Jenn sees Jack and Ginger together in Alice's again. Jack is telling Ginger to change and he'll take her to see Julie about the job. She kisses him and Jenn sees. She comes up and asks him to explain. She doesn't believe his explanation and goes back up to the apartment. Ginger meets Jack at the Spectator and Jack suggests hiring Ginger to Julie. Julie isn't keen, especially when Ginger mentions Molly. Jack tells Ginger to meet him later and he'll bring something for her to wear. He goes out and gets a dress for her. When he gets back to the flat he finds Jenn and Jo there. Jenn demands to know what he has and he tells her it's for her. She opens it and sees it's for a tall, not-pregnant woman. She tells him to go give it to Ginger.
Lisanne comes back to town and meets with Mickey. She tells him she's accepted his offer. He is surprised - he thought she'd already refused. He tells her that there's no position available anymore - he had a good look at the finances and they will not support it. He leaves and she spies Shane. She gets an onion from Dave and makes herself cry. Then she walks past Shane. He asks her what's wrong. She skillfully manipulates it so that he offers to go and talk to Mickey about her.
Marlena is looking for her shoes and mentions to Roman that she noticed he didn't sleep very well. He tells her that Carrie didn't get home till three. They hear Carrie and call her in. She says that she ran into Jesse but when he went home she went to the movies. After she came out she had car trouble and she called Jesse. He came down and fixed it. Marlena leaves for work. Roger and Jesse are already waiting for her and Roger tells her that they've already worked out all their problems and they don't need to see her any more. She asks them how they did it, but Roger tells her there's nothing to tell. She says that's fine, they don't have to talk, but they still have to come and it's only going to drag it out. Jesse runs out and Roger gets upset. She tells him not to miss their next appointment. He says that Stella won't let him.
Roman arrives at Wings and finds Stella waiting for him. She asks him to talk to Marlena and persuade her to drop their case. Roman tells her he can't do that and tells her that for what it's worth, he thinks that they've got the best shrink in town... She leaves and Marlena arrives. He tells her about it and what he said. Then he apologises for being a jerk recently. He tells her that he wants to take her away - to the inn where they first made love and they can just be themselves....
Jack developed a dermatitis rash on his face. Jo takes him down to the hospital. Marcus brings the dietician in (the one who knows about the medical record switch). Jacks raves on and after he foes Marcus remarks to the woman that you'd think that he was dying.
Vivian finds Carly at the Sand Dollar and pumps her for information about their search. Carly won't tell her anything but does tell her that now she thinks that maybe Lawrence has a right to know Later, Lawrence turns up after Vivian leaves. He follows Carly outside and tells her he's changed since he found out that Forrest is still alive. He wants to start anew with her so she doesnıt have to run away every time he is near.
Carrie and Jesse are talking about their families. Jesse is saying that he hopes he doesn't end up like his dad and hating his kids. Carrie suggests that he doesnıt go home for the night and takes him to Neil's barn. Later she comes back with some food.
Lisanne goes to see Lawrence. She tells him about the hitch with the law firm but that she intends to get back in. She asks him for a list of the most influential people in Salem. Lawrence tells her that most of them are connected with the hospital. Later Lisanne calls on Alice and gives her a big donation for the trauma centre, apologizing for all the hurt she has caused.
Jenn shows Brian the letter. Brian suggests that it's not for her, seeing as Jack never calls her baby. She disagrees and decides to leave Jack. She packs and goes to Alice and Tom's. Jack gets home and finds the apartment empty.
Roger arrives for the therapy appointment with Marlena. She asks where Jesse is. Roger says that her guess is as good as his. She tells him he should be worried about Jesse. Roger says he'll turn up. Marlena says that she'll find Jesse with or without his help. He decides to stay to help her. Meanwhile, Carrie persuades Jesse not to skip town but to carry on with the sessions and play the game. He turns up at Marlena's office and says he was held up. They have a therapy session but Roger insists that everything is going fine in their lives and Jesse backs him up.. When the session is over, Marlena asks Jesse to stay behind and asks him why he's backing Roger up - if he told the truth, Roger would be forced top and they might get somewhere. He tells her that's fine but she doesn't have to live with Roger and he leaves.
Lisanne schmoozes Maggie, telling her that she admires her for her work on various charity committees and volunteering to help.
Professor Newurth asks Molly to make a reservation for a weekend away for him and her. He tells her it's a working weekend but she's not so sure.
Isabella is still trying to talk John out of dicing with the Alamainıs but she isn't succeeding. She asks Vic to talk John out of signing the contract but he won't play ball either. John meets with Vivian and is still stalling on the contacts. When she talks about the Alamains owning lots of companies - he agrees that 'we do - don't we'.
John and Isabella have another fight about him going head to head with the Alamains. She doesn't want him to turn into an Alamain. He asks her what she thinks she married. She says that she married a sweet caring man who didn't care about money or power. HE makes the observation that she was like that too. She says that she's doing good things with the Toscano money. John tells her that's why he wants his share of the Alamain money. Isabella says that it was different - she didn't have to fight for hers. He says that she didn't have to - Marina was dead already. She says that she can't believe he brought that up. He replies that he was just trying to make a point. He leaves and goes over to the Alamain's. Lisanne is there as Lawrence's attorney for when John signs the papers. John says that he's still not sure and then says that he wants *another* company. It's Vivianıs. She asks why he would want that particular company. He begins to list other companies that he wants and Vivian says that they're all hers. He tells her that he wants them all - just like it says in the will.
Lisanne goes to see Shane. They talk about his past - his two wives - one of them Kayla's sister. He tells her about Andrew and Jeannie and she sees a picture of Eve. He tells her it's his other daughter He says that he talked to Mickey but he wasn't very receptive but he will try again.
Bo gets back to the boat and tells Carly that he spent the night with a friend who is a computer hacker learning how to do it. They go over to Shaneıs and hack into the Paris Hall of Records. They find the birth certificate - for October. Then they find a death certificate - dated 10th of Jan - listing cause of death as pneumonia.
Jenn is sitting in front of the TV watching Ask Dr. Love. Alice tells her to stop wallowing, go upstairs and get changed. Jenn comes back down and tells her about Jack and Ginger having an affair. Alice thinks it's hilarious and doesn't believe it for a minute. Later she runs into Jo at the village and they decide to get Jack and Jenn back together. They get Jenn to go back to the apartment, telling her that Jack isnıt there. He is in fact there and she has it out with him - telling him that she found the letter. He tells her it was to the baby. She is walking out when he tells her that he wrote it because he won't be around to tell the baby he's dying.
