Vivian spends the whole evening trying to prevent Lawrence from seeing Nikki. Eventually she tells Lawrence that she's moving out and while Ivan diverts him, she takes Nikki out the front door and they go stay in a hotel.
Molly bails out Tanner but is then accosted by the reporters at the police station. Mickey tells her and Tanner that they shouldn't be seen together publicly (sounds like the last case Mickey undertook...). Molly goes to see Ginger and then meets Tanner out in the woods where he finally tells her that he loves her....
Viv is stressing out about how to get hold of some money to take Nikki out of Salem. When Ivan tells her that she is supposed to be having lunch with Vic, she decides that maybe getting married for money isn't such a bad idea. She has lunch with Vic and he tells her that he's bringing his yacht to Salem and would she like to go for a cruise around Salem harbour. When she gets back to Salem Inn, she discovers Nikki has disappeared again. He has gone down to the park and there he meets Shawn-Douglas. HE invites him back to the Salem Inn and Shawn-D says he'll ask Carly when she comes to pick him up. Bo actually picks him up and he takes Shawn-D to the Inn but there is a do-not-disturb on the phone.
In sunny California, by a swimming pool, a man asks a woman to marry him. The woman is Kimberly Brady. She tells him she'll think about it. Meanwhile, back in Salem, Shane is thinking about her.
Kimberly accepts her man's proposal, but tells him that before she makes any wedding plans, she wants to tell her parents - in person. She picks up the cellphone and calls Salem airlines.
Thanks to Jack's diligence, the police catch the fake cops (after the hold up Wings) and find that a real cop was behind it all. They are all carted away and Jack asks Roman about the reward.
Carrie gets a bad work evaluation and is consoling herself with a sundae when Austin comes into Alice's. She asks Maggie to take it away, but she accidentally spills it down Carrie's front. Austin laughs when he sees her. Later she comes out in the bathroom in an old pair of overalls. She tries to get out without Austin seeing her, but he does. He gives her a new CD and she rushes out with embarrassment. Later, in Wings he sends over a sundae to Carrie's table and then plays the piano. He tells her he wrote the piece - for a woman he's never met . He leaves and when Roman comes in, Julie tells him that she thinks that Carrie is in love. Roman realizes his little girl is growing up and he asks her to dance in a really touching scene.
Ginger and Tanner work out a plan to try to entrap Gavin Newurth. Ginger tells Mickey that she can't testify because she's not sure that Molly is telling the truth. Gavin hears her say this and arrives at her trailer to ask if she'll testify in court. She says that she will but he is secretly taping her. When she finds this out and he goes to leave, she hits him over the head with a bottle and ties him up.....
Marlena and Roman are like passing ships in the night. Both of them are working so hard they barely get to see each other. Eventually they manage to snatch some time for dinner at Wings. When they discover they are talking about work, they vow to distract themselves in 'any way they deem necessary'. Marlena does a great job of distracting Roman when she slides her hand under the table... :0)
Lawrence comes up with a plan to discredit John but he wants Lisanne to put it into action. He persuades her to with a promise of a doubling of her fees. She goes down to the dock and offers Roger two grand to cause a bit of dissent among the dock workers of Alamain Enterprises. He agrees. She goes back to Lawrence's to claim her 'bonus' wearing nothing but a trench coat....
John and Isabella get to there hotel in Venice. Brady has his own room across the hall with a nanny (how convenient.) There is a lot of Italian spoken and even more sucking face. Especially after John has a gondolier serenade IzzyB.
Tanner, Ginger and Molly take Gavin Newurth to his cabin in the woods. Tanner and Ginger taunt him while Molly gets upset. After a while, Tanner takes Molly outside and Ginger threatens Gavin and his *jewels* with a hot poker, giving him a taste of what it felt like for Molly. Tanner and Molly come back in and he and Ginger tell Newurth that they will haunt him till the day he dies. They let him go and a short while thereafter, Gavin is caught at the airport trying to skip the country....
Roman brings Marlena breakfast in bed to make up for the last few days. It's strawberries and cream. Later on Marlena takes Carrie shopping. At the mall they run into Austin who says that he want's to see the site of the new pub. Carrie offers to take him and Marlena tells her to go on. Still at the mall, Marlena sees an altercation between Jesse and Roger. She tries to talk to Roger about it but he storms off. He goes home and gets drunk. when he runs out of booze, he decides to go out and get some more....in his car...
Carrie and Austin go to the pub, where Roman is helping Shawn. Carrie introduces him to Austin and he's perfectly nice to him. Carrie thinks there is something wrong. Later on Roman talks to Austin alone and he tells Roman that he's happy to keep an eye on Carrie - like a 'big brother'. When Roman looks at him sideways he tells him that he thinks Carrie is a little too young for him.
Kimberly arrives in town and surprises her parents. Later she surprises Bo at the police station and he sees the ring on her hand. She asks him not to tell anyone till she's had a chance to tell Shane. She goes to Shane's but finds he's gone off to the realty office to look at buying a smaller place. She decides to go and try and talk him out of it. She arrives across the road from the Realtoršs and sees Shane.. As she crosses the road to see him, a car swerves around the corner. Shane launches himself out of his wheelchair and takes a few steps but she is hit and he collapses on the pavement....
