Lisanne disappears off on her fact-finding trip to Europe, Vivian has a romantic lunch with Victor and Nikki doesn't want to go back to boarding school.
Carrie tells Austin about her bet on a horse race. Later she wins and Jesse collects $300 for her. She goes on a shopping spree and then bumps into Austin again. Austin stops by Johnny Angels and Tells Tim not to accept bets from Jesse when he's betting for a friend. Because that friend is the daughter of the police chief.
Roman is distracted at work. His and Abe's normal secretary is on maternity leave so Stella is asked to fill in for a few weeks. When she sees a picture of Marlena on Roman's desk she has a vision of Marlena and Roger making love. Later she persuades Abe and Roman that he needs some time out and they decide that he will fly up and visit Marlena. She tells him that she will keep an eye on Carrie for him (after he had an argument with Carrie about her dropping some school courses so she can earn enough money to pay rent.) She tells Roman that after all he and his wife have done for her she could never pay them back....but she intends to try (and oh does she.....). Later Roman calls Marlena and she tells him she is looking forward to seeing him. When she asks what made him decide to come up he says it was Stella.
Kimberly is beginning to behave quite oddly. She does things and then forgets she does them and snaps at people when she normally wouldn't. When Phillip asks her about it she brushes it off as aftereffects of the accident. he tells her he has to go back to LA tomorrow and persuades her to come back with him. Then he, Andrew, Shawn and Shane go fishing. When they come back, Kim tells him she has changed her mind. She can't go because her parents need her at this transitional stage with the pub opening and all....
Jack finds out he has been fired from WTGB. He is really depressed and Alice decides to give him a present. She sends him on a plane to New York to see Jenn. He agrees to go because he is missing her so much and when he gets there it urns out that she has been missing him too.
Victor has just arrived at the loft when Isabella has her worst pain yet. Both he and John are very concerned about her and she agrees to get a referral to a chiropractor from Carly. She heads off to the hospital shortly thereafter but when John meets her for lunch she is still very pale with little appetite. Later at the loft, she is trying to give Brady his bottle when she snaps at him. John is concerned as she would never normally do that, but she tells him she's just tired. He takes Brady from her and tells her to go get some rest. She heads upstairs but before she goes he makes her promise to go see Carly about it tomorrow....
Victor invites Vivian to his yacht for the evening. when she gets there she wonders what they are going to talk about as they have made a pact not to talk about work. Vic tells her they don't have to talk at all and kisses her. Eventually he tells her he is going to his cabin and would like it very much if she followed him.
Jenn and Jack are in bed, doing whachya do in bed...:0). Jack asks Jenn if she should be getting ready for work but she says they have plenty of time and she's set the alarm clock to make sure she gets up in time. Only thing is that the alarm clock has been unplugged in the throes of passion. A little later they get a call to say her driver is waiting downstairs. At the studio is.....Calliope, a nervous wreck but Jenn gets her through the show. The show is on television versus literature and Jenn reads the poem that she read to Jack on their wedding day and Jack gets all sentimental. When they get back to the hotel he has a romantic room service dinner waiting for her....
Vic and Viv also do the deed. When Viv comes out of the cabin, Victor gives her a necklace she pawned when she was trying to get money for Nikki. She is grateful and there is a bit of kissing going on. Later she arrives back at the house and Lawrence notes that he hasn't seen the necklace for a while. She tells him she hasn't had occasion to wear it. Nikki comes down and they all go out for dinner at Johnny Angels.
Tanner wants to do the deed with Molly. She's not so keen and tells him that she is missing Ginger.
Bo and Carly don't do the deed (which is a bit of a change - those two are like rabbits!). She has the first day with the new van but has to contend with Lawrence briefly. She sorts him out by giving him a measles shot. It's also Bo's first day on the beat and he is introduced to his partner in the most *unusual* way when she does his fly up for him before Abe comes in the room.
Bo and his partner Taylor are having breakfast at Johnny Angels. Austin is there and says Hi to Bo. When the cops leave, he tells the waitress that she's not to take any bets when they are around. She says that she knows and she gives him his takings for the morning. It's $500 dollars which is going to come in quite handy as Austin is sending money to someone. However he is stopped by a man with a knife who just lost a lot of money there. He wants the money that Austin has but Bo and Taylor come rushing back. Bo gets swiped with the knife but it's only a flesh wound and they take the guy away. This means trouble for Austin because the guy could spill the beans....
Phillip is ready to go back to LA but Kim tells him she has a follow-up appointment at the hospital. He decides to change his flights till he knows she's alright. They go to the appointment and she gets a clean bill of health. He takes her shopping for sexy lingerie and then goes off to the airport. The moment he leaves, Kim has another headache and then, swapping into another personality, takes the mysterious key out of her purse.
Isabella goes to the hospital to see Carly as John insisted. Carly checks out the vitals and they are okay. She is obviously concerned and tells IzzyB that she wants to run some more tests. She says that if she is still feeling unwell and they don't find anything on the blood tests, she wants to do a barium x-ray just to be sure. After the appointment, Isabella meets Victor at Alice's. He tells her that she should be looking after herself and that he thinks she shouldn't accept this job with John because it will be too much for her. When she tells him she'll walk home and then has another big twinge, Vic tells her that she's going home in his limo....
Lawrence goes down to see Carly at the med-van again. He takes a bag of toys for them to give to the kids after they have had their shots. Carly is amazed to realize just how much he loves children. Later on when he and Nikki are playing chess, Vivian tells them she has come to a decision - she is going to let Nikki stay in Salem instead of sending him back to Switzerland.
Shane's therapy progresses and he tries using only a cane. He goes home and Kim and the kids are thrilled. Kim goes shopping and changes personalities again, buying a pair of patent red stilettos. Back at Donovan Manor, Kim and the kids make dinner, Andrew creating green mashed potatoes. Later on, when Shane is gazing at a picture of him with the kids that Kim gave him, down at the Cheatin' Heart is a woman wearing red patent stilettos.
While Lawrence is at the med-van, Carly gets a phone call. She asks the person if they are sure and then says that she'll get down to the hospital She calls Isabella and asks her to come down for an ultrasound because they found something in the tests. Isabella tells John that she's going but lies about the reason. When she gets there, Carly does the ultrasound. After IzzyB is dressed, she asks Carly what she found. Carly suggests that perhaps she get John in before she tells her. Isabella says no, she wants to know now. Carly tells her that she found a mass on her pancreas. IzzyB asks what that means. Carly says they won't know until they do a biopsy. Isabella asks if Carly is trying to tell her that she might have cancer. Regretfully Carly answers yes.....
