Wow. Okay so this show was even more boring than the last one. If that's at all possible...
Viv takes another pill and her heart rate increases. Carly threatens to put her in hospital if it doesn't slow down. Later Shawn-D stays the night with Nikki.
Jesse tells Roman that it was all Marlena's fault that Stella is dead and that her last word was „Marlena‰. Later he comes back and apologises, saying that he was taking out his anger on the wrong people. Roman is starting to realize that something is wrong with Marlena not calling, especially on Thanksgiving. Junior has placed the answering machine in the tray under Brady's pram....

Jack finishes rewriting the novel and gives it to Jo to read. Jo loves it and Jack enlists her help in sending it off to publishers Later he overhears Phillip who is having problems with his work. Jack convinces Phillip to talk to Jenn about becoming the producer for her show. They go down to the studio where he talks to her and tells her that she comes first. She asks him when he starts.
Roman goes to see John and they talk about the fight that Roman and Marlena had before she left. Roman tells John that he thinks something is wrong. Marlena would at least have called the kids over Thanksgiving. (Even if they have been sent off to Colorado). He tries to call Paul Whitman but his secretary tells Roman that he is in Europe. (The plot thickens...) They both decide the next step is to call on their contacts in DC.
In the pit, Marlena is fading fast. She spends a lot of time remembering the fight and then has (great) flashbacks to her time with Roman and Ro-John.....

Roman arrives at the loft in the morning and they discover that neither of them has been able to get any information from DC. Roman says he wants to go to DC but the doctors won't let him fly. So he asks John to go. John is only too happy to and he calls Carrie to ask her to sit Brady. Austin gets a warning, he needs to pay five thousand dollars by the end of the day. Billie goes with Carrie and filches one of John's cheques, after forging his signature. She takes the cheque and pays the loan shark. Back at the loft, Carrie finds the answering machine and puts it on the counter, but it gets hidden under a baby blanket.
Bo lies to Carly, telling her the investigation into Lisanne's death is winding up. But he goes to Lawrence's and talks to Nikki, prying for information. When Lawrence comes downstairs, Bo shows him the search warrant and he goes out and checks the cars (to see if any of them match the skid marks on the road). He doesn't find what he's looking for but Lawrence calls Carly and tells her what's happening.
Down in the pit, Marlena has memories of Christmases with Roman and then begins to hallucinate as she thinks she sees John and Roman. She tries to take several steps towards the area that she sees them in but then collapses.....

It is the day of Stella's funeral and Roman and Carrie are going. John finds Roman there and tells him he couldn't find a trace of Marlena in DC. They are starting to get really worried. John says that Marlena would have found a way to get hold of them if she couldn't get her messages. After the funeral Roger tells Roman that he never saw or heard from Marlena in NY and when Roman tells him about Stella's last words being Marlena he tells Roman that Stella was still jealous of Marlena. Jesse tells Carrie that he's going back to live in NY with Roger.
Carly and Shawn-D run into Lawrence and Nikki at the tux shop. She teaches Nikki how to dance and then Lawrence shows him how it's done and gets to dance with Carly in the process. They go back to La Alamain where she agrees to let Shawn-Douglas stay the night. When everyone else leaves the room, Vivian asks her not to come round so much, it disturbs Nikki's routine. Carly tells her to hell with her routine, she wants her son back. Viv is shocked as Carly lets rip and eventually tells her that she is going to take Nikki from her and she will never see him again. When she tells Lawrence he is angry but convinces her again not to tell Bo and later puts Vivian effectively under house arrest....

Wow! Whatta show!
Carrie manages to get the truth out of Billie about how she got hold of the $5000 and lets her have it with both barrels. Later she catches up with Billie outside the pub but Billie tells her that she has changed her mind about Austin fighting - if he wants to do it they should stand by him. They have an argument and Carrie tells her she's carry out the plan with or without her help.
Jenn throws a wedding shower for Carly and Shawn a bachelor party for Bo. The girls crash the boy's party and after talking about children Carly phones Lawrence who tells her Nikki is very upset about something. She decides to head over there and rushes upstairs when she gets there.
At the pub before the party, John tells Roman that he couldn't find *anything* in DC and no leads have penned out. It's like she's dropped off the face of the earth. He goes back to the loft to try and make some more phone-calls and at the pub Roman manages to get in touch with Paul Whitman. However he is shocked to learn that Marlena never made it to New York. He calls the station and they find out that not only did Marlena never fly to New York, she never took any plane out of Salem. While he is still waiting for John to come back, Roman calls Taylor and asks her to put an APB out on Marlena's car.
In the pit Marlena is pretty weak and when she hears voices she thinks it might be Roman or John. It's the guys preparing to blow up the warehouse. As she looks towards the opening, a bright light appears and a form takes shape. It takes her a moment before she realizes it's Sam, bathed on golden light. Sam calls her Marnie and tells her she's come to take her to the other side. She tells her that there are a lot of people waiting for her and when Marlena asks if DJ is there, Sam tells her he is wonderful. She holds out her hands to Marlena but Marlena tells her she can't go. She has too much to do here, too many things to resolve. At that Sam fades away.
Back at the loft Carrie is taking Brady out for a walk so John can make some calls when she pulls a gold earring from her pocket and gives it to John telling him it fell out of his coat pocket. HE pockets it as she comments that it looks like one of Marlena's. She leaves and he is looking for something when he discovers the answering machine. When he plays it he discovers messages from Roman and himself and realizes it's Marlena's machine. But what is it doing in his loft? He jumps into the car to take it to the station but as he is playing the tape again he remembers Roman's comment about Stella's last words and then pulls the earring out of his pocket. He puts two and two together and actually comes up with fours and races for the warehouse. He gets into the room as the explosives are ready to go and screams Marlena's name. She manages to call back right before the warehouse blows up....
