October 1991
Kayla goes to see Isabella and tries to get her to talk
about Rojohn and Marlena. Rojohn and Marlena talk about staying
together and not splitting up on the island as they search for
clues, as Roman hides in a bush with a gun aimed at Rojohn. Roman
is then caught by the guards and taken back to his cell. Isabella
tells Kayla if she didn't follow Victor's advice, she and Rojohn
would be together, as Kayla tries to compare her situation with
Shane to theirs. Marlena injures her ankle while treching the
island with Rojohn. Kayla goes to see Shane and Kim is there, and
they start to discuss Lawrence being released, but end up arguing
about Shane, as Kim tells her she is moving out. Cal sits in his
apartment and works on his plan for Kim and Shane. Roman listens
to Gretchen talking to the guards, as Rojohn and Marlena find the
monastery. Roman lays in the bed thinking of Marlena (flashbacks
of Roman and Marlena). Marcus goes to check on Isabella and she
makes him promise not to tell Rojohn she is pregnant.
October 1991
Isabella goes to see Marcus, and bumps into Kayla, when
she learns about Carly being brought in after the elevator
accident. Carly needs to be operated on, and Victor must sign the
consent forms, since he is her husband. Rojohn and Marlena are
searching the island, when Roman shoots at them and they hide, as
Roman then remembers the warning he was issued about Marlena's
safety with Rojohn. Marlena tends to Rojohn's wounds, as he
orders her to return to the plane, but she refuses to leave
without him. Bo tells Isabella the accident was meant for him,
not Carly. Victor arrives and signs the forms, as Marcus operates
on Carly. Kim is at her new apartment, when Cal tries to get in,
but hides when he hears Shane approaching. Shane and Kim argue
about her moving out, and end up getting in a cute paint fight,
as Kayla comes along and ruins the moment! Rojohn and Marlena
hear a voice (Roman) calling out doc, as Roman shoots Rojohn.
Marlena then picks up the gun, as Roman tells her not to shoot,
and comes out to reveal himself, as Roman and Marlena come face
to face. She then faints, as he carries her away, leaving Rojohn
on the ground with a gun shot wound.
October 1991
Bo sits with Carly after the surgery, as Marcus comes in
and discusses her condition with Bo. Rojohn wakes up and calls
out for Marlena. Roman holds Marlena, as she awakens and pulls
back, as he insists he is the real Roman, and tries to explain
how they set it up to look like Rojohn is Roman. He then mentions
her being locked up in the hospital all those years, but she
still doesn't believe him. Rojohn starts to act strangely after
being shot, as he gets flashes of being a soldier. Victor talks
to Isabella about Carly, when Bo sees him and warns him to stay
away from Carly or he'll kill him. Carly starts to wake up, as Bo
tells her about the surgery and tries to keep her calm. Abe and
Brian investigate Carly's "accident". Marlena has a
hard time not believing Roman's story. Rojohn goes looking for
his prey. Kim and Kayla argue about her moving out of Shane's,
and how it will affect him. Isabella tells Marcus she isn't going
to have an abortion, and is going to have the baby with or
without Rojohn. Marlena defends Rojohn to Roman, as Rojohn comes
in with a gun pointed at them.
October 1991
The trio arrive home to Salem, as Roman wants to call
the ISA and get things resolved. Roman and Marlena talk about
being back in the house again, and him wanting to see his family.
Marcus tells Bo they need to operate on Carly, since her
condition is getting worse. She wakes up and Bo tells her she
needs to keep on fighting. Jack is with Hawk, and is being "arrested"
for stock fraud, when the federal agent is shot, and a shoot out
with the other agent occurs, as Hawk and Jack run out. Howard
comes in and they all laugh at their plan working so well. Shane
is shocked when he sees the two Romans, as Roman is glad to see
him again after all these years. Rojohn fills in Roman about the
changes in the ISA, as Shane talks to each one individually and
concludes they both have Roman Brady's memories. Jen goes to see
Carly, as she tells her to fight to get well. Hawk and Jack talk
in an alley about the stock fraud, and now the "murder"
of the federal agents. Hawk then tells Jack they need to hide, as
they jump into a dumpster. Samantha and Eric come home and run up
to Rojohn, as Roman watches. Marlena introduces the kids to Roman
as Mr. Patrick (the name he used years ago when he was guarding
her). Shane concludes the only way to determine which one is the
real Roman is to do a DNA test. Abe is the next one blown away by
the two Romans. Jack and Hawk hide out in a barn full of animals,
as Hawk continues with the plan for Jack and his money. Jen waits
at the airport for Jack to come back from New York, and worries
when he doesn't come off the plane.
October 1991
Bo goes to the office and talks to Isabella about Carly.
She then tells him she's nervous about her meeting with Roman (Rojohn
) later not knowing what to expect. Marlena looks at the goblets,
as Roman reminds her it was him and not Rojohn that was with her
at the Inn where they bought them. Shane arrives with the doctor
to perform the DNA test. Isabella tells Bo she is pregnant, and
how she couldn't tell Rojohn after seeing him with Marlena in
Miami. Rojohn asks Shane to stay with Roman while he talks with
Isabella, as Roman is anxious to see his family again. Marlena
admits she feels drawn to him, but is torn by her feelings for
Rojohn. Roman gets Shane off his tail, then makes a phone call to
Bo to get him over the house. Kim goes to get her stuff, and is
followed by Cal. Kayla goes to Shane's and runs into Kim and they
argue again. Rojohn goes to see Isabella and tries to explain his
trip and Roman to her, and how he believes Roman is working for
Victor to break them up. Bo sees Roman and is blown away.
Isabella assures Roman no matter who he is, she loves him, but he
insists he is Roman Brady. Shane tells Kim and Kayla they need to
go to the fish market with him but he won't tell them why. The
rest of the Brady family comes face to face with Roman, as he
tries to convince them all he is indeed the real Roman, as Rojohn
comes in and is hurt and leaves.
October 1991
Marcus examines Carly to check on her condition. Bo and
Rojohn talk on the pier about the wait for the test results.
Shane learns about the DNA test. Cal prepares the apartment by
sound proving it. Shane tells Kim and Kayla the tissue samples
were stolen, so they still don't know which Roman is the real one.
Victor goes to see Carly and informs her the annulment has been
postponed. Jen talks to Marcus about Jack being in trouble. Jack
and Hawk continue to hide on the barn. Jen and Carly talk about
her accident. Rojohn and Bo try to find prove Victor is behind
Carly's accident. Kim suggest the DNA test be re-done and Kayla
take the samples to Washington. Cal arranges for Kim's furniture
to be delivered to his place. Kayla tells Kim she is wise to her,
as Kim defends herself.
October 1991
Kayla explains to Shawn and Caroline about taking the
DNA samples to Washington to learn which Roman is the real one.
Kim and Shane talk about her moving out. Cal unpacks Kim's things
- in his apartment for her expected arrival. Roman and Marlena
talk about the test, and he thinks it's a waste, as she tries to
explain the doubts. Roman and Rojohn lay their cards on the
table, as Roman asks Rojohn who paid him to impersonate him. They
then "discuss" what each of them knows of the other's
life. Shane and Kim talk about their past disagreements before
she leaves with Jeannie for her new apartment. Cal daydreams of
Kim and "their" daughter. Shane finally learns of Cal's
escape. Kayla goes to Kim's and Cal grabs her, thinking she is
Kim, and is shocked to discover his mistake, but decides she must
go with him. Victor is shocked to see the two Romans talking on
the pier. Roman and Marlena go to the church they were married in
(flashbacks of their first wedding) as he recalls their wedding
in detail. Caroline and Shawn trick Rojohn to try and show him he
isn't their son. Shane tells Kim about Cal and promises to
protect her from him.
October 1991
Cal continues to terrorize Kayla as he holds her hostage
in his apartment. Bo talks with Isabella about the elevator
accident Carly had, and how he wants her to help him nail Victor.
Kim talks with Shane and Rojohn about Cal having her furniture.
Roman talks with Marlena about being frustrated about not being
able to help find Kayla. Hawk talks with Jen about Jack being
missing. Victor tries to locate Roman. Gretchen and Lawrence make
strange bed fellows. Kayla tries to con Cal about working with
him to separate Kim and Shane. Rojohn goes to the police station,
and is treated like an outsider, as Isabella watches and tries to
offer comfort. Shane and Kim go to the television station to do a
report on Jen's show. Cal and Kayla watch the broadcast where
Shane and Kim appeal to him to let Kayla go. Shane later receives
a letter from Cal.
October 1991
Kim overhears Shane talking to the police about Cal, and
he then reminds her if she didn't get involved with Cal, Kayla
won't be in trouble. Kayla tries to find a way out, as Cal keeps
a watchful eye on her. Kim and Shane argue some more, when she
comes up with an idea. Julie and Molly go to Alice's restaurant,
as Julie tries to reassure Molly Tanner isn't involved with
Ginger. Maggie tries to lift Jen's spirits over Jack leaving.
Tanner and Hawk talk about Molly, and Hawk tries to show Tanner
Molly likes him (Tanner). Ginger and Molly argue, as Julie
intercepts. Kim makes arrangements to use her old radio show to
reach Cal. Tanner talks to Ginger about helping her find the
missing person she's looking for. Julie defends Molly to Ginger,
as Molly believes Ginger is after Tanner.
October 1991
Bo goes to pick up Carly at the hospital for the opening
of the trauma center, as she reminds him it's her birthday.
Caroline and Isabella discuss Rojohn. Rojohn talks with Eric and
Sami in the park about Halloween, when Victor approaches him.
Kayla dreams Shane comes to her rescue, when Cal comes in dressed
up for Halloween. Kim and Shane talk about getting Cal to call
the radio station. Shawn brings a gun home for Caroline to keep
for protection. Caroline goes to see Victor about helping Rojohn
and Isabella. Rojohn fills in Bo about his conversation with
Victor about working for him. Marcus is concerned about Carly,
after her blood pressure goes up, when she learns about Bo and
what is going on.
October 1991
Cal continues to hold Kayla hostage and goes on about
Kim joining them. Shane and Kim talk about her missing furniture
and the possibily Cal is behind it. Marlena talks with Shawn and
Caroline, and they decide to call Roman #2, John Black again,
against Marlena's protest. John goes to see Victor for answers
after he sees the family with the other Roman, and almost chokes
Victor, as Abe and Roman stop him. Isabella tells Bo she couldn't
tell John she was pregnant after he told her about the other
Roman. She then makes Bo promise not to say anything to anyone.
Gretchen goes to see Lawrence for a job. Shane and Kim tell the
others about Cal, as Kim tells Roman Cal doesn't know him as
Roman, he knows John, and he is in danger from Cal. Abe convinces
John to temporarily resign from the police department until this
is resolved. Isabella and Bo find John cleaning out his office,
and they try to offer comfort.
