Austin introduces Billie to Julie who asks her to sing with Austin in
the next set. Carrie is still watching them as they go for a break.
Austin wants to know where she has been and why she didn't get in touch
with him. She tells him that she's clean finally and that everything is
fine. They go back and complete the last set. Carrie and Tim leave and
Billie asks Austin who she is. He tells her Carrie is a friend and a
neighbor. Billie remarks that she saw the way Austin looked at her and
also the way Carrie looked at Billie. Austin brushes it off and they go
home. Meanwhile Carrie and Tim are kissing back at her flat when she
hears Billie's voice next door. She breaks off the kiss and asks Tim to
go home - she wants to get to know him better before they go any
further. He acquiesces and leaves.
Nikki is fine and sleeping for the night. Vivian goes home with Victor
after being confronted by Lawrence about their affair. She decides to
go home but Victor asks her to stay. She tells him she needs more than
for him to tell her he cares about her but he tells her he can't tell
her he loves her, not yet. She stays anyway but cannot sleep from the
guilt. Meanwhile Carly wants to tell Lawrence but Bo doesn't want her
to. However, Lisanne corners her and tells her that she knows she's
been lying - the baby was Lawrence's and when he finds out Carly has
been lying t him all this time he's going to hate her. Later at the
Fancy-face, Carly can't sleep and so slips out and back to the
hospital. She finds Lawrence in the chapel and tells him that the baby
was his...
Tuesday 22 September 1992
Wednesday 30th April 1997
John watches Isabella trying to get Brady to sleep. She tells him she
doesn't want them to be sad in the time she has left. He asks her if
there's anything she wants to do. She decides that she wants to see the
sun rise as she's never seen it before. They go down to the beach with
Brady and watch the stars. Isabella tells him she's reading a book
about Native American Indians and their belief in Pantheism. She tells
him that she believes some of it - that we have an immortal soul and
that we join our creator, and that in some way we join the universe.
Carly tells Lawrence about the baby and tries to explain why she didn't
tell him before. He can't understand however and he tells her that he
will never be able to forgive her. Meanwhile Bo wakes and sees a note
from Carly saying she had to go to the hospital. He knows why and he
isn't happy. When she gets back she is really upset but Bo is too busy
sulking to comfort her and tells her that he doesn't know if he can get
past this. (Excuse me....but was this really any of his business
anyway? He just seems to be acting like a big kid who can't get his own
way..) He goes down to the pub where Shawn is surveying the new
interior. (And how come all these Salem residents are up and dressed
before dawn anyway?) Bo tells him the problem and Shawn convinces him
that love can overcome anything. Bo goes back to the boat and Carly
thanks him for forgiving her. But has he really?
Meanwhile Vivian decides that what Victor has to offer isn't enough.
She asks him to marry her - a business merger but he tells her he can't
commit to anything like that now. So she leaves and is accosted by
Lawrence on her arrival home. She tells him that she was keeping
Carly's confidence. She goes to bed and Lawrence goes to the Œone
person who won't lie' to him....Nikki...
Wednesday 23 September 1992
Thursday 1st May 1997
Marlena goes to the studio to see how the portrait is coming and to
apologize to Roger for her behaviour the previous night. He tells her
not to worry about it but won't show her the portrait till it's
finished. She leaves and goes over to Shane's where he tells her he's
still worried about Kimberley. Kim herself is getting worried - she's
having more headaches and she calls a Dr. Lindsay Allison, arranging to
meet the doctor in Chicago. She goes down to the hospital to pick up a
textbook on abnormal psychology but she hears Shane and Marlena talking
when she gets back to the house. They tell her they are talking about
the opening of the new pub.
After Marlena leaves, Shane tells Kim that he is worried about her, so
much so that he doesn't want her taking the kids to school or picking
them up. Later she calls Phillip and asks him to come soon - and she
wants to get married as soon as he gets to Salem. In LA Molly is
offered the part that she has screen-tested for.
Down at the station Bo tells Roman that he and Carly are having problems
and that he wants a transfer to Vice. Roman isn't keen but then Abe
comes in and tells him about a big call-girl operation that they want to
crack. Bo convinces them that he's the guy for the job but they need a
woman. He pulls Taylor into the office and suggests her but Roman
thinks she's not cut out for the job. She proves him wrong when she
comes back dressed up to the nines. Abe gives them permission to go
ahead and after they leave Roman complains about how bored he is - he's
not cut out for office work. He asks Abe to put him back on the
streets, just as Marlena turns up. She's not too keen on the idea but
tells him he has to do what makes him happy. Down at the studio Roger
can't get the portrait quite right. Then he has a fantasy where Marlena
tells him to follow his dreams. He tells her she's his dream and she
tells him she hopes he'll never wake up. Coming back to reality he
phones her at the station and convinces her to come back to the studio
to sit for him....
Thursday 24 September 1992
Friday 2nd May 1997
Shane tells Kim that he wants custody of the kids. While he is talking
to her he is wielding a paper knife and she has an image of her as a kid
with Uncle Eric and a knife. She tells him that she can't talk about it
now and goes up to her bedroom. She has another headache and changes
into Lacey. She goes out to the apartment, gets changed and goes down
to Casey's.
Carrie takes some flowers down to the Pub. It is the opening party
tonight. Austin is there with Billie and they are sitting at the piano
doing a number. Carrie gets upset and leaves. Later on she is at the
hospital with Tim who hurt his thumb trying to put up a shelf for her.
She asks him to go to the pub opening with her.
Jennifer has false labour pains on her show and Jack sees them. He
calls her and then flies to New York. He tells her she is coming back
to Salem with him. Tonight.
Roger calls Marlena and asks her to come down for another sitting. He
also asks her to bring the dress that she wants to wear in the
portrait. Before she arrives Stella turns up at the studio and asks
Roger if he wants to do something. He tells her he has lots of work to
do and will probably be there till late in the night. Later Marlena
arrives with a beautiful red gown. Roger sees something in her eyes and
asks her to hold that for him. He sketches her and then puts the sketch
pad down. He turns her head this way and that and then gets so close he
kisses her. She pulls away and asks what she did to invite that. He is
surprised - he thought she felt the same as he did. She tells him it is
classic transference and it's natural. She tries to put his mind at
ease and then she leaves. However, when Stella comes by the studio
later on, it is empty. Roger is at Casey's Roadhouse. He has a sketch
of Marlena on a napkin in front of him but he drinks a bourbon and then
burns it....
Friday 25th September 1992
Monday 5th May 1997
It is the night of the opening of the Brady pub. Roman persuades Stella
to come along with him as she can't find Roger. At the pub Taylor tries
her hooker lines on Roman and convinces him to put her on vice with Bo.
Bo and Carly make up and decide to set yet *another* date for the
wedding. John comes to the party without Isabella is hailed as the
guest of honour but slips out very quickly. Carrie goes to the party
with Tim but is disturbed when she finds Austin there with Billie. She
goes outside with Tim to get some fresh air and they kiss until she sees
Austin. Tim asks them what they have going on and says that they are
not going to use him to make each other jealous. Carrie says that's not
how it is, she's here with him just like Austin is here with his date
Billie. Austin tells her incredulously that Billie is not his date,
she's his sister.
Lawrence tells Vivian that he understands why she kept the truth from
him and why she didn't want him with Katerina all these years - he never
understood just how much she hated him, but now he does because she must
have not to have told him about the baby. Vivian tells him that
sometimes people do things on impulse and then it's too late to mend
things.
Kim/Lacey is at Casey's and trying to chat up Roger. He knows he knows
her but not from where. She dances with him for a while but when he
gets close to remembering who she is, she splits. However she runs into
the biker that she had been seeing and he drives her out to a secluded
spot and holds a knife to her. Again she has a flashback to her and
Uncle Eric and she knees the guy in the groin. When he comes at her
again she pushes him back and (in a piece of very bad choreography) he
plunges the knife into his own chest.....
