The party at the Brady pub continues. Taylor is telling Roman a cop
story when Marlena arrives. Taylor is a little miffed when Roman
splits. Later on Roman, Bo Marlena and Carly present Shawn and Caroline
with a gold tankard which reads ŒLive all the Days of your Life‚. They
tell them it‚s because they have taught them how to live ŒAll the Days
of our Lives‚. Roman is called away to a murder scene (Randy the Biker)
and finds a pearl necklace in the fallen (!) leaves.
Meanwhile Lacey has departed the scene and packed up all the Œbad
things‚. She has taken them back to the house and hidden them in the
attic. When Kim comes to, she discovers a large bruise on her chest and
can‚t remember how it got there. She goes down to the pub but collapses
there. Marlena and Tom work out that she‚s been taking too much of her
medication. Back at the Manor she vows to find out what really happened
to her tonight.
Bo throws another Alamain-induced tantrum and goes out to get some air.
At the pier he discovers Billie purchasing some Ecstacy and arrests
her. (How bright are these people - a drug deal in the busiest place in
Salem?) Later when Carly finds him (down at the pier again) (?) he‚s
all lovey-dovey again......
Roger gets home and collapses on the living room floor. Stella finds
him there and works out the bleedin‚ obvious. Never mind Roger, she‚ll
take care of you....
Carrie is busy angsting over Austin, Austin is angsting over Carrie.
(Gee, nothing‚s changed then....) Tim tells them to leave him out of
their little games and Austing follows Carrie down to the (other) pier.
She angsts some more. She cares about him but she has lost all her self
confidence because that is what she always does. But she won‚t do it
any more. And he doesn‚t like her - he‚s told Tim that right? Wrong.
He plants one on her but she pulls away and tells him he‚s not being
fair. He mutters something along the lines of Œif only things were
different‚. (Gee nothing *has* changed has it....) and tells her he‚s
taking her home....
Tuesday 29th September 1992
Wednesday 7th May 1997
Shane sees the bruising on Kim's chest. She lies and tells him she
walked into a door. (Yeah, right.) He takes her down to the hospital
where Marcus can‚t find anything wrong with her. They decide that the
mood swings etc. can be attributed to the medication. Shane takes her
home but alone in her bedroom she finds a bloodstained matchbook from
Casey‚s Roadhouse.
Stella wakes Roger and tells him everything is going to be alright.
When she hears him calling Marlena she isn‚t happy. She goes to work
and Marlena meets Roger down at the warehouse. He tells her that he got
wasted last night. She apologizes for what happened saying she feels
somehow responsible. He absolves her saying it was he who took the
drink. She tells him that in light of what has happened she can no
longer be his doctor. Later she stops by the station to see Roman
before seeing a patient there. She tells him that she is no longer
treating Roger. When Roman asks why, she tells him that he was right -
she was getting too emotionally involved. When she goes to see the
patient Roman goes down to Casey‚s as he had found a matchbook at the
victim‚s apartment. He discovers Roger was there. After seeing the
patient Marlena stops by to see Stella and discuss Roger. Stella is
incensed and tells her that she thinks she knows everything about
Roger. Marlena says that she knows where he is now, he‚s at the
warehouse trying to get back into his art. Stella jumps up and leaves
saying if he wants inspiration *she* will be the one to give it to him.
When she gets to the warehouse however, he‚s not there. Marlena‚s red
dress is though and Stella discovers the painting is a portrait of
Marlena. She loses it and grabs a knife to slash the painting. She
can‚t bring herself to though and her eyes finally alight back on the
dress. Giggling insanely she pours a bottle of acetone onto the dress
ruining it....
Wednesday 30th September 1992
Thursday 8th May 1997
Roger arrives at the station while Marlena is still there. She has been
talking to Roman about the murder and she kisses him and leaves. Roman
asks Roger about Randy Houston the murder victim. Roger remembers
seeing him and how offensive he was. He also remembers the woman that
was there but not her name. He goes back down to the warehouse and sees
Marlena‚s ruined dress. He phones her and she says that‚s okay, she‚ll
just wear a different dress. She has decided to continue with the
portrait. Later Roger remembers something but when he phones the
station Roman is not there. Stella passes the message on but when Roman
gets down to the warehouse all he finds are the remains of Marlena‚s
dress. Marlena talks to Stella at the station but Stella snaps at her
and basically acts very psycho. Roger arrives back at the warehouse and
tells Roman what he‚s remembered....not that I can remember what that
is....but Roman doesn‚t ask him about the dress. He waits till he meets
Marlena down at the pub and asks her. She tells him that they wanted to
surprise him with a portrait, but now the surprise is ruined.
There was Kim stuff which I really didn‚t follow all that closely.
Austin bailed Billie out of jail and then yelled at her in front of
Carrie‚s apartment. Carrie came out with Tim, they‚ve decided to give
it another try...Austin took Tim off for a talk and told him to stay
away from Carrie. With her father being the police Captain she could
blow it for them. Tim refused to stop seeing her. Meanwhile Carrie
took Billie in and Billie sucked up to her...
Oh yes, Jennifer and Jack arrived home. Tom and Alice told Jenn about
Isabella and she went over to see her. Isabella, looking not all that
well decided that she would throw Jennifer a baby shower. Jack told
Jenn they have been thrown out of their apartment and they are going to
stay with the Hortons for a while. John bought a video camera so they
can make tapes for Brady.

Yep, this was a truly memorable episode. NOT.
Kim did some more angsting over the things she couldn‚t remember like
the bloodsoaked matchbook and the mysterious key that keeps turning up
in her bag. By the end of the episode she was engaged in another
struggle for her sanity with Lacey...
John told Lawrence he was turning over the running of Ecosystems to Vic
and his attorneys in order to spend time with Isabella and Brady.
Lawrence told Lisanne to back off in her attempts to bring John down.
Lisanne suspected that Lawrence‚s hert might actually be thawing out.
She could be right the way he is becoming Œcousin‚ of the year with
Nikki.
Isabella spent her day planning Jenn‚s baby shower then went to the pub
where John had just enlisted Carolines help with looking after Brady.
Isabella had to pop a few pills to keep the side up. Nice to see John
call Caroline ŒMa‚ too.
Oh yeah, Carly made an appointment with the ob/gyn after she had a
discuussion with Marlena yesterday about her infertility fears. Her
worst fears however realized when tests revealed she had extensive
scarring of the fallopian tubes and may not be able to have children.
Bo told her he still loved her, kids or no kids. Awww......

Well, Roman asked Roger to draw a picture of the woman at the
roadhouse. He did but it wasn‚t exactly the spitting image of Kim.
However Roman did think that there was something slightly familiar about
the picture but he just couldn‚t put his finger on it.
Phillip came home and Kim realized her pearls were missing. He told her
not to worry about it. Later on he had a talk with Shane - the end
result being that he has decided to move Collier productions to Salem so
he can be with Kim and the kids full time. Shane in turn gets a call
from Tarrington begging him to make his decision about the case. At the
end of the episode Phillip takes Kim out to Casey‚s Roadhouse.....
The baby shower for Jenn went really well except that Isabella overtired
herself. She also told Tom that she wanted to make a bequest to the
hospital‚s cancer unit . When John took her home however, she collapsed
on the floor and he had to rush her to hospital....
