John tries to escape, but he's carted off to prison. They say they have evidence against him. In prison he accuses Danielle of setting him up.
Bo goes to see Vivian. She tells him that Carly was distraught and felt as if she needed a friend. She gets a phone call. Lawrence is on his way to lake Tahoe for a seminar - the same one as Carly.
Jack and Jenn don't go on Dr Love because Jack has really bad stage fright. Jo and Vern go on instead. They win but choose the curtain instead of the $5000 and get a dud prize of a cow and a years supply of cheese. Jack is still feeling ill so he calls Marcus and goes to the hospital to see him. Marcus does some more tests and tells him that he's definitely healthy.
Danielle gets the police to take John's fingerprints. She tells John that there was a partial print at the scene of one of the crimes. Of course John's prints (being Roman's) don't match that print and they have to release him. They go back to the hotel room. He tells her that Steph changed his prints along with his face. He calls her Danni and wonders where that came from. She tells him that's what he used to call her. She kisses him and this time he kisses her back. She leads him to the bed and things get a bit hot. John pulls away and tells her that he's not ready yet. She leaves and tells him that he will dream of her.
Marlena is talking to Molly. Carrie walks up and makes a snide comment. Molly leaves. Marlena isn't happy but Carrie tells her that she's not part of her goody-two-shoes club. They go into the hospital lounge and have a heated discussion. First about Lawrence and then about the kind of girl she is. Carrie thinks Marlena wants her to change. As she walks out she tells Marlena that she knows exactly what Lawrence wants. Marlena says she's not entirely sure that she does. Carrie asks what she takes her for - a virgin? Outside she asks Molly to introduce her to Raffi Torres. They go but he's not in his room. Carrie finds the bug that Roman had put there just as Torres comes in. He gets it off her and tells her to get her stepmother in there now.
Lawrence turns up at the seminar that Carly is taking at Tahoe. It's an environmental seminar and Lawrence is representing the business side. Carly tells Lawrence that it's Shawn-D's birthday tomorrow. He tells her that he remembers what it was like as a child. his parents used to throw him huge parties. Till they stopped. When they lost his brother. Something happened to his mother then. Carly has another memory. She leaves and walks into Bo.
Molly tells Marlena about what happened. Marlena tells Carrie to wait there. She marches into Torres’ room and says how dare he frighten her daughter like that. He offers her coffee. She refuses saying that she's not going to play those games with him. He tells her to take a message to Roman. He's going to beat this rap and when he gets out of hospital he's going to hunt Roman down. He throws his cup at the wall and it smashes. Marlena tells him that he doesn't scare her and he’d better stay away from her daughter and her. She goes back to the lounge an asks Carrie why she was in his room. Carrie asks her what she thinks. Marlena says that maybe she was trying to prove a point. Carrie says that maybe she was. Marlena tells her to stay away from Torres, if she was strict about Lawrence just wait and see what she’d do about this....
Carly tells Bo that Lawrence keeps reminding her about things that happened in the past but they¹re interrupted before she can tell him anything. Later in the plane she doesn't want to anymore.
Doc goes to see Roman. She tells him that Torres threatened Carrie but that he's after Roman. She tells him that Raffi is losing touch with reality. When that happens, he's got nothing left to lose and that's when he's really dangerous. Roman tells her that's the best news he's had all day, if Raffi is rattled, he's going to make mistakes.....
Lisanne tells Carly that she needs to talk about her past.
Isabella tries to call John but it's engaged. Danielle slips into bed with a sleeping John, gently wakes him up and tells him that she want's to finish what they started last night. She suggests that they slip into a luxurious bath together. She says that when they were married they used to take baths all the time. He tells her that he's more of a shower man now. She almost gets him off to the bathroom when he sees that the phone is off the hook. He puts it back on and Isabella rings almost immediately. He's quite distant with her. when he puts the phone down Danielle notes that he didn't tell her about his arrest. He tells her that he doesn't have to tell Isabella *everything* that goes on. He takes a raincheck on the bath but tells her to draw it. He'll be back soon.
Jenn tells Jack that she thinks his sickness is psychosomatic. She tells him to go see Marlena.
Marlena arrives at the Brady's to drop off a present for Shawn-D. Shawn and Caroline have another argument about Roman etc. Marlena lets them have it. She tells them that Roman loves his family and he is coming home. They have to make sure that there is something for him to come home to.
Lisanne offers to have the charges against Carly dropped in exchange for her testimony against the hospital and the doctors in the suit. Carly tells her absolutely no.
Jenn goes to see Isabella. She's been crying. She tells Jenn that she's talked to John and there's something wrong. She thinks that Danielle may have got to him.
Jack goes to see Marlena, but they don't get very far. He's still convinced he has Hodgkin's disease and everyone is keeping it from him.
Danielle walks into the cafe. John is sitting at a table with the head policeman Riso. They shake hands and Riso leaves. Danielle asks John what that was all about. John tells her that he wants to see Mangino's files and he wants Riso to help him get them. He tells her that he's willing to do *anything* to trigger his memory of the past and them together.
Isabella goes to see Carly at the Brady's. She asks Carly if she can remember *anything* more about Danielle. She can't but the baby starts kicking and Isabella asks Carly if she want's to feel it. Carly freaks and says she has some errands to run. Bo comes in just as she leaves and looks really confused. He goes to see Marlena at the hospital and she gives him the phone number of the Sorbonne. He calls them immediately. (From the hospital lounge?!) He asks for the names of the doctors that taught there. One is Dr. Gottard - the name Carly called out when she was delirious.
Isabella tries to call John again. He's not there. He and Danielle get back to the hotel and he tells her he has a surprise for her but she'll have to wait till tomorrow. They kiss....
In Switzerland Isabella rings John and tells him about Danielle's mother being fired for stealing. He and Danielle have coffee at the café and he says he'll see her at seven. She leaves and goes to see her mother who is in hospital suffering a stroke. She tells her that she's doing everything just as she taught her.
Back at the café John is given an envelope by Antonio. He says that John had given it to him for safekeeping so he could give it to Danielle on their tenth anniversary. John reads it but it doesn't reveal much except for that he was indeed in love with her.
As seven o¹clock approaches Danielle is in a black negligee in her hotel room. There is a knock at the door. It's John in a tux with flowers. He tells her he couldn't wait any longer.
Isabella asks Victor over and asks him what was in John Black's file. He can't really remember but tells her that Lawrence has it now. She troops over to Lawrence's. Vivian tells her that it's in the armoire and leaves the room. Isabella gets hold of it and takes photos of the contents. Later when Lawrence comes home Vivian tells him what happened and he congratulates her saying that perhaps Isabella will give John the info which will prove that he was Romulus and they will get the locket back.
Meanwhile, at the Brady's, Derek turns up to take the twins to soccer practice. He comes back afterwards and he and Marlena have another discussion’. He tells him that she's sick of him coming in and telling her how things are going to be. That's not a marriage, but then they don't have a marriage, do they? She tells him that he can't keep coming around in his disguise, he'll draw attention to himself. He wonders if maybe there is a way he can get into the house full time.
Carly can't escape from those darned nightmares. The nun from the church comes to see if she'll talk about her problem but Bo is there. Later Carly goes to see Viv who persuades her not to say anything to Bo about what happened. Back at the boat, Shawn-Douglas receives a birthday present. It's a book - Beauty and the Beast, guess who it's from-- The card reads ³If I had a little boy, I¹d want him to be just like you². Carly is totally thrown, but she still won't tell Bo. She tells him she'll get through it.
Bo asks Carly not to shut him out. She tells him he's right and she tells him that it's about time he knew the truth. She starts to say something but then flashes back to what Viv said and changes her mind. Later, after Carly is Gone, Vivian visits the boat ostesibly to visit Carly. Rally she's checking up on whether Carly told Bo anything.
Jenn - looking remarkably pregnant for three months is off to Isabella's baby shower. Once there she is talking to Carly about being pregnant but Carly is in a world of her own having endless re-runs of herself fainting.
Marlena arrives at the shower with Kayla and asks Carrie why she didn't come home with her car. Carrie asks innocently if she was supposed to. Marlena tells her that it was just lucky that Kayla could pick her up. Carrie says that it was okay then and walks away. Maggie tells Marlena to remind herself that ‘it's just a phase’. Later when Kayla and Marlena talk about their children, Marlena notices Carly looking distant. Carly says she's okay but she has to go see Jenn. She suggests to Jenn that they have a present opening. Jenn sees that something is wrong, but agrees anyway. The first present is from Caroline - it's a little baseball and mitt. Later carly tells Isabella that she remembered something else about Danielle. Her favourite dress went missing and was found in Danielle's closet
Isabella tries to slip away, but there's something more to go. All the mothers at the shower tell Isabella all the wonderful things about being a mother. They finish up with Carly who tells Isabella that the miracle of childbirth is a gift from god and once you’ve had it, no-one can ever take it away from you. She's almost in tears and only Jenn notices that there is something wrong. Carly insists that she's fine.
Jack is still obsessing about being sick. He accuses Jo of keeping the truth from him. She tells him that he's paranoid and a hypochondriac. Jack goes to the hospital in search of Marcus and the truth’. When he finds out that the good doctor has the day off, he slips into his office (which looks *remarkably* like Mar's) and goes through his files. He finds his file and in it a diagnosis sheet with the word prognosis terminal’. A nurse interrupts him and he leaves, the file still open on the desk. She goes to put it away, but realises the diagnosis sheet belongs in another file.
John and Danielle are kissing. He tells her that it brings back all kinds of memories about her and him. He says that he wants to make the night perfect for her and tells her to meet him back in his room in half an hour. When she arrives at his room, dinner is ready. He tells her that he wants to thank her for reminding him of his past. They eat and then watch fireworks from the window. John suddenly remembers that Danni has a penchant for black, lacy lingerie. She invites him to find out if she's wearing some. They end up kissing on the bed
Isabella finally manages to slip away and breaks into Danielle's apartment. She goes through the drawers and finds a necklace that matches one of the stolen Alamain necklaces. She realises that Danielle is Romulus.
Carly goes back to the Fancy-face and tells Bo that he has to know what really happened between her and Lawrence.
