Monday 1st November 1993

Kate is at Titan and tells Victor that she will meet him at the Grill soon. She gets into the elevator but Curtis puts his hand between the doors and jumps in there with her. He threatens her bodily and threatens to tell Victor the truth about Kate. Kate tells him to stay away from Victor and he says he might go to Lucas too. He tells her that she has to get him the money tonight and that he will find her anywhere, anytime. Kate convinces Victor to take her to the fair. She wants to see Mickey to find out about getting the Countess Wilhemina company. At the fair, she talks to Lucas and tells him to forget everything that she told him about her past. Then she sees Mickey and tells him to serve those papers on Billie tonight. Curtis dodges Peter at the fair and he finds Kate. She doesn't want to talk to him out in the open and takes him off. Austin is walking along with the video camera and sees Curtis's face in the viewfinder for a moment. He is unsettled as he thinks the face is familiar. Curtis threatens to hurt Kate if she doesn't give him the money and Lucas sees him pushing Kate around.
Bo finally breaks the kiss and Billie tells him the rules say a dollar a kiss. So she owes him nineteen more kisses. Bo says he hates to break the rules and goes in for another. A kid interrupts him and tells him not to hog all the time. Bo goes to talk to Caroline and tell her he's been a selfish jerk. He tells her he took advantage of Billie and he's not ready for love yet. However she talks to him about it and he goes and tried to invite Billie out to dinner. However, he gets interrupted by Mickey and leaves before asking her properly.
At the hospital Stefano wakes up and wants to know when they can schedule the wedding. Kristen tells them not before Valentines Day. Later she talks to Stefano and says she wants to be honest with Tony about her feelings for John.. Stefano tries to convince her not to. Later again, Stefano tells Peter that he has to find Curtis and get rid of him. Tony and Kristen head for the fair where John sees them. Tony goes off to make a call and John finds Kristen on the Ferris wheel. He jumps on with her and demands that she tell him all about she and Tony. (He doesn't seem to know Tony even though he has Roman's memories....) He wants to know why she was sleeping with him and getting engaged to Tony. Unfortunately for her (and us) the wheel breaks down again.
Carrie and Austin talk some at the fair....Lucas sulks because Carrie won't talk to him and she spends some time with Alan. Shawn Douglas tells Carrie that Bo is going to make up for not inviting Billie out and she follows him to see Bo give (through Mickey) Billie flowers. Shawn Douglas tells Carrie he has a plan to get them together, but he needs her help.
Tuesday 2nd November 1993
(Monday 15th June 1998 in New Zealand)
Peter comes across Curtis but Abe chases them before he can do anything. Later, back at the station, Abe gets a print match on the pacifier prints. It's *not* good news.
Kate gives Curtis all the money she has on her and tells him that she will call him later. She leaves and Lucas confronts him about what he was talking to Kate about. Curtis doesn't say anything and Lucas goes home and gets an old box of Kate's stuff from the attic. He finds a picture of Kate and Curtis. Kate tells him to destroy the picture and tells him she never wants him to talk about it again. Lucas sees that she's shaking and wants to know if she's seen Curtis lately. She says no. Later she calls Mickey and tells him she's desperate for the money...he has to serve those papers on Billie tonight.
Carrie and Shawn-D decide to throw a party to get Bo and Billie together (it's ostensibly for Bo's birthday). Granpa Victor is going to spring for it. The theme for the party is romance....and Bo and Billie are to go as Romeo and Juliet.
Tony finds Marlena at the fair and says hello to her. He tells Marlena that he's engaged. John and Kristen come off the Ferris wheel and Marlena sees Kristen's engagement ring. She thinks its John's until Kristen tells her she's engaged to Tony. She's stunned as John introduces himself to Tony. Tony obviously is not enamoured of John and he and Kristen leave. John tells Marlena that Kristen says she loves both of them. He asks her if that's possible...(UM DUH!). She tells him it is, of anyone she should know that... She heads off back home and John sulks at the stalls throwing balls..... Kristen and Tony go back to the hotel and talk about John, Kristen tries to convince Tony that John is not as bad as Stefano tries to make out. They talk more but I didn't watch it. Back at the now empty fair, John is sulking even more.
Wednesday 3rd November 1993
(Tuesday 16th June 1998 in NZ)
Mickey serves the papers on Billie and tells Billie he saw a stranger outside. She realizes that it was Curtis and goes down to see him. Curtis gives her one of the pieces of Kristen's jewelry to wear to the party but tells her it's not stolen, it's a fake. Billie goes to buy a dress but finds that her Countess Wilhemina checkbook has been frozen so she buys some material and a pattern. Only problem is she can't sew.
Lexie and Jonah stop by to see Marlena and Belle. (Cute moment when Jonah tells the 'guys' that he has to go cram for an exam, Marlena tells him they're not guys ;0>) He goes and Lexie gives Marlena a gift for Belle and Marlena asks Lexie to be Belle's godmother. Lexie ends up telling Marlena she's the Pacifier. She is not sure that Abe will ever be able to forgive her. Marlena tells Lexie there is something she has been keeping from Roman and she wishes she had told him after it first happened. Later she calls the station but Roman is busy. Sami wants to know why she called Roman and Marlena tells her that she can't keep the truth from him any longer. She has to tell him about the affair and then they can get on with their lives. She tells Sami she didn't sleep with John because she didn't love Roman, but because she and John still love each other. She says that they buried their feelings when Roman came back, but not deep enough. Sami can't believe she wants to tell Roman, she tells Marlena the truth will devastate him. Marlena doesn't think it will, she thinks Roman loves her enough to get past this. Sami tells her that she won't get well if Marlena tells Roman. Marlena tells her she can't give into her emotional blackmail any more (if only). Marlena tells Sami that she thinks Roman will be able to handle it if it comes from her...but not anyone else. She tells Sami that secrets have a way of getting out. Sami goes over to Belle's crib and looks down at her. Then she looks up at Marlena and tells Marlena not this secret. This secret's never getting out.
At the station they have re-tested the prints. They're Lexie's. Roman comes across a picture of Curtis in the Stefano's stuff but doesn't recognize him. Abe has to tell Roman and Bo that Lexie is The Pacifier. Bo suggests that Abe 'lose' the report. Abe and Roman are astounded. Lexie arrives at the station and Bo and Roman leave the room. Jonah arrives and sees Abe and Lexie talking. Abe tells Lexie that they got a make on the prints...they were hers.
Thursday 4th November 1993
(Wednesday 17th June 1998 in NZ)
Vivian is going to sneak into Laura's room when she hears Jenn's voice. Jenn is bringing Abby to see her grandmother. Jenn talks to Laura about Kate Roberts. Viv overhears her telling Laura that Kate used to live on Copperlantern drive in their house. Jenn leaves and Vivian goes in to see Kate. She mentions Kate's name and gets no response. She goes to walk out but the vase of flowers that Jenn brought smashes on the floor.
Lexie admits to Abe that she is the Pacifier. Abe tells Roman and Bo to go home and then asks Lexie who her partner is. She insists that she was working alone. Roman goes home and tells Marlena and tells her he can't believe Lexie could betray Abe like that. He doesn't understand how anyone can do that to someone they love. Jonah comes back to the station while Abe is off seeing the commissioner. Lexie tells him that she confessed and that she didn't implicate him. She says if Abe finds out Jonah was involved it will kill him. They turn around to find Abe at the door, but he didn't overhear them. He tells Jonah that they need his help to get through this. Jonah says he will do whatever it takes. Abe asks Lexie to hand in her badge
Billie makes a hash of the dress but then Alice turns up. She tells Billie she will help her find something in her wardrobe. Billie comes out looking frumpy and Alice gives her a bag and tells her to try this on. Alice tells Carrie that she went over and borrowed Maggie's machine...as a last resort.
More Kate/Lucas/Victor stuff. Kate goes to Marlena and tells her that Curtis is back. Marlena asks Kate what she's going to do, this is blackmail. Kate says she is going to pay him off. Marlena tells her that if she does, Curtis will just keep coming back. Kate tells her she knows...that's part of the reasoning she came to see her, she keeps thinking that the only way to get rid of him is to kill him. And that's what she swears she'll do if he threatens her family. Marlena tells her she could never kill anyone. Kate says she hopes to god Marlena is right. Marlena advises her to tell Victor about it all, she might be surprised how understanding he will be. Kate says it's not a matter of that...it's a matter of being able to face him again. She leaves and Marlena tells her to call her any time. Meanwhile, Lucas searches down a stoned Curtis but Curtis runs. Kate arrives at the party, she and Victor are dressed as Bonnie and Clyde. She spots Marlena and Roman, dressed as Cleopatra and Antony (WOO-HOO! How rocking do THEY look?) Later, Bo arrives and then Billie as Juliet dressed in a gorgeous costume....
Friday 5th November 1993
(Thursday 18th June 1998 in New Zealand)
Stefano and Peter arrange to have Curtis found. Stefano says that by tonight he will be out of the picture.
The party continues. Curtis calls Kate and tells her he's on the fourth floor. She goes to meet him and he demands his money. She promises she'll get him the money tonight and she arranges to meet him at the apartment building at midnight. However Lucas follows her and overhears and Victor oversees them on the security monitor. However, later Kate discovers that Billie still has three days to call in the loan so she asks Victor to give her $100,000.
John finds one of Kristen's earrings and flashes back to a time they were together. He takes the earring to Kristen who was just looking for it and she tells him she's happy with Tony. John goes to the party dressed as Count Dracula. He doesn't stay long and when he gets home, he finds Curtis in the living room. Curtis offers to tell him things about the DiMera's that Kristen doesn't know. But it will cost him. John tells him he doesn't deal with the likes of him but Curtis gives him his address. John sits and thinks about it for a while and changes his mind.
Carrie and Austin talk and Austin thinks Carrie is very cynical about love. She tells him she is just protecting herself, she doesn't want to be his girl among other girls. She asks where Brandee is and he wants to know what she's talking about.
Billie goes out on the balcony and she prays. She knows if she is to have a future with Bo, she has to tell him the truth about Curtis. Bo follows her out to the balcony at the Grill and they kiss. He tells her he's confused and she tells him she isn't, she has feelings for him and she'll wait. He says he can always count on her to be completely honest. She leaves and tells him she'll be back. However Ozzie turns up and tells Bo that they have made a positive id on the gunman and gives him the picture of Curtis. Bo says that they are wrong, Billie couldn't id him. Ozzie tells him the id was definite, Billie must be lying. Billie meanwhile goes to see Curtis and tells him she has to tell Bo the truth. Curtis wants to know about her love for her old man. She tells him she's made a decision about who she loves more, she's sorry. She goes to leave, but Curtis yanks her back and starts yelling at her.
