Daphne had suffered a heart attack and was unable to communicate everyone was saddened by this news.
Calliope had promised Pete to help him with his number at club and she was when Madame X Du prix came in. Pete was dressed as a Lumber Jack and Calliope was going through the steps with him. Madame X Du prix started applauding when Pete finished his number and Pete asked her if it was any better. She said yes and so did Calliope.
Over at Blondie's Hope, Larry, Megan, Carlton and Maxwell were having lunch then Larry had to go meet one of his political backers. He asked Hope if she wanted to join him but she said no she would get a ride home later. Then Melissa came in and she and Hope chatted for a while. Melissa went to the kitchen to get something to eat and then Alice Horton walked in.
Hope joined her and she filled her in on what happened. Hope was upset because Bo could have been killed but she also felt sorry for Daphne. Just then Bo walked in with Howie and sat down with Eugene and then one of Maxwell's men came and gave him some news. Bo told them to watch for the reaction and they saw Max was very angry.
Then Bo went over and joined Megan and Maxwell, Megan asked what he was doing and he told her he was helping Howie crack a case. He told Max he didn't look to happy and asked him if something was wrong Max just told him a business deal gone sorrow and reminded Bo that he worked for him not Howie. Megan asked when he was going to see Zachary because he was coming home soon and they needed to go over his living arrangements. Bo said he would see to it and then he wished them goodnight.
Madame X Duprix walked into Blondie's she had a flyer advertising Beefcakes with a photo of Pete wearing a mask on the front. Calliope was complaining about who had eaten her salad when she saw the flyer and snatched it out of Melissa's hands.
