Andrew comes down and tells Shane he's had a bad dream. He looked for his Mom but she's not in her room or anywhere else. Meanwhile in the bar (Casey's) "the redhead" (still don't see her face) causes a fight. She disappears just before Bo and Taylor come to break it up. Shawn arrives at Shane's to tell him about a spinal unit that is opening up in Minnesota. Shane tells him That Kim is gone and they don't know where she is. After a while she turns up but seems disorientated. She tells them that she was out driving and got lost. Later on, when she is asleep, a voice says "good night Kimmy". She wakes immediately and turns the light on but there is no-one there.
Isabella asks Carly what her chances are if it is cancer. Carly tells her that it's better not to get into that until they know and she schedules the biopsy for 10am the following morning. She tells Isabella to go home and tell John, he'll want to be there for her. Isabella agrees and goes. Carly is upset and Lawrence arrives. He follows her into the lounge and she tells him about the patient, omitting the name. He is sweet and she is surprised. Later Bo turns up and thinks that Lawrence has upset Carly. She tells him it wasn't him and they go back to the boat. She outlines the problem to him not filling in any names and can't help herself when she starts crying when he's talking about his day. (Good acting from CC...) Isabella goes home but doesn't tell John anything. They lie on the couch and John talks about buying a cabin in the woods for Brady and all his little brothers and sisters to run around in......
Lawrence asks Ivan where Vivian is but Ivan dances round the answer. She's just *out* Lawrence! But out where? Well I'll give you one guess. Yes, she's at Victor's. But she's telling Victor that they have to end this - she can't keep creeping around behind Lawrence's back almost getting caught. Victor tries to persuade her to change her mind but she won't and leaves. When they get to the Alamain industry board meeting, Lawrence notices the look that Vivian gives Vic when he arrives. Back at La Alamain, Lawrence tells Viv he suspects that she is seeing Vic behind his back - he tells her he's not blind or stupid (not like your bro, huh Lawrence?). She denies it but Lawrence tells he if he finds out she's been lying, Lord help her. Later on Vic rings while Lawrence is there. He wants her to come over for dinner tonight...and she agrees.
Kim finds a packet of cigarettes from Casey's Roadhouse in her bag and later on Shane finds them. She covers by telling him she's smoking socially. She persuades him to go to a clinic in Minnesota for a program for his back. He agrees and makes the arrangements and when he goes upstairs to get changes she pulls out a cigarette and lights it...
Carrie opens her door to get the paper and finds Austin standing there. Only problem is she has forgotten that she has a green face-mask on. She's dreadfully embarrassed but he puts her a little at ease. He wants to check if they are still going to Wings tonight. When he is gone she calls Wings to check her reservations, but they've lost them. She panics and then manages to find Julie who agrees to let her in. AT the mall she sees Austin kissing Bridget at Johnny Angel's. She goes over to check that tonight is still on. When she goes, Tim asks Austin why, if he's not planning to date Carrie, is he hanging around with her so much. Austin doesn't quite have an answer.
Isabella tells John that she's going to have her hair done before the board meeting and goes off to the hospital for the biopsy. It takes longer than planned and she gets to the board meeting late. John has already made their presentation but she sells it to the board. Afterwards they celebrate and John tells her that he's looking forward to a long and happy life with her....
Vivian goes to Victor's for dinner and "afters". After questioning Nikki and Ivan about her whereabouts and not getting an adequate answer, Lawrence goes to Victors. They hear him coming and Vic goes out of the bedroom to intercept him. Lawrence barges past him into the bedroom, but it's empty....
Austin arrives to pick up Carrie (albeit a little late). He Makes up for it by bringing her a red rose. They go to Wings for the jazz concert and meet up with a sax player that used to play with Curtis. He gets Austin up to play a set on the piano. When they get home, Austin kisses Carrie on the cheek and then goes back to his own flat.
Roman and Marlena are having a moment when the phone rings. Roger is having a crisis and Doc has to go down there, much to Romans dismay. When she gets there she discovers art supplies thrown around her room. She tells him that she sent them over and the only way he's going to get a life again is to start painting. She goes back to the hotel room and tells Roman that she can't go back with him tomorrow. As you can imagine, he's not terribly thrilled by this news. However, back at the clinic, Roger picks up his easel, palette and brush...
Lisanne is at Vivian's villa in Paris. Gerrard, Vivian's butler, tells her that he has some information about Katerina but he will only part with it in return for some physical favours. Lisanne tries to get him to spill the beans while he is pawing her. She strips down to her teddy and he tells her that there are some letters in the cabinet and he has the keys. If she wants then she'll have to come get them. She is trying to get them when he grabs her. It is only when she has pulled herself free that she realizes he has had a heart attack and died. She gets the letter and then leaves. On the plane, she is reading a letter when she discovers that Carly had a child.
Lisanne gave Lawrence the news about Carly's child. He was, understandably wild and was trying to find Vivian and then Carly.
Carly gives Isabella the news that it's cancer (just missed this bit :0( ) Isabella asks what treatments they can give but Carly tells her that pancreatic cancer is very hard to treat. Not that they won't do their best but..... They are both crying when John comes in and Carly leaves Isabella to tells him. Carly goes back to the boat and tells Bo the bad news. Meanwhile, back at the loft, Isabella tells John that Carly was there in her capacity as a doctor. She tells him about all the tests that were run and then tells him that she wants to grow old with him. He asks her to tell him, so she does. Later on he asks her to have the tests re-run, but she tells him that there's no point. They have to deal with these feelings now so they can figure out what to do next....
Phillip comes home and finds Kim really upset. She's been hearing the voice again but she doesn't tell him that. They go upstairs and get horizontal, but when he's asleep the voice beckons her downstairs. She drives off and arrives at an apartment that her alter-ego obviously rented. She gets dressed up in skin-tight crushed velvet and the red wig and one of the guys from Casey's comes to pick her up.
Lawrence finds Carly at the hospital and asks her about the baby. She tells him that it wasn't his. He goes home and Vivian backs up the story. She tells him that she didn't want to upset him.
John goes to the hospital and asks Carly what she can do for IzzyB. She tells him nothing, Isabella is terminal. He won't believe it and insist that if Carly won't do anything, he'll find someone who will. Meanwhile, Victor arrives at the loft and Isabella breaks the news to him. He goes to the hospital where Carly tells him there's very little hope and then he goes to Lawrence's and tells them all about Isabella and that if they try to take advantage of the situation he will ruin them if it takes every last cent he has. When John gets home he tells Isabella that they're going to find a treatment that can save her. Quickly he organizes for them to go to John Hopkins where the have the most advanced treatment available. He tells Isabella that they will leave first thing in the morning.
