John asks Hailey to call the doctor - he promised he‚d take care of all the arrangements. John will call the family and let them know. Later he calls Shawn and Caroline and then takes Brady out onto the balcony where they watch Izzy‚s star and John talks to her.
Carly tells Lawrence he shouldn‚t have kissed her. He says she wanted it but she says she turned to him for comfort and he took advantage of that. He tells her he loves her and they have now an opportunity to start over. She tells him to forget it, gets into the medvan and drives off while he‚s still banging at the window... When she gets back to the boat she sees Bo and realizes that Isabella is gone. They decide to sail out to the deep water to say goodbye to her.
Vivian goes over to see Vic when she hears the news and tells him she is sorry but he asks her to leave.
Marlena, Roman, Kim and Phillip are having dinner when Shawn calls Roman and tells him about Izzy. Kim and Phillip go straight home and a little while later, Roman and Marlena follow their lead. Marlena is worrying about John and says that she wishes he were closer. Roman (the sweetie) reminds her that John has been there before. Marlena tells him that Isabella was his soulmate. (Hmmm.....) She suggests that they go see Shawn and Caroline on the way home.

Carrie opens the door to Austin who has a red rose. He offers her a ride to the University but she tells him she is going to see John and then to work. Billie turns up and tells Austin that Bridget is looking for him. Austin tells Carrie that Bridget is having some problems and he is helping her work through them. He leaves and Carrie blasts Billie for slipping her the ecstasy. She goes over to see John who is acting very normally for someone who has just lost his wife. She talks to Hailey for a while and then goes to work. At the mall she runs into Billie again. Billie apologises again for the ecstasy incident and then manages to let slip that Austin is behind the gambling operation at Johnny Angels. Carrie goes to see him and tells him she knows and that she doesn‚t mind even though she wishes he‚d told her. She tells him it will be their little secret and they kiss. :0)
Phillip tells Kim that he is going down to the station to see if Roman has any more information about the case. He tells her that when he gets back he wants her to be ready to go to the airport. (They are supposed to be eloping to Vegas.) At the station, Roman tells him there are no new leads. When Phillip is gone he tells Taylor that he felt things got a little carried away last night and that he is a married man and intending to stay that way. When Marlena arrives at the station, Taylor beats a hasty retreat. Later Taylor comes back and tells Roman that she wants to dress up as Lacey and go out to the roadhouse. Roman offers to come with her. She has pulled the pearls out of the evidence room but when Roman goes to put them on her he realizes they are not the same ones. He goes over to Donovan manor to tell Phillip the latest development and when he leaves Phillip tells Kimberley that he thinks she may have killed Randy Houston. He decides that they can‚t go to Vegas now. Not until they work out what has happened.
Marlena calls John to offer his support and is leaving a message on his phone as he arrives with Hailey and Brady. He tells Hailey not to pick it up and later doesn‚t really want to hold Brady when she hands the baby to him. He is business as usual until he sees an old note from IzzyB on the fridge. He puts it in the draw and then tells Hailey he has to go out. He goes to Marlena‚s and knocks on the door. She doesn‚t say anything when she opens the door except to invite him in. She makes him some coffee and tells him she knows how he‚s feeling. He asks her if he‚s ever going to feel alive again and she tells him that he will. (And will he!) She tells him that she went through the same thing when she lost DJ, she didn‚t know how she was going to survive the pain, but she did and so will he. (Um...hang on a moment here. Hasn't he already lost a wife once? Just because Mar came back we are supposed to conveniently forget that I guess....) But she tells him he‚s got to let the pain out, to break down or it will consume him. He tells her that he loved Isabella and he wants her back. She turns him around and hugs him tightly. At that moment however, Roman walks through the front door and looks none too happy.....

Marlena left John‚s side to go to Roman and Roman told John that he was sorry about Isabella. John left and Roman told Marlena it looked like he was coping well. She told him that John isn‚t. He is bottling it all up and unless he lets it out he is never going to get past this. Later she is on the phone to Caroline about John when Roman comes in. She gets off the phone and tells Roman that she wants to do all she can for John. Roman tells her he knows she cares but John wouldn‚t want her to put her life on hold. She says this isn‚t about what John wants, it‚s about what he needs. And she thinks she knows what that is. Roman doesn‚t look entirely convinced. Later on Roman comments that it‚s not very often that they are on their own. Marlena says that he has his work... then their conversation turns to John again and Roman starts to get a little bolshy. Marlena wants to know if she is getting attitude from him. At that point Bo turns up, wanting to talk to Marlena about Carly. Then he asks Roman if he can have some time off - for a honeymoon. Roman says not till December. Just before she goes to bed, Marlena calls John again to check that he is okay. He tells her that she doesn‚t have to worry about him. She says she can‚t help it because she cares about him.... Bo meets Carly down at the Pub and they set a date for the wedding - December 4.
Victor tells John about Lawrence‚s offer to join him and destroy John. That sends John off on a path of destruction and at a board meeting he arranges to have one of the factories closed down because of pollution. Later He tells Hailey that he has a new mission - to destroy his brother. Meanwhile Lawrence and Carly have a confrontation in the parking lot where Carly ands up telling Lawrence that she can‚t have any more children. She also tells him she needs a good man - which is why she loves Bo and will never be able to love him. That sends Lawrence home wondering if he is irredeemable. Lisanne tells him that Nikki‚s Œmother‚ is arriving tomorrow and she will take her to a hotel and talk to her first....

Roman offers to take Marlena to work but she says she has to go straight away as she has some loose ends to tie up before she goes to New York, and she also wants to stop in on John on the way. Roman isn‚t thrilled but she tells him she promised Isabella that she would look after John. At the loft, Hailey finishes putting the last of Isabella‚s things into boxes and brings down two videotapes. On is for Brady and one for John. John tells her to put them on the table. Marlena arrives and John tells her that the talk they had yesterday really did the trick. She tells him that it was a good *start*. He tells her he has a new purpose in life - to catch up on his business. She asks about Brady but he keeps changing the subject back to work. She sees the tapes on the table and asks him about it. He says he hasn‚t seen them and she tells him he‚s in denial and he‚s losing touch with himself. He tells her he‚s fine, he‚s just busy. She tells him he‚s lying to himself. She knows him, she knows his heart and his soul and she knows how much he‚s hurting. He still denies it...and tells her that he can‚t afford to feel anything right now. She slips up and calls him honey :0) and tells him the longer he puts it off the worse it‚s gonna be. He tells her about the Lawrence business and then tells her he can‚t talk about it right now. She tells him it‚s okay but that when he is ready, she will be right here - and so will Isabella. She leaves and John takes the tape out of it‚s case but then puts it back away again. Later on he puts Brady down in the crib and then takes out the tape and puts it in the machine. He sits on the couch and hugs a teddy-bear to him as he cries.....
Kim goes down to the station and Roman talks to her about his fears about Marlena. He knows it‚s stupid to think like this but he can‚t quite help it seeing John in his house with his wife....it‚s a memory flashback of a time he‚d rather forget..... Later Kim finds out from Benny that she came by the station last week and the property room and realizes it may have been her that switched the necklaces. Roman tells Stella to take some time off to get ready for the Arts council Benefit tonight. When Roger comes home he discovers Stella all done up and looking like an absolute *nightmare*! He tells her it‚s not her. She thinks he‚s ashamed of her but he tells her he wishes she‚d quit trying to be something she‚s not. He leaves and she says he won‚t want her to be like his *precious* Marlena. Not after *she‚s* finished with her....
Jenn, Jack and Abigail arrive home from the hospital. Jenn tells Alice and Jo that Jack is driving her crazy, he‚s so overprotective. Jo and Alice tell Jenn and Jack that they will look after the baby if they want to go catch up with Bill at the house. The go and the place is a mess. Jack doesn‚t like it but Jenn can see the potential. However later Bill tells himself that they must never find out what happened in this house. (Okay...guess that means Kate and Lucas must arrive soon.....)
Lisanne meets Marie-Helene at the airport. The maid lets slip that she sold her son Nickolas‚s birth certificate to Vivian. Lisanne works out the whole truth of the matter and offers to double what Vivian is paying the woman for further details. At the park Bo and Carly find out that Lawrence was the mysterious donor for the med-van. He tells them it was because he wanted to do something good for the community. He goes home where Lisanne tells him she has some interesting news about the maid...

Austin is playing at Wings. Billie turns up to apologise about telling Carrie about the gambling but he won‚t have any of it. She sings a song and Phillip, who has just come in sees her and recognizes her. He heads her off as she leaves and though she tries to make out she doesn‚t know him eventually they go off to Casey‚s roadhouse where they talk. Turns out Phillip was the one that directed Billie in her previous incarnation as a porn star. He promises to try to get her a singing gig at Casey‚s. She goes back to Wings to tell Austin but he‚s gone. Cash is there though and offers Billie some cocaine. Austin and Carrie have gone down to the pier where Austin puts a flower in her hair and tells her to make a wish. Then he kisses her and she tells him it came true. He whispers that he wants to be with her tonight but she turns away. Eventually she tells him that she hasn‚t any experience. So he tells her he loves her and if she wants to take it slow that‚s fine by him. She says that she always she made out she had experience because she didn‚t want to appear stupid, but deep inside she felt that she should wait - and now she knows why and she‚s so glad. He tells her she‚s a very special and beautiful person who knows what‚s important in life. (Awww....)
Kimberley puts on the music that they found in Lacey‚s room and remembers that when Eric was molesting her she said her name was Lacey. Later she is reading a psychology book and finds that one of the results of childhood sexual abuse can be MPD. She‚s finally realizing what‚s going on...
Carly is talking to Shawn-D about Lawrence and realizes she may have misjudged him. So deciding to put things right she goes and tells him that and apologises. She also tells him they have found the med-van but everything was stolen and asks if he will donate the money to replenish it. Later he tells Lisanne it was him that had the van stolen so that Carly would find out that he was the donor. She in turn neglects to tell him the crucial information that Nikki is his son.
Marlena goes to the station to see Roman but he‚s not there. She asks Stella to copy her schedule for her trip but Roger interrupts them. He tells them he‚s been offered a job in New York and should be leaving the week after next. Marlena tells him she won‚t have time to see him and he leaves. Stella turns to her and says „damn you!‰. Stella really goes off her rocker at Marlena, saying that she seduced her husband and wondering how she managed to fit all her other responsibilities around him. She says it‚s a wonder that she finds time for her children and then says that Marlena has never Œmentioned‚ her children, some mother she must be. This finally gets a rise out of Marlena and Stella starts shouting again. When Marlena tries to leave, saying that she doesn‚t even know what to say to her any more Stella goes for it again. Marlena eventually tells her she needs psychiatric help, she‚s seriously depressed. (Depressed? The woman‚s psychotic!) Stella tells Marlena to get out and so she does. Later Roger comes back and tells Stella that he doesn‚t want her to come to NY with him and that they should start talking about a separation. She manages to talk him into leaving making a decision until he comes back from NY. He leaves and Marlena calls to ask Stella if she left her organizer there as it has her 'life' in it. Stella - with her hand on it tells her no. Later Stella pays a visit to the warehouse and uncovers the hole in the floorboards. She looks down into the hole (complete with rat) and imagines Marlena shouting to be let out......
Jenn tells Jack the baby is coming but he keeps telling her to wait and telling the baby to wait. But when Jenn starts screaming he realizes he is going to have to deliver the child. When he tells her she is ten centimeters dilated she tells him she can‚t do it and isn‚t going to do it. He tells her she is and gets her to start pushing. Before they know it, Jack has delivered them of a baby girl..... :0) Later Jenn calls Alice and tells her they‚ve named the baby Abigail, after Alice‚s mother. Alice has just heard the news about Isabella and later she tells Tom that one precious life left the world tonight and a precious one came into it.....
