February 1991 Updates
February 1, 1991
April argues with Johnny on the phone about Alexander,
as Isabella comes in and he covers. Lawrence goes to Los Angeles
to see Kim, and is smitten when he sees her. Shane, Kayla, Neil
and Julie have an uncomfortable meeting about the lab. Lawrence
"bumps" into Kim and he introduces himself as a
benefactor of her clinic. Johnny finds April at the park with
Alexander, and tries to explain his plan to her. Isabells talks
to Victor about his improvements.
February 5, 1991
Kayla watches Shane dancing with Stephanie in the living
room. Lawrence brings Kim a flower. Justin is shocked to see
Johnny with Alexander. Roman tells Whitney he is going to be her
guard, as he gets Isabella's message. Kim invites Lawrence to her
place for dinner. Roman comes into Victor's as Johnny is
explaining to Justin about finding Alexander. Kim and Lawrence
talk about the kids and Shane, and how she dances with her
daughter, like Shane used to when Andrew was a baby, as Lawrence
pours it on thick.
February 6, 1991
Kim calls Lawrence on his scheme and wants answers.
Shane and Kayla almost kiss. Carly misunderstands when she sees
Bo and Emmy together. Tanner calls Brian to tell him he can't
make it to dinner at Wings. Lawrence watches as Kim comforts a
little boy named Matt, who came to her after his father abused
him. Melissa goes to talk to Tanner at the Cheatin Heart. Matt's
father arrives, as do the police, as Lawrence defends Matt, as
the police decide to take him with them. Kim and Lawrence discuss
what took place, as she tries to get him to level with her.
February 8, 1991
Lawrence talks about using Kim to get at Shane, as he
seems to have real feelings for her. Kayla talks to Shane about
Carly working at the lab. As they go to talk about what happened
between them, Kimberly calls, and talks briefly with Shane, then
talks to Kayla about a new man she met (Lawrence). Caroline and
Shawn head to Los Angeles to see Kim, as a birthday present for
Caroline. Carly checks on Victor, as Bo watches. While Kim is
having a meeting with Lawrence, she spots Shawn and Caroline
outside her office door and goes to them. When she goes to
introduce Lawrence to them, he disappears, but comes back after
they leave and tells Kim his full name, as she looks shocked.
Lawrence tries his best to convince Kim he's not a monster, and
tells her if she goes back to Salem, maybe he can show her the
real him.
February 13, 1991
Kayla goes to see Shane, as he fantasies about kissing
her. Kim looks at her wedding picture, as Caroline asks her if
she still cares for Shane. Frankie goes to see Lawrence. Jen
finds Eve in bed with Jack, as they argue about Eve setting it up
to look like Jack slept with her. Kim does her best to hide her
feelings. Eve tells Jen she and Jack are married. Kayla argues
with Shane about not telling her about the break in at the lab.
Jack wakes up as he and Eve talk about announcing their marriage,
as she tells him about Jen seeing them in bed. Kim learns more
about Lawrence. Jack goes to see Jen and tells her why he married
Eve.
February 14, 1991
Lawrence goes to see Victor and Isabella. Roman talks to
Eve about the night Nick died. Tanner argues on the phone with
someone about doing as he's told or they'll go after Brian. Bo
asks Shane what the real scope is on the lab, but Shane covers.
Eve tells Shane what she did the night Nick died, when Roman
comes over. Carly works with Victor on his recovery. Shane learns
Eve married Jack. Brian and Tanner talk about Nick's murder case.
Roman and Isabella are lured to dinner together, which leads to a
romantic evening.
February 18, 1991
Kim gets a phone call from Tom about coming back home.
Eve overhears Roman telling Shane he has to arrest her for Nick's
murder. Jen and Frankie tell Jack their part in Eve's current
problem. Brian talks to Tanner about him being a witness to
Nick's murder. Lawrence calls Kimberly and she tells him not to
bother her again, as he's sure Kim will be back home soon. Shane
and Kayla talk as they wait for Eve at the police station. Jack
and Jen talk about Lawrence's reaction to Eve being arrested. Kim
imagines her return home and a reunion with Shane.
February 19, 1991
Roman and Isabella bump into each other on the pier and
talk about their relationship. Neil and Maggie make love as
Mickey arrives at the hotel to surprise her for their anniversary.
Shane goes to kiss Kayla, as she pulls away, as Marcus comes in
and senses something is going on between them. The guests arrive
for Stephanie's first birthday party. Caroline talks to Shane
about her visit with Kim and Andrew. Shane and Kayla argue about
Marcus and they end up kissing as Kim comes home and witnesses
them kissing.
February 20, 1991
Frankie talks to Jen about throwing herself into her
work. Eve and Jack argue about her not going to Stephanie's
party, as part of their cover. Bo overhears Lawrence trying to
learn about Kim. Kim is shocked to see Shane and Kayla kissing,
as Shane turns around and see Kim standing there. Johnny shows
Julie the newspaper on Eve's marriage to Jack while she was away.
Frankie argues with Jen about the story she is doing on Eve.
Lawrence covers with Bo about his interest in Kim, as Bo warns
him to stay away from his sister. Shane and Kayla both try to
explain to Kim what she saw, as she apologizes for barging in on
them. Kim tells Shane she's back home to stay. Shane has a
reunion with Andrew, and learns Kim named the baby Jeannie, after
his mother, as he holds her, not knowing she is really his
daughter. Lawrence bumps into Kim, as Bo intercepts.
February 21, 1991
Kayla calls about an apartment as Shane listens. Kim
returns to the clinic, as Lawrence greets her, and tries to get
back in her good graces. Marcus goes to pick up Kayla for her
move, as Shane tries to get her to talk to him about what
happened between them. Kim and Neil have a reunion, as she tells
him there is no hope for her and Shane getting back together.
Shawn-Douglas' hearing comes back. Maggie tries to keep her
distance between her and Neil after their encounter. Shawn senses
the rift between Kim and Kayla. Shane goes to visit Peachy in the
hospital in Washington. Kim and Kayla have an uncomfortable talk,
as Shane comes in.
February 22, 1991
Isabella runs into Roman with Whitney and they share an
uncomfortable encounter. Jack and Jen meet outside the courthouse
and discuss Lawrence and Nick's death, as a group of reporters
come and ask about Eve. Johnny talks to Roman about him and
Isabella as a friend to them both. Brian and Tanner talk about
him being forced to go to court. Shane is surprised to see Kim at
Eve's trial, as she tells him she's there for moral support.
Tanner takes the stand and claims Eve shot and killed Nick. Jen
goes to a support group meeting and says outloud that she was
raped.
February 25, 1991
Victor goes to see Carly, and stands up from his
wheelchair, as she embraces him and Bo walks in and sees them.
Kayla and Marcus talk about her living with him at his place and
Shane. The gunshop owner takes the stand in Eve's case and it
goes from bad to worse for Eve. Kim watches as Shane and Kayla
talk. Bo and Emmy take Shawn-Douglas back to the houseboat, after
seeing Victor and Carly. Brian goes to see Tanner about the trial.
Kayla tries to explain to Kim why she is there, but they are at
odds, as Shane comes over. Tanner calls Frankie about helping Eve.
Shane and Kim have dinner and talk, as he tells her it's over
with them, as Kayla walks in with Marcus, and Kim realizes Shane
is in love with Kayla.
February 26, 1991
Jen and Jack meet in secret on the pier, and watch as
Lawrence arrives. Frankie talks to Tanner about Eve, as Johnny
walks in. Kim confronts Shane about Kayla, as Marcus and Kayla
overhear them and come over to their table. Lawrence realizes it
was a trick, as he mentions the letter. Jack and Jen then discuss
this letter and search Eve's things for it and argue about him,
Eve and Frankie. Marcus asks Kayla what is going on, as she
covers. Shane and Kayla talk as she denies her feelings for him.
Lawrence talks to Kim at the abuse clinic and has a flashback to
his childhood. Tanner tells Frankie he lied about Eve to save his
family, but he knows where the gun is - on a train. Kim talks to
Lawrence about being so upset over a children's song.
February 28, 1991
Jen and Jack discuss Eve leaving town, as Brian comes to
see her. Kim and Lawrence talk about Shane and Kayla. Shane
brings Kayla Stephanie's music box that she left behind, and
tells her of his plans for them - at the lab. Jack tries to dodge
Brian, as Jen helps by pretending to be a sick in bed Eve. Shane
and Kayla walk in on Lawrence and Kim talking, as he asks her to
dinner. Shane and Kim argue about Lawrence. Brian catches on to
Jack and Jen and wants to speak to Eve, and warns if she doesn't
show up, they will be arrested. Kayla tries to warn Kim about
Lawrence, as Kim wants to discuss their problems. Jen talks to
Whitney about knowing Jack loves her still. Melissa tells Brian
she got a job on the train. Lawrence convinces Kim to have dinner
with him. Jack and Jen go over their plans for searching the
train for the gun.
