Isabella and Carly are driving along and Isabella is having pains. She says it hurts and Carly tries to get her to let go of the wheel, but she pulls it off to the side. They skid off the road into the snow and can't get out. They're stuck and the phone won't work.
Danielle is avoiding John's questions. She asks him is there's some reason she'should know him. Lawrence interrupts them and Danielle leaves. Lawrence asks John if Carly and Isabella ever got back. He explains what happened and John gets angry, telling him that Isabella is six months pregnant. The go separately to look around town.
Isabella has another contraction. Carly tells her to relax but Isabella is frightened.
John gets to the Brady's. He asks Caroline for a take-out chowder for Isabella. They tell him that Carly was supposed to come and take Shawn-D back to the boat. Lawrence arrives and he and John go outside to talk.
Isabella comes out of the contraction. Carly decides to see if she can find some help. IzzyB has the radio on and has a flashback to a couple of months ago with her and John. She begins another contraction and gets out of the car, calling for Carly. She falls down in the snow, crying. Carly comes back. She tells her not to fight the pain and breathe through the contraction. When it is finished, Carly tells her that the Brookvale clinic is only a couple of miles away . Isabella decides to go with her. Carly says no, but Isabella says she'll walk, she'll crawl, anything to save her baby.
Chip takes Julie home. She's stiff, so he insists on giving her a shoulder massage, and tells her to take her jacket off. She does and he gives her a neck rub, but she turns around and tells him that it's time to go home.
Carly and Isabella get to the clinic, but no-one is there. Carly breaks the glass in the door and they go in. There is power, but no phone.
John and Lawrence find Isabella's car. The keys are still in the ignition. They are still arguing. The decide to try and track them.
In the clinic, Isabella has another contraction. but Carly can't get into the medication cabinet. Isabella screams that the baby's coming.....
Jenn and Jack move into their new apartment, Their landlord tells them there is a no-baby clause in their lease.
Carrie comes downstairs. She's noticed that all of Roman's stuff if gone. Marlena tells her she put it downstairs in the storage locker. Carrie tells her that Roman will come back. Marlena tells her that there's a moment when they can't wait for him forever.
Abe meets with Roman. Abe tells him it's dangerous to see his family. Roman says he has to. Abe tells Roman it's too risky but he ends up agreeing. But he says there must be no contact. If M knows he's in town she'll blow his cover.
Isabella tells Carly that the contractions are closer. She panics and Carly breaks into the medicine cabinet. She sets up an IV with the medication to stop the contractions. She says it should work.
Lawrence and John lose the tracks and start calling the women's names. Lawrence tells John they have to work together. John finds some cloth on a bush. John tells Lawrence about the material. They find some more tracks and then see a light and decide to head that way in the car.
Carrie and Marlena have an argument over Roman. Marlena tells Carrie that sometimes she thinks if he had loved her just a little bit more, he wouldn't have gone. Carrie tells her that he didn't have any choice. Marlena says that she begged him not to go, but he walked out without saying good-bye. Carrie says if he'd been able to, he would have. The phone rings. It's Dan from the TV studio. He talks Marlena into doing an interview about Frank. After she puts the phone down Carrie tells her that there's nothing more to talk about. She (M) has written Roman off and Carrie hasn't. She runs upstairs.
Isabella hasn't had a contraction for seventeen minutes. She tells Carly that the baby was conceived the night John proposed to her. She says that a baby is the strongest bond two people can share. (This is obviously the lead in to Nicky appearing at some stage). She has another contraction and Carly administers more medication.
Jenn does the interview with Doc. Roman sees her on a TV in a store window. Danielle sees it too and says that she can use Dr. Evans if she can figure out how.
Isabella's contractions stop. John and Lawrence arrive. Carly goes outside to call an ambulance on Lawrence's car phone. He follows her out and they have an argument when she tells him to go away. She tells him he knows nothing about her past and the pain he caused her. The ambulance arrives and they all head back to Salem.
Carrie comes back downstairs. She tells M that the interview was pretty good. She says that she didn't know Marlena was going through all that. Marlena says she's sorry she couldn't tell her. Carrie asks her about Lawrence. Marlena says he's evil and Carrie should stay away from him. Carrie heads back upstairs. Doc wraps a rug around her and goes outside. Roman sees her. She goes back indoors and he tries to follow her, but Abe stops him. Abe knocks on the door He wants to give Marlena a commendation. They get the kids up and Roman watches through the window.
Isabella Carly and John get to the hospital. Later Carly goes down to the pier. Lawrence follows her and gives her Bo's ring. He tells her he found it in the farmhouse and then walks away.
Marlena tells Carrie that she know that she has been seeing Lawrence. She tells her that she doesn't want her seeing him. She's called Lawrence and he's coming over to talk about it. The doorbell rings.
At the hospital Isabella wakes up. (Boy, she may as well move all her stuff in there, the girl practically lives there!) John is there and Danielle comes in with a bunch of flowers. She tells John that perhaps they can pick up where they left off.
Lawrence is at the door. Marlena tells him that Carrie is too young for him. He tells her that relationship is quite innocent. Marlena tells him that any relationship between them is unacceptable to her. He leaves saying he doesn't want to cause trouble in their family. Marlena sees him out. He asks her to think on why Carrie is drawn to him. He suggests that there s a void in Carrie s life and obviously it s not being filled at home. She goes back inside and Carrie tells her that she humiliated her. Marlena tells her that Lawrence is using her. Carrie tells her that she won t stop seeing him. She says if Marlena know so much about men maybe Roman wouldn't have left her in the first place (Ouch!)
Marlena, Sami and Eric go down to the pier. Sami and Eric are scared of the homeless man down there. Little do they know that its their father. They walk past him and talk about going fishing with Shawn and then about how much they miss their dad. Roman overhears.
John meets Danielle in the lounge. He tells her about the memory loss and also that she's the first memory he's had. He says it would be easier if he didn't know her, but he has to know the truth. She tells him that they never met before they came to Salem.
Lawrence has John s file. In it there is a picture (like an insurance type one) of the locket. He picks up a photo album and there is a picture of Carly wearing the locket. Carrie arrives all dressed up. Lawrence tells her that he doesn't want to get her into trouble. She says that she doesn't feel the same way as John and Marlena do about him, she thinks he s wonderful. He kisses her cheek and tells her it s a long time since someone looked at him like that.
Abe tells Roman about being the new commander. He's going to rent an apartment and Lexie is being transferred back to the Salem PD.
John tells Isabella that she's being released today. She asks about Danielle, but Marlena interrupts. He tells them that Danielle doesn't know him. Isabella says that they don t know that she's telling the truth. John and Marlena leave the room. She asks him what's going on. He doesn't entirely know.
Danielle tells Gabby that she couldn't tell John what shed originally planned to - he's too much in love with Isabella. She sees Marlena's nameplate and tells Gabby that she may have come up with a plan to get John back.
Carrie and Lawrence are drinking champagne. Ivan disturbs them and tells Lawrence that something has come up. He sees Carrie out, kissing her hand. She leaves and Ivan gives Lawrence a telegram. Vivian is arriving tonight!
Danielle goes to see Marlena. She tells her she's got no-one else to turn to. She says she has information about someone that could disrupt his life forever. Marlena asks her who it is. Danielle says it is her husband, John Black.
Marcus and Carly are in the hospital lounge. She tells him that she has to see Lawrence. He tells her she can't and touching her, discovers she has a fever. Marcus tells Carly she's sick but she'shows him the ring and tells him she's going. Rob (the lawyer Kayla got from LA) interrupts.
Roman is lying down at the pier. He has a dream about Marlena. Abe wakes him and he tells Abe that he has a bad feeling about her.
Danielle tells Marlena that John is married to her. Doc tells her that there could be a conflict of interests because John is her patient. Danielle tells her that she's the only person who can get her and John back together.
John is moving into the loft.
Vivian's luggage arrives
Marlena tells D that she won't be able to help her. D convinces her to hear her out. She tells her his name was John Stevens. They were young and fell in love and then he disappeared. She shows Marlena the ring and tells her she has to help her get her husband back. Marlena tells her that its out of the question, John isn't just a patient, he's a very dear friend. She's deeply emotionally involved in John's case so she can't help. D says she might be able to fill in the blanks of John's past. Marlena says no, that he has to find out for himself, they can't just tell him. D asks what happened when he disappeared. Marlena won't answer her questions. D tells her that she lied to John when he asked her about his past. Doc says she's putting her in an uncomfortable position. D leaves and smiles once outside the door. Later Marlena has her dictaphone on. She can't decide whether to take D as a patient. It would mean that she couldn't tell John or Isabella. She has an idea and looking at her watch leaves the office. She goes up to the loft and John answers the door. John and Isabella are being all lovey-dovey on the couch. (Ick!) Marlena looks a little pained. She tells him that she's glad he's happy and then leaves. Isabella asks John if he thinks she's OK. John says he doesn't know. Isabella says neither does she.
Lebec comes to see Lawrence. He accuses Lawrence of telling Carly where Bo was. Lawrence denies it and Lebec threatens him.
Roman is talking to a Torres employee. He says he's got a job on up at Mandolay Bay. John tells IzzyB he's going to take her to a resort called Mandolay Bay. (I guess everyone will end up at Mandolay Bay then....)
Marlena tells Marcus that she wants to help with the lawsuit. They decide to go see the parents of the waiter that was killed. The people won't see them and they go down to the pier where they run into Desire. Marlena gets two coffees but Marcus tells her he'll meet her at the car. She gives Roman one of the coffees. She jokes to him about how bad everyone says her coffee is. She gives him the address of the mission down the road for a hot meal.
John goes back to his old apartment and runs into Danielle. She asks him to get a trunk from the basement for her. They go down and Danielle manages to get them locked inside.
Carly arrives at Lawrence's and asks for his help before fainting dead away in his arms. (Boy, didn't see that one coming....(not).. :0).....)
Jenn is trying to pay the bills, they can barely cover them. She feeds Jack *generic* bologna and they argue about the Spectator, which Jack is trying to turn into a tabloid. Later Jenn tries to write a shopping list, but they only have $30. Jo arrives and helps her with her budget. After they get back Jenn makes meatloaf for dinner which is indescribably awful and she throws it across the room.
Lawrence puts Carly into a bed and gets the maid to call the doctor . Afterward he asks the maid to change Carly into a nightgown.
John and Danielle are stuck in the storage closet, and getting kinda cozy. The super knocks on the door and says he'll try to find the key. John gets him to call Isabella, who decides to go over there and wait for him to get out as they're supposed to be going away. In the storage closet Danielle has a headache and John offers to massage her shoulders.
Lebec tells Torres about Lawrence telling Carly where Bo was. Torres gives him a gun and tells him to take care of Alamain. Back at Lawrence's the doctor tells Lawrence that Carly has an advanced case of influenza. Ivan and Shawn-D (who he picked up from school arrive). Carly wakes and gets out of the room, but she doesn't look good.
John, while massaging Danielle's shoulder checks her out for the birthmark in the picture. She doesn't have it and he stops. She comes on to him, telling him that he must be attracted to her, but the super opens the door and Isabella is waiting for him. Isabella is a little surprised to see Danielle however. Later John tells Isabella that Danielle didn't have the birthmark. Gabby tells Danielle that there was a phone-call from Switzerland. There's trouble and she has to go home right away
The maid tells Lawrence that Vivian's stuff is still arriving, now there's a truck outside with pictures and a suit of armor. Lawrence tells Shawn-D that Aunt Vivian never travels lightly. He doesn't see Carly come down the stairs and exit through the front door. She gets outside into the snow and has a dream-sequence where she's in a white lacy dress and picks a lily. Lawrence finds her gone and discovers her collapsed in the snow outside. He takes her back upstairs but she's delirious and calling for Bo.
The maid tells Lawrence that Lebec is downstairs. Carly goes back to her dream. She picks a lily, Lawrence asks her if she's all right and she collapses. Lawrence goes downstairs and Lebec pulls the gun on him.
