that he had visited Vivian and wanted to help her. He mentioned that Vivian was in Pinehaven and Kate panicked. She went to Pinehaven to make sure that Laura was still catatonic.
Ivan told Vivian that the staff were concerned that someone had been in Laura's room. They had found a screwed up magazine in there. Vivian realised that Laura had done it herself as it was a page with Kate's photo. Ivan told Viv that Kate had arrived and Vivian was hoping that Laura would react since the photo had caused a reaction. A nurse had just finished cutting Laura's hair and left a pair of scissors behind on a table near Laura and she stared at these scissors when Kate walked in.
Lucas remembered that he had shown Carrie a picture of Curtis the night he was murdered and worried that she may make the connection. He went to see her and found that she did not realise the man in the photo was the murdered man.
Carrie told Marlena that she would not come to Thanksgiving dinner as she was having it with Billie and Austin at their apartment. Marlena invited them all over to her house and they all agreed. Billie confided in Marlena that she could not remember anything from that night. Marlena suggested hypnosis but Billie rejected this idea. Bo told Marlena that he believed Billie to be innocent and wanted to prove it.
Kristen and Tony went to the Horton Centre to help the Horton's give a Thanksgiving dinner to the homeless people of Salem. While there, Maggie let it slip that Tony provided the funds to make it possible. Kristen was touched by Tony's generosity. Tom Horton led a prayer of thanks but seemed to experience some sort of chest pain.
John had a dream that Kristen came to him and told him she loved him and not Tony. Later Marlena invited John to join the Brady's at her house. He was to meet Victor and Kate later but agreed to stop by for a little while. His arrival at the house caused aggravation for Sami.
Victor found that Lucas had been issued a speeding ticket the night Curtis was murdered. Victor wanted to know why Lucas had gone out. Lucas admitted that he was out and told Victor when he returned he had noticed that Victor's car was warm, meaning that he had also been out.
Laura did not move or speak while Kate visited her. Laura looked at the scissors lying on the table but did not move. Kate was relieved that Laura was still catatonic. On her way out she saw Vivian. Kate lied saying she had wandered into Laura's room by mistake while looking for Viv. She told Viv that she had come to see her to wish her well. Later Viv told Ivan that she wanted to figure out why Laura had reacted to Kate's picture but did not react at all to her in person.
After Thanksgiving dinner, Bo and Billie went outside to talk and make a wish on the wishbone. Inside a policeman arrived with the ballistics report.
