July 1990 Updates
July 2, 1990
Steve and Kayla tell Shane the Loretta sank, but Shane
says he's been in contact with it's computer. Isabella, who's
being poisoned, hears a gun shot, and tries to check it out, only
to learn she is locked in her room. Jen and Jack kiss, when he
stops, as Jen tells him it's only them, and asks him to make love
to her, as his pants zipper gets stuck, but he finally gets it
working. Isabella needs a doctor, fast. Bo saves Roman from being
shot. Shane tries to locate the computer from the Loretta, and
then the castaways. Ernesto learns someone is trying to tap into
his computer. Jack and Jen make love for the first time, as he
opens up to her. Shane learns from Johnny about Ernesto's plans.
July 1990
Adrienne and Justin are being watched on their trip to
Tahiti. Kim overhears Shane talking to Eve about her, when Eve
asks Shane if he still loves Kim, but he pauses, as Kim comes in
and wants to know the answer. After Eve leaves, they argue, and
he says he can't forget this is Cal's baby, as they drift farther
apart. Adrienne is grabbed by a man, who mistakes her for Carly.
July 9, 1990
Roman tells Victor to give himself up to Ernesto for
Isabella, but he has a plan. Shane and Steve work on finding the
castaways. When Hope and Jen try out the raft, they almost drown,
as Bo saves Hope, and well, Jack is saved by Jen, trying to save
her. Shane talks to Johnny again about Ernesto. Johnny then tells
Shane about Ernesto being a master of illusions, and the island
in Italy. Shane and Steve head to the island in Italy.
July 10, 1990
Shane tells Eve about his trip to Italy, as Kim walks in
and is surprised. Steve and Kayla celebrate their anniversary.
Emilio tells Melissa he's done with Jen, as she tries to get him
to open up to her. Steve and Kayla plan another wedding (#3).
Sarah realizes her boyfriend is only after one thing, and he's
not right for her. Kim tells Shane he is running away from her,
as he defends his choice to leave.
July 11, 1990
Roman fills in Bo on his plan to get Isabella and help
for them. Jen babbles on nervously, as Jack asks what is
bothering her, as she's afraid they waited too long to be
together. Ernesto tells Isabella she'll see Roman. Shane and
Steve find the place Ernesto held Johnny captive, as they search
for leads on the castaways. Jack gives Jen a ring he made her
from a sea shell. Victor and Julie find the radio from the
Loretta, as Shane and Steve try to contact them. Roman is taken
to Isabella, and he breaks the truth to her about her father.
July 12, 1990
Jen works on the radio, trying to get help, as Shane
calls them on the radio. Shane and Steve pick up a distress call,
as Steve says that is Jennifer. Isabella learns from Roman Victor
is her real father, but she doesn't believe it, until he shows
her the pages from the diary. Kayla goes to see Kim with the baby
and Shawn-Douglas, as they talk about the situation. Isabella
confronts Ernesto about her mother and him. Jack and Jen reach
Shane and Steve on the radio. Hope and Julie then go after Bo and
Roman to tell them help is on the way.
July 13, 1990
Jen goes on and on about her and Jack being a couple,
and while they are asleep, Jack "sees" his 2 dads again.
Julie and Hope look for Bo, as he hides inside the tomb, watching
the confrontation between Victor and Ernesto. Justin wants him
and Adrienne to have a baby, and talks about adoption. Shane and
Steve find Jack and Jen. Roman and Bo capture Ernesto, but he
shows them he has Hope in a cage, over a barrel of acid. Isabella
tries to reason with Ernesto as Roman tries to reach Hope. Bo and
Hope share a heart felt farewell.
July 16, 1990
Roman holds back Bo, as he tries to find Hope in the
flames. Emilio and Melissa learn Jen is okay. Shane and Steve
hear the explosion, and learn about Hope. Hans tells Bo and Roman
the trick malfunctioned and that Hope and Ernesto are dead. Bo
doesn't want to leave the island with the others, as Shane tries
to convince him to let the ISA search, but he insists on staying
to find Hope.
July 17, 1990
Adrienne tells Justin the people on the cruise are
coming home. Isabella tries to cope with what has happened. Shane
calls April about Johnny and his involvement with Ernesto, and
warns her Johnny has a lot to answer to. Roman hears Shane asking
for another ISA case, and reminds Shane of what he has with Kim,
as Shane mentions what Roman has with Isabella.. Victor tries to
talk to Isabella about their past, to go forward with the future.
Adrienne and Justin's baby making plans take a detour to dinner
with Neil and Jo, but when they arrive at Adrienne and Justin's,
they figure something is up, and make up and excuse to go alone.
July 19, 1990
Steve comes home and Kayla asks about Hope, but Steve
just shakes his head. Shane and Bo "talk" to Johnny
about Ernesto. Shawn tells Caroline and Julie Shawn-Douglas is
missing. Kayla tells Kim about Hope, as Shane comes in with Bo,
and Kim asks why he's avoiding her, and if she is losing him.
Jack and Steve talk about Hope, as Steve knows something is going
on with Jack. Bo finds Shawn-Douglas on the boat, looking for him
and Hope.
July 20, 1990
Jack goes to the loft to get Jen for Hope's memorial.
Kim and Shane arrive at the church, as Victor comes in, and Roman
tells Shawn he belongs there, as Isabella promises to make sure
he makes no trouble. Kayla and Steve go to get Bo, but he says
he's not going, since he doesn't believe Hope is dead. Jack
coaches Jen on how to talk to her boss about not being able to
finish the story in time. Jack and Jen then get a offer, for him
to fill on on cross fire. Bo goes fishing with Shawn-Douglas, as
everyone gathers for Hope's memorial. Alice goes to the boat to
see Bo, and he then goes to the church.
July 26, 1990
Jen comes across a picture of her and Katarina (Carly)
when they were in boarding school, as Jack comes over and wonders
what's up with her. Carly talks to Marcus about volunteering at
the clinic. Steve and Kayla take a stroll on the pier and talk
about their wedding (#3), as someone hides and listens. Shane
talks to Tarrington about a new case, as Kim comes in and learns
his plans. Jen doesn't tell Jack about her concerns for Carly, as
they learn he was a great success on cross fire, and they want
him to do some more. Kim tells Shane the ultrasound showed the
baby is a girl, as he says that is what they have always wanted,
thinking it's not his baby. Jack and Jen talk about their
relationship, as he has a hard time opening up to her.
July 31, 1990
Julie and Eve go over the plans for the video for
Melissa and Emilio, when Nick comes by to see Eve. Sarah and
Carrie go to a movie audition with a teen actor named Chad.
Johnny and April bump into Nick and Eve at the Cheatin Heart. Kim
and Kayla talk about the wedding, and she wants her to be Maid of
Honor again. Sarah catches Neil and Maggie kissing.
