(Wednesday 22nd January 1997 in NZ)
Isabella and John stop by the office with some boxes to start packing. Bo is shocked, not realising she was planning on doing it quite so soon. He leaves for the Brady's. Later Vivian storms into the office and yells at John, telling him he won't get away with it. She's obviously drunk but she figures out that it was Victor advising him and says that she'll get revenge on both of them. She tracks Vic down at Wings and harangues him, threatening Isabella and Brady. Julie eventually throws her out.
Roman and Marlena arrive at the Brady's with Sami and Eric. There is a family dinner on and Marlena has made a chocolate cream pie - being Shawn's favourite and all. Unfortunately (or fortunately), Caroline has already made one and Roman picks Marlena's up - threatening to get her back for the pie fiasco at Kayla's farewell. He chases her round the kitchen and Shawn wears the pie as he walks through the door. He sees the funny side of it and as he goes to get changed, Roman and Marlena move onto water fights, thoroughly drenching Caroline. When things have calmed down a bit, Bo arrives and shortly after him, so does Carrie. She tells them that she has scored a job for the summer and also that she has found an apartment. Roman asks her how she can afford it and after a little pressuring she tells him that she's going to be rooming with Jesse. He goes ballistic and they have a huge argument (again). Marlena follows her into the village and they talk for a while. Marlena goes back to the Brady's after telling Carrie to do whatever feels right. Back at the Fish-Market, Bo and Roman are in the middle of a fight - Bo thinks Roman is being to hard on Carrie - Roman thinks Bo is sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Eventually Shawn makes them stop fighting. They sit down and say grace and Carrie comes back.

Jesse knocks on the French door at Carries and tells her that he won't be graduating. He leaves as Marlena comes down the stairs (in a very fetching apple green suit may I add :0)..). They talk about Carrie moving out and Marlena tells her that part of her would like all of the kids to stay at home for ever....but the healthy part knows that it's right for her to strike out on her own. Carrie asks her what she was like when she was her age. Marlena tells her that she was a lot like Carrie. She tells her about how she wanted to get as far away from her parents and her twin sister as possible when she went to college, but when she got there she found that she wondered why she had wanted it so much. She tells Carrie that it's alright by her and that she can come back if she needs to. Carrie tells her that she loves her. Later Jesse and Roger are having a session with Marlena. Jesse goes outside to get a drink and runs into Carrie. She asks him why he's not going to his graduation. They all end up going to the graduation. Afterwards, Carrie tells Jesse she can probably get him a job at Ballistics (the store she's working in) and asks him to room with her. He agrees.
A number of people, including Tanner and Julie are starting to clue into the fact that Molly is behaving oddly. They can't however figure out what it is that's causing it......

Shawn and Caroline are in the Fish-Market when two young guys dressed as policemen rush in and hold them up. Jack comes in after them having seen them and Bo comes in as well. He tries to get a gun from one of the guys and Shawn does the same with the other one. Unfortunately the gun goes off and Shawn is hit in the chest. Abe and Roman are out on the street, the shortage of cops mean they have to go out themselves. They hear gun shots and they race to the source. Jack calls an ambulance and then gives Abe the details of the offenders. Roman tells Bo about the shortage of police and Bo decides that since he's looking for a new job, he's going to become a policeman. They all arrive at the hospital where Carly is back full time. She has to operate on Shawn immediately and he is on the critical list. Afterwards Bo tells her about his decision and she supports him.
(Monday 27th January 1997 in NZ)
Carrie and Jesse have moved into their new apartment and are fixing it up. Marlena is on the way there when she runs into Roman. She asks him how Shawn is. He tells her he's still on the critical list. Marlena invites him along to Carrie's but only on the condition that he is nice. Unfortunately he still manages to upset Carrie. After they leave the apartment, they go over to the Lombard's to try to find a way of getting the kids out of the apartment. However Roger is glad that Jesse is gone and doesn't want anything to do with it. They leave and when Roman calls the hospital he finds out that Shawn has taken a turn for the worse.
John is finding that he is out of his depth with the Alamain business. He asks Mickey to hire Lisanne - at least if she is working with a reputable firm, Lawrence will have to stay somewhat on the straight and narrow. Mickey agrees and finds Lisanne having lunch with Lawrence. Lawrence is angry when he finds out that she lied to him about Mickey hiring her. She tells him she just stretched the truth. Vivian is getting desperate. She sells some jewels but only gets $14,000 for them. She needs $20,000 to go and see Nicky. She can't ask Lawrence for the money because he would ask what it was for....
(Tuesday 28th January 1997 in NZ)
Caroline, Roman, Marlena and Bo are at the hospital waiting for news about Shawn. Carly eventually comes out and tells them that they managed to stop the bleeding and Shawn is going to be alright. Shane comes in to see how Shawn is and Roman and Abe tell them they could use his help and expertise at the station. Shane says that he can't and Roman tells him that one day he'll have to stop feeling sorry for himself. Shane rolls off in a huff. Bo has to get back to the academy (boy that was fast considering how long it took John to get his application accepted!) and Abe goes back to the station. With Roman. Carly asks Marlena how she does it. They talk about how hard it is to have a partner who is a cop and Marlena offers to take Carly out again if ever things get tough.
John has a meeting with Lawrence, Vivian and Lisanne regarding a proposed merger. Victor comes in and tells them that John will not consider it because they have discovered that the bank that is supposed to be financing the merger has been subpoenaed. After they leave John takes Isabella for her surprise. He flies her in a helicopter to a deserted beach with a very expensive picnic. Back at LaAlamain, Lisanne and Lawrence are conducting their own little merger...
Molly turns up at the cabin and finds Professor Newurth there (without his wife (surprise surprise). Meanwhile Tanner finds out from his Mom's friend that a man was chasing her and that's why she ended up committing suicide. This man was married and took her to a cabin by a lake. Back at the cabin Gavin suggests a swim to a reluctant Molly. When they get back he attacks her and she pushes him away. He falls over and hits his head....
