The next morning John tells Isabella about Carly and then goes to see her again. She accepts that it's her in the photograph but maintains that she never knew him. He starts yelling and Marcus has to come and take him out. He apologises to her before he leaves. Back at the loft he rings Lawrence and says he has to talk to him.
Doc has a surprise for Abraham. It's Lexie. She's come to Salem early but Abe has to go - he's organised to meet Roman. Roman tells him that Vic plans to double cross Torres and a man named Conway is to be involved. Later they discover that the switch is to be made in West Virginia 'tomorrow'.
Carly rings Lawrence and asks Viv to come to the hospital. She tells her that she's missed her and asks if she said anything about 'their secret' when she was delerious. Vivian tells her that she didn't. Marcus later asks her about a couple of names she said - James and Dr Somethingorother. She tells him that she's been trying to forget something terrible that happened in her life but now it's coming back to haunt her.
Abe tells Marlena that he was the one that put the picture of Roman back on her desk. She tells him that she is a little disappointed because a little piece of her hoped Roman was back.
Carrie goes to Lawrence's to tell him that Carly is in love with Uncle Bo. He tells her his feelings for Carly are there, but their relationship is in the past. She goes to use the phone in the study and Vivian makes a few choice remarks. Lawrence tells her that John Black is Romulus.
Tues 10th March 1992
Friday 4th October
Shane is still determined to have the operation to find out whether he can walk again. Kayla finally tells him that she'll go along with it if it's what he wants. Later, in a not-so-subtle attempt at reverse-psychology, Rob tells Shane that he'll be waiting in the wings to look after Kayla if anything should 'happen'. Shane ends up decideing not to take the risk because Kayla's too important. (Mind you, he'll probably change his mind again tomorrow....) The lawyers take depositions for the malpractice case. The other attorney focuses on the fact that Kayla had spent all her time with Shane and not helped the other patients. (Now, if my memory serves me correctly, she wasn't on duty that night, in fact was part of the bomb blast herself - would this hold up in a real court of law? Oh I'm sorry, I almost forgot. This is Days.) They also focus on th fact that Chip left the waiter to attend to Julie (never mind the fact that there were no other doctors and she would have died!). They all go back to Alice's afterwards and have a drink. Outside Roman, who is off to W Virginia, wants to see Doc one more time. He looks through a window and then he heads off. Molly (who had gone missing in Thursday's ep) has gone to the cabin that she used to live in with her grandfather. She picks up an injured rabbit on the was and looks after it. (Cute rabbit!) After Ginger realizes where she might be, Tanner follows her up there and they have an argument. She tells him she never wants to talk to him again. He comes back later and tells her he's seen a Grizzly in the woods. She tells him he can stay, but she doesn't want him to talk to her.

Monday 7th October
John calls Lawrence to confirm their appointment. Isabella warns John that Lawrence is dangerous. John says that he know but Lawrence could be a link to his past. He arrives at Lawrences and is introduced to Vivian. John apologises to Lawrence about giving him a hard time about Carly. He realizes Lawrence still has feelings for her. Lawrence asks him what he's after and John ends up leaving without any answers. Line of the day - Vivian - "How was your little tete a tete with the caveman? Did he give you any information or did he just have a fit on the floor?" Lawrence finds an invitation to the masquerade ball. He tells Viv that it was one of her masquerade balls that Carly broke off with him. She tells him that she knows, but the ball could jog John Black's memory. Later Vivian visits Carly and tells her about the Ball which is to benefit the Trauma centre. Dan asks Jack and Jenn to come to the station. They think he's going to fire her but he actually offers both of them jobs in a new show. Unfortunately there's not much money on offer. He threatens that if Jenn doesn't accept it, she may have to leave all together. Jack persuades her to accept the offer. Later Jenn goes to see Carly at the hospital. While she's there some flowers are delivered from Lawrence and they talk about him. Jenn tells Carly that she's pregnant and Carly is really pleased for her but then gets a little upset. Danielle is back in tow. But she has no money. She stops by the loft with a handkerchief of John's which she tells IzzyB that she borrowed in the storage closet. She's washed and ironed it and accidentally sprinkled it with cologne. She tells Isabella that she almost wishes she were a part of John's life so she could help him. Isabella tells her not to worry. He's found a *real* clue now. Danielle leaves looking more than a little concerned. John arrives back at the loft later and Isabella tells him about the invitation to the ball they received. He tells her that his memory of Carly was at a Masquerade Ball.... Raffi Torres tells his man that if Vic tries anything to kill Bo. Victor tells Dmitri that once Raffi is out of the way he'll have his power back in Salem. He says that if Bo gets in the way, it's too bad. In W.Va. Roman arrives at the meeting point. (Exsqueeze me? How did he know exactly where it was going to be?) He sees Conway with a gun. Victor goes to make the switch with Torres. It's in a house in the woods and he asks to see Bo before he gives Raffi the money etc. When he sees Bo's face (although we don't) he calls "BO" as pre-arranged with Conway. There is a shot through the window which misses Torres but catches Bo. Raffi takes off and Conway comes in and follows him out. Bo is slumped in the chair and Vic and Dmitri take off. (Now that has to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen - why the hell didn't they just take him and then Vic wouldn't have to worry about being blackmailed. Honestly, this program is so *dumb* sometimes.) Conway comes back in, unties Bo's ropes and carries him off. He puts Bo in the back of a van and gets into the passengers seat. The driver is none other than Mrs H and Conway removes a latex mask to reveal - Roman - underneath. (Yeah right. If that was Roman I'm the Queen of Sheba....) He says that Bo was shot with a tranquilizer dart.

Tuesday 8th October
Vivian is organizing the Masquerade ball at Wings. Lawrence comes in. Lawrence tells Ivan he's going to see Katerina. Ivan tells Vivian that Lawrence had gone to see Carly. She asks him where his loaylties are - to L or to the Alamain family. He says the family of course. She tells him that she wants to create exactly the masquerade of 8 years ago. Carly goes to see Abe at the office. Roman calls Abe at the office while Carly is there and Abe has to struggle to keeep it from her. Roman tells Abe that Bo hasn't come round from the tranquilizer yet and he's worried. She tells him about the Ball. He tells her it's not a very good idea. She tells him that she has to because it's for the hospital. Alice tells Roman that Bo's pulse is strong and he'll come round soon. They talk about the capers long ago. Remember the Chocolate Donut? (No. Can anybody fill me in on this one?) She leaves. Bo wakes. Torres decides to go after Carly and kill her. Lawrence goes to the Fancy-face to give Carly's clothes back. He tells her that he's worried about the party and her reaction to it. He says that that was the night that she ran away from him and they've not ever really gotten over it. Nothing was ever resolved. He asks her why she never came back. What happened to keep her away? She says that she just realized that the relationship was over but she flashes back to her fainting in the garden. Danielle is at the costumers. She is going to the Masquerade Ball, even though she isn't invited. Jon arrives. He asks her if he'd ever run into her at a costume ball in the past. She says that it's possible and she's sure he'll help her remember more at the party. Lawrence comes in after they have left. He says that the costume Ivan's picked out for him is too much like the one from 8 years ago and gets another one. Isabella tells John that she just got some information from one of her contacts. Apparently Romulus pulled a major heist at a masquerade party 8 years ago. They get dressed for the party and John thinks he may be Romulus. Isabella says that she doesn't care what his name is, she loves him anyway. Abe calls Roman. He says that he got a tip that one of Torres' henchmen picked up a costume for the party. Roman asks Abe to bring a couple of costumes over. Bo gets up when he hears Carly's name and Roman pushes him of to the bathroom for a shower. Abe arrives with the costumes and Roman throws Bo's into the bathroom. Bo comes out dressed up and puts his mask on. At Wings Lawrence arrives and says that it's deja vu. It's almost exactly the same. Vivian says she did it so Romulus would show his hand. Lawrence says that all he's worried about is what Katerina will think. Carly comes in, and looks shocked at the room. They *look" at each other. (Ooooh you could cut the air with a knife. These two have major *chemistry*.)

Shane is home. He persuades Kayla to go to the ball.
At the ball Jack and Jenn are there to find a story for their new show. Jacks costume however is falling apart. John and Isabella arrive and John tells her it's familiar.
Lawrence tries to explain to Carly but she runs off. Vivian stops her and Carly asks why it looks exactly the same. Viv says she didn't realize, her people organized it and they must have used the standard arrangement. She offers to change the flowers etc. but Carly says not to. Vivian leaves and Lawrence tells Carly that he didn't know that Vivian was going to do it.
Isabella and John see Carly. John talks to Carly about the party that Vivian organized 8 years ago. Danielle arrives and John asks Carly if she recognizes her. Carly tells him that she does but only form the museum.
Bo and Roman get ready for the party. roman gives Bo a gun and tells him that he can't reveal himself to Carly until they take care of Torres.
Carrie arrives but Lawrence doesn't see her and he tells Carly that she looks beautiful. He apologizes again for the room.
John and Danielle dance to the music. He asks if she remembers the song. She tells him it's one of her favorites. He flashes back to her telling him "its our song John." However she still maintains that she didn't know him.
Torres is driving to the party. He tells his man that Roman Brady has *made* it personal.
Carly is thinking about BO. He and Roman walk in. Bo sees Carly. He wants to go with her but Roman won't let him. Carly tells Jenn how much she misses Bo and he overhears. Carrie finds Lawrence outside. Lawrence asks her why she is there and if she is willing to take the risk of Marlena catching her there. She tells him she "lives to take risks" (Oh please!). He asks her to dance.
John talks to Vivian. He asks her if she knows Danielle. She says no. He asks her about the robbery. She tells him a lot of jewelry was stolen. In particular an heirloom locket that Lawrence had given to Carly. They had had a fight and she had given it back and then it was stolen. John goes back and tells IzzyB about it. Torres arrives. Carly is outside. Bo follows her out. She doesn't turn around but tells him to go away thinking it is Lawrence. He asks her if she really means that. She recognizes hi voice but can't believe it and asks what he said. She turns around and he asks his "princess" for a dance. He takes off his mask and she falls into his arms..................
