Lawrence is still sulking over the whole Carly saga. He know that it doesn't add up. Lisanne manages to relieve his "tensions" but he throws her out of his room afterward. She vows to Zeus that she will beat Carly and be Mrs. Lawrence Alamain. Meanwhile sulky Viv escapes the house for a while and goes to see Victor who is also sulking, but for a more valid reason. She tells him her own petty problems but Vic (funnily enough) doesn't want to hear them. Vivian consoles him in a surprisingly touching scene.
Kim comes home after Phillip has been looking for her. He questions her but she says she has been driving. Shawn arrives with the kids and he and Phillip talk about how oddly Kim has been behaving.
Molly decides that she's *ready* and tells Tanner.
Marlena goes down to the clinic and Roger shows her the painting that he has just completed. He tells her that he owes it all to her. Without her he never would have given up drinking. She tells him he did it himself. Later he calls Stella and tells her he should be coming home in a couple of days. He tells her how great Dr. Evans has been and then tells her he loves her. She is surprised and later suspicious because he has never said that to her on the phone before. Jesse sees a picture of Marlena on the table which is smashed. Stella tells him she did it accidentally and she brought it home to have it fixed. Truth is, she did it on purpose and she's getting more and more unstable as each day progresses.
Molly and Tanner woke up together and declared their undying love. Later Molly met with Carrie and told her all about it.
Lawrence accosted Carly about the baby again. She mentioned that it wasn't his. He also accosted Bo who didn't know that he knew. Later Bo met up with Carly and had a big sulk-fest. Lawrence decided to go to Paris to find the truth and Lisanne decided to go with him.
Victor gave Vivian an ultimatum, take their affair public or end it. She came back after a while and told him that she didn't entirely trust him. He appreciated her honesty and told her he didn't entirely trust her either. Vivian decided that the handwriting was on the wall, it was over, except for one small problem. She's fallen in love with him. She kissed him and left.....
Phillip is making a public service announcement for the med-van and he has Molly starring in it. Before the shoot, he is at home with Kim and the kids when Shane arrives home from his stay at the clinic (Boy! Was that quick or *what*!?) He is walking with only a cane now - no braces on his legs. When Shane and Andrew go outside to play cricket, Phillip suggests to Kim that she and the kids stay in Salem a while longer while he is producing his new movie. She agrees and tells Andrew and Shane after Phillip is gone. Shane says they have to celebrate and the get ready to go out. However they can't find a baby-sitter and Phillip is staying late at work to get the editing done. They stay home and Shane is surprised when Kim has a neat bourbon or two. When Phillip comes home and after everyone but Kim has headed up to bed, her alters start talking to her again.
Stella and Roman are in the office when Marlena and Roger arrive back. Roman doesn't seem overly pleased and Stella is just being crazy Stella. Marlena tells them that she wants to have a family session with them this afternoon and Roger and Stella leave the office. Marlena confronts Roman about his lack of enthusiasm for her homecoming. She says that she really is glad to be home and he tells her that she'll have to prove it to him. She walks around the desk to his chair and tilts his head back. She plants a big one on him ;0) and then leaves the office. (I still can't believe they have killed him off!) Outside Roger is talking to Stella. He tells her that he is going to get back to his painting. Marlena has done so much for him, he doesn't want to disappoint her or let her down now. They go to the counselling session but Jesse is not very receptive towards the change in Roger. Afterward Stella goes down to the mall and sees Carrie. Carrie ends up inviting them round to dinner. But she has no money so she has to make another bet. Previous to this, Austin's friend Tim had told her that Austin had informed him that he and Carrie were just friends. He asks her out and in an attempt to make Austin jealous, Carrie agrees. When she gets back to the flat, she and Jesse decide to ask Roman and Marlena too, since Marlena can handle Roger so well. She calls Marlena and Marlena is surprised when Roman agrees to go. Later he tells her that he wants her to give up her job at the station and go back to her private practice. Back at the flat, Carrie gets a call from Tim who wants to go out with her tomorrow night. Since she is having the folks over for dinner, she asks him to join them and he agrees. Roger goes back to see Stella at the office. He re-iterates his desire to not let Marlena down but when he leaves, Stella loses her cool and sweeps everything off her desk while muttering Marlena's name.....
John and Isabella arrived back from John Hopkins with little more than they started with. The second and third opinions agreed with Carly but John still refuses to accept it. Isabella sends him out to the hospital to pick up a prescription. Down at the hospital Bo tells Marlena the bad news. She can't believe it but Isabella calls there to ask her to talk to John. Isabella admits that she has always been jealous of the closeness John has with Marlena but now she thanks god for it because it is how John will get through. Marlena tells her she will do everything she can to help Isabella and John through this. She sees John later on and hugs him but John is closed off, refusing to believe that Isabella could possibly die. When Carrie comes by later on to borrow some money (she lost on her bet) Marlena tells her. (Great scene between these two.) Bo stops by to see Isabella and gives her the medal that Roman gave him. He tells her it's for her battle. She tells him her battle is to let go. Later on Jack stops by the loft to ask for some pointers on parenthood and Isabella tells him. She asks him not to tell Jenn though until she comes home. Marlena goes down to find Roger in his studio. He tells her he is working more hours to buy some canvases and paints. She goes away and comes back with some canvases for him. She tells him that she'll see him at Carrie and Jesse's tonight. Methinks maybe Stella isn't being so paranoid after all...
Roman finds Bo later on as Marlena has called him. He gives Bo his support and then he goes to see Marlena at the hospital He tells her he knows how John must be feeling because he knows how he would feel if he ever lost her. :0( When John gets home he brings a holistic practitioner with him. After the doc leaves he tells Isabella that they are going to fight it and if she gets too tired to fight it, he will fight it for her.
John has another specialist lined up and he's just flown in from Seattle. He goes off to see this doctor.
Marlena and Roman are getting ready for dinner at Carrie's when Marlena gets a phone call from Isabella. She asks Marlena if she could come over to the loft for a few minutes. She does and they hug for a few minutes with Marlena telling Isabella that she will do whatever she can for her. Isabella tells her that she doesn't know what to do about John. She knows that there is no chance for her and that she wants to spend the time she has left with her family, not with doctors. Marlena tells her to tell John this and tells her that John will cope - he is strong and he will have to come out of denial sometime anyway. Isabella tells her that she will think about what she has said. When John comes back he tells her that the doctor wants to admit Isabella to hospital tomorrow. Isabella refuses, saying that she can't leave Brady and then tells John that she doesn't want to see any more doctors. She tells him that she knows she is going to die and she wants to spend the time she has left with her family. John is crying and tells her that she is braver than he is and he has been lying to himself. Eventually they make plans to go to the park tomorrow.
Marlena sends over a dessert to Carrie's which puts Stella's to shame, or so Stella thinks. They have a nice dinner, all except Stella who thinks Marlena is trying to show her up. When they get home Roger tells her that she's taking it wrong. He asks her to come to bed and she says she'll follow him. However she pulls the picture of Marlena out of the drawer and scores three lines through her face with a pair of scissors.
Kim's behaviour is becoming more and more obviously strange to both Phillip and Shane. Shane finds Kim's red sports car down at Casey's roadhouse but can't see her in there. When he comes out it is gone. When he gets home she is there and he asks her about it. She loses it and tells him he has no right questioning her about where she has been....
