February 1990 Updates
February 2, 1990
Shane learns Kim is going to Kayla's wedding. Steve
brings Kayla breakfast in bed. Roman hears the tape of Kayla and
Marina's fight. As Jack gets ready for the wedding, Jen imagines
her and Jack getting married. Kim gives Shane the address for the
wedding, and tells him the next one is his. Julie arrives back
home. Shane shows up for the wedding. Justin sings "My Love".
Febuarary 5, 1990
After hearing the tape, Abe and Lexie have a hard time
doing the right thing. Kayla and Steve's second wedding begins,
as Abe comes to question Kayla about Marina's death. Shane is one
of the first people to jump to Kayla's defense, as Kim notices.
Kim and Shane go home, and he tries to comfort her. Kim gets
Shane to think about trying hypnosis, after he has a break
through, remembering Kayla. Kayla tells Steve about the argument
with Marina and the tape. Abe arrests Kayla for Marina's death.
Shane opens up to Kim about his feelings for her.
February 8, 1990
Kim talks with Caroline and Shane about Kayla's bail
money. Shane then remembers when Andrew was born. Neil tells
Steve and Kayla the stress of going back to jail can be harmful
to the baby. Caroline goes to see Victor, just like he expected
she would. Rebecca writes Shane a good-bye letter. Jen plans to
bring Melissa home for Maggie and Mickey's anniversary. Roman
tells Kayla and Steve her bail was posted. Cal calls Andrew while
he is playing with Shane, and asks about how Shane is doing.
Rebecca hears Cal and Simon's conversation about Shane. Kayla has
a surprise baby shower. Rebecca leaves a message for Shane to
meet her, as Cal tampers with her brakes.
February 9, 1990
Shane looks for Rebecca when she doesn't show up at the
spot she told him. Kim comes in and shows Shane the newspaper
article about a car accident and a woman killed. Steve and Kayla
talk before her hearing begins. Isabella goes to see Kayla, but
Roman doesn't think it's a good idea. Shane identifies Rebecca's
body. Cal goes to see Kim about Shane's memory. Kim gives Shane
the letter that came for him in the mail from Rebecca. Shane
agrees to hypnosis. While Shane is under, he remembers Kim.
February 12, 1990
Shane remembers Kim and his feelings for her while he is
under hypnosis. Kayla is ordered to stand trial in Marina's death.
Shane remembers the bubble bath Kim took after learning to ride
horses. Kim takes Shane forward in time - to the point of
the accident, and he almost remembers, but can't, as Kim is
forced to bring him out. Roman and Isabella talk about Kayla, as
she offers to get close to Victor to help Kayla. Jack and Jen
work together on the story about Kayla. Shane has no conscious
memory of what he said, as Kim tells him about what he said about
the accident, but doesn't tell him about the rest. Steve wants to
take off with Kayla, but she refuses. Kim does her best to calm
down Shane, as he's frustrated over not remembering. Roman tells
Kim about Kayla's case, as Shane comes in and comforts her.
February 13, 1990
Kim and Shane look at some old photo's, as Cal comes by
at Kim's request. Kim asks Cal to fly her and Shane over the
mountain, as a way to get his memory back, but Cal refuses, as
Shane doesn't trust him. Shane wants Kim to hypnotize him again.
Shane remembers some more of his feelings for Kim, as she's
forced to bring him around before things get out of hand. Julie
meets with Victor at Wings. Nick brings April some more of her
things. Mike plans a surprise trip for him and April. When Shane
comes out of hypnosis, he's shocked to see he's holding Kim.
Shane goes for a walk and comes back to find Kim waiting with a
romantic dinner for them, as he tries to remember and gets
frustrated when he can't.
February 16, 1990
Cal slips a threatening note in Kim's paper, as she
tries to hide it from Shane. Kayla tries to get Caroline to tell
the truth, that she didn't kill Marina, that she is in jail to
protect her. Victor tells Roman he has proof to clear Caroline.
Shane learns about the note, and tells Kim they can only trust
each other. Melissa warns Jack to stay away from Jen. Shane goes
under hypnosis again, as he says Cal is responsible for
everything that happened, as Kim thinks Shane never forgave her
for her relationship with Cal. Steve is forced to testify against
Kayla, as she starts to have pains. Kim watches her and Shane's
wedding video, when he comes in and watches it with her. He then
asks about his ring, and remembers giving it to Kayla before the
explosion. Kayla goes in labor.
February 19, 1990
Justin talks to Jo about Adrienne's company being in
trouble. Shane tells Kim what he remembers about the explosion,
as he says he saw Cal in the helicopter. Kayla tells Steve the
baby is coming. Kim tells Shane about the rose pedals she left on
the mountain, as he remembers seeing them. Justin asks Adrienne
out on a date, as they learn about Kayla. Cal comes over and Kim
talks to him about Jericho, as he gets defensive, as Shane
listens. Shane then gets mad at Kim, as he tells her Cal is
dangerous. Kayla and Steve's baby girl is born.
February 20, 1990
Adrienne and Justin start to grow closer again and kiss.
Kayla and Steve's baby is born, and they name her Stephanie Kay.
Shane tells Kim he wants to go with her to the hospital. Marcus
sneaks Kim, Roman and Adrienne in to see Kayla and the baby. Cal
bugs Kim and Shane's house. Cal calls Kim as Shane tells her to
hang up fast. Shane tells Kim he doesn't trust Cal. Roman argues
with Isabella to stay away from Victor.
February 23, 1990
Kim touches Shane on the shoulder, and he snaps at her
to leave while she can. Steve and Kayla go home with the baby.
Roman asks Isabella out to lunch, but she says she has plans.
Shane tells Kim how much he wants to be with her, and he's trying
to be a gentleman. Cal and Simon talk about their plan. Kim
doesn't think Shane should hear the tapes from his sessions yet,
but is called away before she can lock them up, as Shane comes in
and sees the tapes, and plays one. Kim comes back and finds Shane
listening, as she tries to explain what happened, but he storms
out. Roman and Isabella argue when he catches her at Victor's.
Kim and Shane argue about her and Cal, and she says it means he
still loves her, as they get closer.
February 26, 1990
Jack walks in on the surprise celebration Scott,
Melissa, Emilio and Faith have thrown for Jen for her writing
award. Isabella and Roman hide, as Victor knows they are there,
and instructs a servant to get rid of the suitcase of Marina's
taping device. Kim and Shane finally make love again, but he
tells Kim he still doesn't remember their past, as they are
interrupted by the doorbell. Cal talks to Kim, as Shane comes
down. Isabella asks Jack for any files he has on Victor, as she
and Roman are working on a lead. Roman goes back to Victor's with
a search warrant. Cal says "good-bye" to Kim, as Shane
tells her they need to be careful around him. Shane tells Kim the
next time they make love, he wants it to be like it was before.
February 28, 1990
Shane does his best to keep his feelings under control
around Kim. Jen plans to go to Wings for Emilio and Melissa's
debut, when Jack tells her he needs her help on an article.
Mickey thinks Kayla should change her plea, but Steve is against
it. Jack asks Jen to work with him on Kayla's verdict. Shane
tells Kim he's falling in love with her (again), but at the same
time he needs to protect her. Kayla goes along with Steve on her
plea. While working with Jen, Jack notices (finally) she's not a
kid anymore. While Kim and Shane are at Wings, Cal is there and
watches them. When Eve walks in, Cal pumps her for information
about Shane and Kim, as Kim sees him and tells Shane they need to
go home fast. Melissa and Emilio make their singing debut. Kayla
is found guilty. Kim tells Shane about Cal at Wings, and how she
feels about everything that has happened. Shane tells Kim, as
long as she is there for him, he will get his memory back.
